THE KNEELING WARRIOR

In Quietness and Trust Shall Be Your Strength (found in Is.30:15)
The kneeling warrior our true strength is prayer & humbly trusting in God. (1 Peter 5:6)
Head resting on his right hand - our thinking & activity is surrendered to the all knowing God. (Ro.12:2)
The Sword - The Word of God (Eph. 6:17) is our stability (Heb. 4:12)
The golden cross on the sword - is our precious access to God (1 Cor. 1:18)
Cottonwood tree - the strength from God will weather every storm, not moved by the winds of circumstance (Eph. 4:14)
Volunteer lilac tree behind his shoulder - our First Love of the Lord must always be renewed no matter how many battles we weather. (Rev.2:4)

African Americans in the BODY OF CHRIST

      I am a white man, born in Valparaiso, Indiana (Northern Indiana), Raised in Mitchell, Indiana. As a youngster I had very little experience with what I was taught were colored people, my parents taught me to respect them as though they were just as I was. However, because we had so few encounters we never talked much about the subject. I joined the US Navy in 1980 and suddenly I was amongst 50frican American People or Spanish people, so I did as was taught by my parents. However, the problem is that there is a difference and I knew nothing about that difference and because of that, I found myself in very upsetting circumstances many times. GOD did make us different and unique and that will never change. I have heard people say that there is no color or race in heaven, or in the south people seem to think there are different heavens for different races. This could not be further from the truth. The Great Multitude in White Robes  9 After this I looked and there before me was a great multitude that no one could count, from every nation, tribe, people and language, standing before the throne and in front of the Lamb. They were wearing white robes and were holding palm branches in their hands. 10And they cried out in a loud voice: "Salvation belongs to our God, who sits on the throne, and to the Lamb." 11All the angels were standing around the throne and around the elders and the four living creatures. They fell down on their faces before the throne and worshiped God, 12saying: "Amen! Praise and glory and wisdom and thanks and honor and power and strength be to our God for ever and ever. Amen!" 13Then one of the elders asked me, "These in white robes--who are they, and where did they come from?" 14I answered, "Sir, you know." 15And he said, "These are they who have come out of the great tribulation; they have washed their robes and made them white in the blood of the Lamb. Therefore, "they are before the throne of God and serve him day and night in his temple; and he who sits on the throne will spread his tent over them. 16Never again will they hunger; never again will they thirst. The sun will not beat upon them, nor any scorching heat. 17For the Lamb at the center of the throne will be their shepherd; he will lead them to springs of living water. And God will wipe away every tear from their eyes." If there is no visual and audible difference in people in heaven, meaning racial or national, then how do you suppose that John knew there diversities? Now, I was discharged from the Navy in 1986, had terribly abused my wifes trust many times, and hurt her very deeply. Damage that only GOD can heal, I am very sorry for this as well as ashamed to have known the person who committed those atrocities to her. I say it that way because I am no longer that person. In May of 1991 my wife left me, and a man who I felt was helping her and even counseling her to leave me, told me that when we were divorced he would marry her, and he was African American, this man told me that he would be a better father than I had been. This enraged me to no end, I began to entertain a cycle of HATE in my life, I met a woman 6 months later, and we dated, and from that day on, we have been together. Her family lived in NE Georgia.

After this we all hugged and went our ways. A few weeks later we were bowling with a couple of our CHRISTian friends who I before have mentioned in another thread his name is Mike who I gave the book of proverbs on CD to play through the night. As we were leaving the bowling alley not yet in the foyer the LORD spoke in my heart that two men were in the parking lot and were ready to receive CHRIST so I told Mike and his then wife. Sure enough when we walked out there were two African American men near by our vehicle and so we began to share with them and they to prayed to receive CHRIST. Sometime after that we were at my wifes Grand-Mothers house and the lady who took care of her was an African American woman named Effy, now Effy lived there too. and so we shared CHRIST with her, and she began to weep, soon after we asked her if she would like to receive CHRIST as her SAVIOR, and she said yes, so we prayed then we all hugged one another, now Granny as we affectionately called her, saw us hugging Effy, and though she said nothing to us, she told my wifes mother, and that evening we were asked what we were doing hugging "that N.... woman", I told them that she was now our sister in CHRIST.I was told that they do not hug or touch black people in these parts. Then after some argument they asked me if I would marry outside of my race, I said if I loved the person and I was a single man I would. they told me that I could go to the other side of the tracks and live and that even though they were barefoot and it was cold outside they would take me right then. I remained seated and said if my wife goes, I will go, by this time things had gotten way out of hand, and there was lots of yelling, so we (my wife and I) left. By the way, my wifes grandfather was half American Indian (Cherokee).I am half German on my fathers side and Scotch/Irish on my mothers side. My Point is that most Americans are interracial in some way. These same people (above mentioned) never ever miss a church service, teach children Sunday school, and talk about GOD often.

