Ta beauté a captivé mon attention ... Par votre intelligance, mon esprit est lié de chaînes et d'écluses, Et par votre cœur, vous avez jeté la clé.
Il est tout à cause de vous ...
To capture the true atmosphere of this poem, it must be read in french, but here is the translation...
It is all because of you… Each morning, I notice the melody of the bluebird’s song. The scent of roses in my garden, smell sweeter than ever before. I have discovered new beauty in the sun casting light across the sea.
It is all because of you… My senses are heightened, my joy evident to those who look upon me. My patience, my endurance, and life’s value have all increased. although I have seen my face every day of my life, I have rediscovered me.
It is all because of you… Your beauty has captivated my attention… By your intellect, my mind is bound in chains and locks, And by your heart, you have thrown away the key.
It is all because of you…
-Dedicated To Terrany R. Ward -

Can’t you see?
Everybody wants out this gutter, it’s in our nature to want more… we’re all tired of scraping at the bottom, and eating scraps from their floor. Why can’t our children have the best teachers, the best schools, clean streets… Why we have to struggle so hard, just to make our ends meet? See, everybody has dreams, no matter how small or how great and some or trying to reach them in spite of the choices they make.
But can’t you see? It a consequence that follows every decision that’s why we, make up over 85% percent of convictions…
Can’t you see… we are the last on the list, at the back of the bus in a society where cash rules everything around us. Cuz when it comes down to the bottom line, we just aint got enough… so if you family is broke, or you from here here… you just out of luck… At least that’s what they bankin’ on… can’t you see? cuz if you got the drive to thrive, they’ve put a plan inside for you and me… An easy way to change our today, but they hope you don’t see… when they catch you slippin, lock you up, and then throw away the key… If you aint sellin you usin, trying to escape this tragic reality… either way they don’t expect for us to rise up from these streets. Can’t you see… the truth is loud and clear and it’s right before your eyes… everytime we put fire to this substance we inhale genocide… It’s not even about black and white, this is all about status cuz it done snatched the whitest of white on to blackest of blackest. The hood is just practice, it’s a much grander scheme eliminating any one trying to achieve this false dream… can’t you see? When the stocks on my very life or worth more locked up than free privatizing, commercializing, this is modern day slavery…
oh, yes, we talkin free labor, we talkin selling and trading… all the while our very existence is steadily fading… can’t you see? It’s high time we opened up our eyes and faced the truth cuz in a minute its gone be over, by that time… what’s the use? Can’t you see?

Here I am… Giving to you all that’s worth giving, for you have made my whole life worth living. My heart, my love, my body, my mind… My faith, my fears, my trust, my time… You’ve given to me this gift of you, so I give you myself, in all that is true I don’t need the fortunes, and perks of this life I’d trade it for you, and wouldn’t think twice Just having you near me, is more than enough but when it comes to you, I can’t get enough… I need you, I breathe you, I love you, adore you, and when I’m with you all that I want is more you. So here I am… Returning the love that you’ve given to me, the best that I have, I’m now driven to be. not for moments, or years, but eternity my love is my gift I give eternally May it never run dry no matter the years with my hand in yours, I can face any fears we’ve been through the thick and been through the thin but this day, our journey will truly begin No matter what comes or goes, or how the wind blows when life is uncertain, there’s one thing you’ll know when the darkness is looming, when it’s hard to stand, You can look to your side, forever I am - Dedicated to James and Olivia. – May JAH smile on your lives and your union be blessed forever

