i got a text on friday from a friend i hadn't spoke to in a long while. turns out that this friend i went to school with in junior high is now pregnant and is giving birth in january; i congratulated her but was just kinda shocked on the inside; my friend is pregnant!

and thats when i realized that we're not young and innocent anymore; some of us have already turned 18; i'll be reaching that milestone in a few short months. and thats it; we're growing up and we can't stop;; and it scares me a little bit; that in less than 9 months i'll be done with my 13 year paid-for education and i'll be heading off to college. it scares me to know that i'll be expected way more than i'm expected of now; and it scares me because i don't know if i'll be able to do it all :/

i've mostly learned that we can't take this short life for granted; because we do sometimes and thats when life hits us the hardest;