Now GOD restored in my heart, by HIS GRACE, LOVE for ALL no mater who or what race they are.

In my opinion there are ONLY two races in the earth today SAVED and UNSAVED.I told my son when he came to stay with me that I could not wait until we get to heaven, and all of the ill will is erased, and I meet his step dad, Lee, so I could give him a warm hug and have pure and unadulterated fellowship, and I do mean that, with all of my heart.

The Kneeling Warrior

I love this chapter of 2 Timothy because it paints such a clear picture of the day that we now live in.

2 Timothy 3
1 This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come.
2 For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy,
3 Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good,
4 Traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God;
5 Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away.
6 For of this sort are they which creep into houses, and lead captive silly women laden with sins, led away with divers lusts,
7 Ever learning, and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth.
8 Now as Jannes and Jambres withstood Moses, so do these also resist the truth: men of corrupt minds, reprobate concerning the faith.
9 But they shall proceed no further: for their folly shall be manifest unto all men, as their's also was.
10 But thou hast fully known my doctrine, manner of life, purpose, faith, longsuffering, charity, patience,
11 Persecutions, afflictions, which came unto me at Antioch, at Iconium, at Lystra; what persecutions I endured: but out of them all the Lord delivered me.
12 Yea, and all that will live godly in Christ Jesus shall suffer persecution.
13 But evil men and seducers shall wax worse and worse, deceiving, and being deceived.
14 But continue thou in the things which thou hast learned and hast been assured of, knowing of whom thou hast learned them;
15 And that from a child thou hast known the holy scriptures, which are able to make thee wise unto salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus.
16 All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:
17 That the man of God may be perfect, thoroughly furnished unto all good works.

Some miss the prophesy that JESUS gave concerning our day as well.

Luke 28:27 And there followed him a great company of people, and of women, which also bewailed and lamented him.
28 But Jesus turning unto them said, Daughters of Jerusalem, weep not for me, but weep for yourselves, and for your children.
29 For, behold, the days are coming, in the which they shall say, Blessed are the barren, and the wombs that never bare, and the paps which never gave suck.
30 Then shall they begin to say to the mountains, Fall on us; and to the hills, Cover us.
31 For if they do these things in a green tree, what shall be done in the dry?

Never has there been a day that women were considered so blessed, as to not have children, as the day that we now live.
My own in-laws have put such a fear in there children, convincing them not to have children, and that this is not the day to bring children into this world.
Women at very young ages, run to the state clinics every day to have there tubes tied, and abortions, so that they are sure not to be burdened with a baby.
Often they try to talk there husbands into having a vasectomy???  
My in-laws claim to be Christians, and who am I to say different, but I do resent the things that they have pushed down my wife's, and her brothers thoughts, from a very early age, and I know that they also resent it too.
This is all a sign of the times we now live in.

          The Great Birth

I had just listened to Frank Peretti's Piercing the Darkness, on audio tape.  As I listened, a girl gives her life to CHRIST in the story.
After wards, I was thinking about it, and then suddenly THE DOOR to the spirit was opened to me (JESUS).
I then saw in a vast expanse, a great treasure, although it was very small, it was of the greatest value of anything that I could ever imagine.

It was indescribably beautiful, even from the distance from which I was standing. When I say vast expanse, I mean there was no height, and there was no depth, there was no end, or a beginning.