Is the Use of Marijuana a sin?
This should be interesting, I really want to get everyone’s opinions on this. Everyone has heard the speeches and lectures of why it IS wrong, and it IS a sin, so I am going to focus on the contrary and let you make an educated decision on your own, but doing it without making this a novel will be the challenge =)
First, the facts about Cannabis itself: The fact is, Cannabis (Marijuana) has been used as medicine, food, and as an intoxicant since the records of history. Má, the Mandarin word for hemp. In China, has been shown to go back at least 10,000 years. The plant has been used as a clean alternative fuel, fibers from the plant can be used as paper pulp, to make clothing, fabric, plastics, and even the parachutes used in the military have been constructed from the hemp plant. Its personal uses range from smoking, to using the oil from the seeds, being boiled into liquid form as a tea, and actually eating the plant itself just like any other herb.
Cannabis has been proven to treat or cure just about every disease known, from eczema to cancer, and with absolutely no harmful side effects. The prescribed use of pharmaceutical drugs claim over 100,000 lives every year, while there has never been a recorded fatality directly caused by cannabis.
"In 1936 Sula Benet (a.k.a. Sara Benetowa), a Polish etymologist from the Institute of Anthropological Sciences in Warsaw stated that: "In the original Hebrew text of the Old Testament there are references to hemp, both as incense, which was an integral part of religious celebration, and as an intoxicant"(Benet 1975). Through comparative etymological study, Bennett documented that in the Old Testament and in its Aramaic translation, the Targum Onculos, hemp is referred to as kaneh bosm, which is also rendered in traditional Hebrew as kannabos or kannabus. The root "kan" in this construction means "reed" or "hemp", while "bosm" means "aromatic".
This word appeared in:
Exodus 30:23, “Take the finest spices: 121/2 pounds of powdered myrrh; half as much, that is, 61/4 pounds of fragrant cinnamon; 61/4 pounds of fragrant cane;”
Song of Songs 4:14, “nard and saffron, calamus and cinnamon, with every kind of incense tree, with myrrh and aloes and all the finest spices.”
Isaiah 43:24, “You have not bought any fragrant calamus for me, or lavished on me the fat of your sacrifices. But you have burdened me with your sins and wearied me with your offenses.”
Jeremiah 6:20, “What do I care about incense from Sheba or sweet calamus from a distant land? Your burnt offerings are not acceptable; your sacrifices do not please me."
Ezekiel 27:19. “Danites and Greeks from Uzal bought your merchandise; they exchanged wrought iron, cassia and calamus for your wares”
In 1980 the Hebrew University in Israel confirmed Benet's identification of Kaneh-Bosm as hemp, and the respected anthropologist Weston La Barre(1980) referred to the Biblical references in an essay on cannabis."
Besides this references, there are a few other things that can be interpreted with Cannabis consumption:
Genesis 1.29: "God said, "See, I give you every seed-bearing plant that is upon all the earth, and every tree that has seed-bearing fruit; they shall be yours for food."
Psalm 104:14-15: "He causeth the grass to grow for the cattle and herb for the service of man: that he may bring forth food out of the earth; And wine that maketh glad the heart of man and oil to make his face to shineth."
Is. 18:4-5: "The Lord said unto me, "I will take my rest and I will consider in my dwelling place like a clear heat upon herbs, and like a cloud of dew in the heat of harvest. For afore the harvest, when the bud is perfect and the sour grape is ripening in the flower, he shall cut off the sprigs with pruning hooks and take away and cut down the branches."
Ezekiel 34:29: "And I will raise up for them a plant of renown, and they shall be no more consumed with hunger in the land, neither bear the shame of the heathen any more."
Romans 14: 2,3,13,14,17: "One believeth that he may eat all things. Another...eateth herbs. ... Let us not, therefore judge one another any more: but judge this rather, that no man put a stumbling block or an occasion to fall in his brother's way. I know, and am persuaded by the Lord Jesus, that there is nothing unclean of itself: but to him that esteemeth anything to be unclean, to him it is unclean. For the kingdom of God is not meat and drink; but righteousness and peace and joy in the Holy Ghost."
Rev. 22:1-2: "And he showed me a pure river of water of life, clear as crystal, proceeding out of the throne of God and of the Lamb. In the midst of the street of it, and on either side of the river, was there the tree of life, which bare twelve manner of fruits, and yielding her fruit every month; and the leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations." Acts 10: 14-16: "Surely not, Lord!" Peter replied. "I have never eaten anything impure or unclean." The voice spoke to him a second time, "Do not call anything impure that God has made clean." This happened three times, and immediately the sheet was taken back to heaven.” So here is the breakdown and possible arguements:
Most of these scriptures talk about eating an herb for food, not smoking weed… True, other than the references of incense, it talks about eating the herb. If you were to use marijuana, smoking it is only one of the ways to use it, doctors will recommend using a vaporizer, or digesting the oil or the herb itself to minimize any smoke inhalation. When you smoke weed, you are inhaling smoke, so it is not the marijuana itself that is harmful, but the fact you are inhaling smoke… It doesn’t matter if you burn pork chops, it will have the same effect.
So would smoking weed be a sin? Well, that is the topic of the discussion, I will say that Bible says this: It is not what goes into a man that defiles him, but what comes out. To each his own, but as with anything, whatever you do it should be done in moderation, from eating, to sleeping, to even drinking water… If you are going to smoke weed, don’t be glutton with yours. Lol
You say no one has ever died from using marijuana, but what if someone gets high and goes and gets in a car accident and dies? Well, I would have to say that person was a big dummy… would you take a pain killer and go drive somewhere? How about a sleeping pill? In this case, marijuana didn’t kill anyone, stupidity killed someone, who knows how many people die every year from stupidity (anyone got a statistic on that for me?) And again, use discretion, you do not have to get zooted off your behind to reap the medicinal and nutritional benefits of cannabis. Everything in moderation, as we know, gluttony IS a sin, no matter what it is.
Here is the bottom line, if hundreds of thousands of people are dying from synthetic drugs, I am all for a safer alternative, how many people die every year from asprin??? I don’t know, but I do know that Each year, use of NSAIDs (Non-Steroidal Anti-Inflammatory Drugs) accounts for an estimated 7,600 deaths and 76,000 hospitalizations in the United States. What if My Friend Keydra would have been able to use marijuana before dying from cancer? Even if it didn’t cure her cancer, it would have at least helped her to tolerate the symptoms of chemo, and she may still be here with us today…
so am I for Marijuana use, my vote is yes. But not ONLY for cannabis, but anything that can be done naturally and safely. Am I for full legalization of it? Of course, but I do fear what would happen once it became a commercial product, it is perfect in its natural state, it does not need any fillers, synthetics, or chemicals added to it like they do everything else. Some people may not agree with me, but I am an advocate for the use of cannabis, and honestly given the facts, not what they told us in school, I don’t see how anyone could be against it, but if you are, I want to hear your view, this should be an interesting discussion, I can’t wait to hear what you have to say. LOVE YOU ALL =)

