2008 was a very quiet year for Volcano The Bear, a few shows, 1 reissue and a few compilation appearances.
2009 will be different so here's what's going on with vtb and our related projects.
VOLCANO THE BEAR

We
recently conributed music to a short Russian film, 'how i fought
bravely the thirst for knowledge and what happened then', by Elena
Golovnina. It has it's first showing at the National Centre for
Contemporary Arts in Moscow on April the 8th. you can watch the film

AARON MOORE
Aaron
is undertaking a UK/France tour with Alan Courtis to promote their soon
to be released vinyl album, Courtis/Moore 'Brokebox Juke' on the No-Fi

Volucan
have released a live cdr (Volucan16) to coincide with the tour also.
The cdr contains live recordings of Aaron Moore's Norwegian tour in
December 2008 with Per Gisle Galaen, Sinder Bjerga & Jonas Qvale.

DANIEL PADDEN
The One Ensemble Orchestra have an album released by No-Fi also on March 2nd.
The album is called 'Other Thunders'.
The One Ensemble Orchestra is a seven-piece band incorporating cello,
viola, clarinets and bass clarinets, accordian, piano, guitar,
percussion and many voices.

Amolvacy,

Amolvacy
play a New York show on February 11th at The Stone at 10pm. The Stone

Textile Orchestra's debut cd will
be available very soon. 'For The Boss' will be released by Beta Lactam
Ring Records. Textile Orchestra is Alexandre Bellenger, Aaron Moore,
Arnaud Riviere & Dan Warburton.
SONGS OF NORWAY
Songs Of Norway's album 'Despite The Cloak' is being reissued on CD by Beta Lactam Ring Records very soon.
The CD contains 20 minutes of unreleased live material of the duo of Aaron Moore & Nick Mott and has new artwork too.