Laws that we experience here on earth, did not exist as we experience them, such as gravity, or time, there are no earthly terms to describe some of the things that I experienced in this vision, none that I know of anyway.
As I drew closer, I began to see mighty warring angels, they were fighting a most vicious battle, and it was fierce. 

There were both good, and evil there battling. As I drew closer to it all, I began to notice that the treasure was taking a shape of which I had not seen previously. 

It was this great treasure that was the focus of the battle.

Suddenly I could see that the treasure was the very presence of a person, but it was not just a person, it was a person who was under a great weight of turmoil, and strain.

The indescribable beauty that I had previously seen was only the image of what had made its way through a thick and gloomy cloud.

As I drew nearer still, it became more like fog, or a fine mist, I could see that the person was weeping, and most broken, as broken as I have ever seen.
It looked as though the battle was not going so well for the heavenly angels. 
I then noticed stooping next to the young lady, an angel ministering, and compassionately wiping tears away.

It seemed as though this Person had no knowledge of the angel.

However, the angel did not seem to have any concern about that, the angel only seemed concerned about the safety and well being of the person, for there was extremely great danger all around.

The war raged on more viciously than ever. 
The person then began to cry out aloud for the CHRIST of THE AGES the ANCIENT OF DAYS.
I then saw as that Name was spoken every angel good and evil seem to hear, the sound of that wonderful NAME captured the undivided attention of every one of them, which now seemed to number in the thousands or even ten thousands, the demons winced, and whimpered, hissing, as the angels eyes glistened with HOLY FIRE from ON HIGH, sudden victory now realized.
I felt the atmosphere begin to change; I could feel an awesome power moving toward me.
The awesomeness was as if standing under the water coming down from the Niagara Falls.

This power was impossible to withstand. I fell prostate in the expanse of time and space, as I watched, the expanse seem to split, and tear open, with a brightness that I had only seen once, in a dream just before I myself was born again.

I looked, and saw the angles bowed in a great awe.

Those demons, they seemed to evaporate or melt away from HIS presents.
As the LORD of GLORY drew closer, I could both feel and see HIS power, ABSOLUTELY UNDESCRIBABLE POWER. 

As HE came closer, every eye looked HIS way captivated by HIS beauty.
Then HE ever so gently, reached so very tenderly to the person, HE pulled them up into HIS ARMS. 

HE held her so lovingly, as a person might hold a tiny bird fallen from the comfort of its nest in a storm.
Then when the person cried to HIM to care for them, as they repented of there sin. I then saw a great and shining, bright light imparted to them from JESUS.
Then as this happened, the entire universe seemed to explode with praise and celebration.

I heard him speak words from the scriptures, telling her how he promised to complete the very work which HE had now begun.

HE told her that HE would never leave her nor ever forsake her.

How he would empower her to do great exploits in HIS NAME, how nations would be affected and blessed at her decision.

He told her that she would now begin a great and wondrous journey through time, but on a very narrow and traitorous path.

That she must learn to trust HIM completely.

Then he called her by a name, which was unknown by any in heaven or on the earth.

Great trumpets began to sound the victory, as a great book appeared and a name was then written therein.
Beautiful melodies began to resound through the universe, in perfect harmony, the sound of which this earth's people cannot fathom.

It would absolutely melt us.

An aroma of the sweetest perfume, a million fragrances not known to the natural man, filled the expanse.

I suddenly came to understand the meaning of "the KINGDOM of HEAVEN is at hand".

As I looked I came to understand that I was standing in that place, all of the angels, and the person, and the CHRIST, were still there. Yet I could see the most beautiful scenery mountains, and grass of the most beautiful green, flowers of colors that we cannot imagine.

There was no darkness, and yet every star seemed to give a bow, to what took place there.

Every flower turned to acknowledge the great work that had just taken place.
Then just as quickly as I entered though that DOOR I was suddenly back in the same place that it started.

I found that it seemed as though no time had passed.

This is what I believe the LORD would have me to understand from this:

That there is no greater value on the earth, than a human spirit, and the soul it encompasses.
The next time you meet an unsaved person, it is my hope that you will not see them the same as you did before you received what I just shared with you.

As well, I never saw them the same from that day forward.

This vision was given to me freely so do with it as you wish.