HERE ARE THE FACTS, most of this comes from Wikipedia, you can skip this part if you want, but if you have time, I suggest reading it, it is very interesting, you may even want to look it up as I omitted a great deal of info for your sake (wink) In a 2002 review of medical literature, medical cannabis was shown to have established effects in the treatment of nausea, vomiting, premenstrual syndrome, unintentional weight loss, and lack of appetite. Other "relatively well-confirmed" effects were in the treatment of "spasticity, painful conditions, especially neurogenic pain, movement disorders, asthma, [and] Glaucoma".[9] Other studies have shown cannabis or cannabinoids to be useful in treating alcohol abuse,[18] attention-deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD or AD/HD)[19][20] amyotrophic lateral sclerosis,[21][22][23] collagen-induced arthritis,[24] rheumatoid arthritis,[25] asthma,[26] atherosclerosis,[27] autism,[28][29] bipolar disorder,[30][31] childhood mental disorders,[32] colorectal cancer,[33] depression,[34][35][36][37] diabetic retinopathy,[38][39] dystonia,[40][41] epilepsy,[42][43] digestive diseases,[44][45] gliomas,[46][47] hepatitis C,[48][49] Huntington's disease,[50] hypertension,[51][52] urinary incontinence,[53] leukemia,[54] skin tumors,[55] morning sickness,[56][57] methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus (MRSA),[58][59] Parkinson's disease,[60] pruritus,[61][62] posttraumatic stress disorder (PTSD),[63][64][65] sickle-cell disease,[66] and sleep apnea. Research done by the Scripps Research Institute in California shows that the active ingredient in marijuana, THC, prevents the formation of deposits in the brain associated with Alzheimer's disease. THC was found to prevent an enzyme called acetylcholinesterase from accelerating the formation of "Alzheimer plaques" in the brain more effectively than commercially marketed drugs. THC is also more effective at blocking clumps of protein that can inhibit memory and cognition in Alzheimer’s patients, as reported in Molecular Pharmaceutics
THC has been found to reduce tumor growth in common lung cancer by 50 percent and to significantly reduce the ability of the cancer to spread, say researchers at Harvard University, who tested the chemical in both lab and mouse studies. The researchers suggest that THC might be used in a targeted fashion to treat lung cancer.[69] In 2006, Donald Tashkin, of the University of California in Los Angeles, presented the results of his study, Marijuana Use and Lung Cancer: Results of a Case-Control Study. Tashkin found that smoking marijuana does not appear to increase the risk of lung cancer or head-and-neck malignancies, even among heavy users. The more tobacco a person smoked, the greater their risk of developing lung cancer and other cancers of the head and neck. But people who smoked more marijuana were not at increased risk compared with people who smoked less and people who didn’t smoke at all.[70] Marijuana use was associated with cancer risk ratios below 1.0, indicating that a history of pot smoking had no effect on the risk for respiratory cancers. In contrast, tobacco smoking had a 21-fold risk for cancer. Tashkin concluded, "It's possible that tetrahydrocannabinol (THC) in marijuana smoke may encourage apoptosis, or programmed cell death, causing cells to die off before they have a chance to undergo malignant transformation".[71][72] Wan Tan presented a study at the American Thoracic Society 2007 International Conference showing that smoking marijuana and tobacco together more than tripled the risk of developing Chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) over just smoking tobacco alone.[73] Similar findings were released in April 2009 by the Vancouver Burden of Obstructive Lung Disease Research Group. The study presents that smoking both tobacco and marijuana synergistically increased the risk of respiratory symptoms and COPD. Smoking only marijuana, however, was not associated with an increased risk of respiratory symptoms of COPD.[74][75] In a related commentary, Tashkin writes, "…we can be close to concluding that marijuana smoking by itself does not lead to COPD". According to a 2007 study at the California Pacific Medical Center Research Institute, cannabidiol (CBD) may stop breast cancer from spreading throughout the body.[77] The scientists believe[weasel words] their discovery may provide a non-toxic alternative to chemotherapy while achieving the same results minus the painful and unpleasant side effects. The research team says that CBD works by blocking the activity of a gene called Id-1, which is believed to be responsible for a process called metastasis, which is the aggressive spread of cancer cells away from the original tumor site.
Investigators at Columbia University published clinical trial data in 2007 showing that HIV/AIDS patients who inhaled cannabis four times daily experienced substantial increases in food intake with little evidence of discomfort and no impairment of cognitive performance. They concluded that smoked marijuana has a clear medical benefit in HIV-positive patients.[78][79] In another study in 2008, researchers at the University of California, San Diego School of Medicine found that marijuana significantly reduces HIV-related neuropathic pain when added to a patient's already-prescribed pain management regimen and may be an "effective option for pain relief" in those whose pain is not controlled with current medications. Mood disturbance, physical disability, and quality of life all improved significantly during study treatment.[80] Despite management with opioids and other pain modifying therapies, neuropathic pain continues to reduce the quality of life and daily functioning in HIV-infected individuals. Cannabinoid receptors in the central and peripheral nervous systems have been shown to modulate pain perception. No serious adverse effects were reported, according to the study published by the American Academy of Neurology&l

