a new song has been posted, and you were probably expecting something different. I don't blame you if you're a little dissapointed but I'm honestly getting so sick of the music scene these days, where everything is so over produced and so serious. We are unfortunately apart of that, and I am in the process of writing one of those "over produced serious" records that is hoping to be released in the 08 .. but for now to hold myself and anybody else who cares over, we will release songs that I enjoy writing and recording.

I'm getting weary to all of the competition that is going around in music. Music is supposed to be an art of the soul and mind, and we ruin that with bullshit competition. There are so many incredibly talented bands out there who won't get their break because of the bands who's goal is to get a quote of their song on somebody's myspace page. Because of the "artist" that add people all day long but won't accept other bands or support them to make sure that their on top. Our goals these days are popularity and I'm learning the hard way, that when your goal in life is to be a rock star, you hit rock bottom and never work your way back up.

WE HAVE ONE GUARUNTEE IN LIFE, AND THERE'S NO WAY AROUND IT .. THAT WE ALL DIE ..There's no guaruntee that we're gonna get a sweet record deal, or write a good song that get's aired, or score with the homecoming queen at school. Why live the one life we have trying to bring people down so we can "outshine" them. It's all bullshit.

Don the Dad is a song that looks on the happy side of life which is something that I think we fail to do. God gives joy, love, and happiness, and all we can do is compete with everyone. We're going to continue to post songs that don't really make sense to the music scene in this day and age because that's who we are. We're just goofy dudes that want to love people and hang out and this stupid ass world makes us feel dumb for wanting that, and if you think we're lame for it, then go listen to a band that cares, cause we don't.

In less than a week, Christmas day will be here, and we will all be getting new things, what a day it will be. Now usually, we all wake up, get the gifts, hang with Family, and then get on the computer for the remainder of the day, am I right? eh? .. So while you're surfin the net stop by your good ole Boomer friends and take a listen to a fresh new tune. We also will be announcing some sweet news that you all might be anticipating, which MIGHT get you goin if you know what I mean.

So yeah, we all hope you have an amazing holiday, and hope that we can in some way build your trust and friendship.

Today we leave for our first venture outside of Nashville. I can't say that we're not nervous, but I think that's what makes this kind of thing so exciting. I believe that we have a couple of thank you's to address, because without these people, we would be if we aren't already the lamest band around and wouldn't have a demo, pictures, sweet clothes, a bass player, cool hair, a van to tour in or a sound system . Big thanks to Ryan Rado, Bryan Crawford, Steve Wilson, Neil Visel, The Class of 98, Amanda at Cognito, Lalie Kuvalich, Mallory<3, Fuzz Dilly, Derek Deeds, Russell Hickman, and anybody who's been helpin get this fun shiz together. We still have a long way to go, but would be nothing at all without all of you!

Also, if you're planning on coming to our shows this week, we cannot wait to hang .. we've been waiting to get out of here for quite some time, and will be blessed to see all of you! If you don't know if these shows are near you, here are the dates!