I don’t know how to feel, momma… I don’t know what to say? I try to smile sometimes, but I just can’t make it stay… I know it’s been a while, but I don’t understand, why did he do it, what did I do to them? All I ever did was love, all I ever did was laugh… but now I can’t see today, through this stain in my past. Sometimes I just wonder, is this even real? Why did he do it momma, how come he doesn’t feel? Did someone hurt him? How do I forgive? Was he angry at me, was it something I did? There are so many questions, I just don’t understand, I find it so hard now, to trust any man. Momma, please don’t cry, don’t shed any tears, I know I’ll find healing in each passing year. I know you never meant for him to hurt me like this, but I need your strength now, to get us through this. Because in the end, our life we must live… so I need your strength, teach me to forgive. I promise to grow, through this hurt and pain and reach for the sunshine, like a flower in the rain.

I want to show you something, I’m just not sure if you’re ready… Ready for me flooding over your nature like compromised levees. Exciting and reviving your inner being to a state of ecstasy yet to be seen, injecting everything, every ounce of my passion and rapture seizing your reason, and taking your consciousness capture… completely becoming intertwined in your scruples, as I dive, and survive in the abyss of your pupils. imprisoning your mortality through unchained sensuality bringing every thought and fantasy to blissful reality unreal this may seem, as you live out your dreams through this encounter we travel down unchartered streams until you reach the point of unsurpassable satisfaction… aroused by your reaction, slowly making my extraction...
and when we finish talking, who knows what will be next?

The 33rd floor I wonder what it must look like, looking down from on high from the pinnacle of supremacy, through your all seeing eye… Unknowing sheep thrive to contribute to your supply, weather dead or alive, we’re still giving our life. Paid in full from our birth we’ve been stamped with your worth, as a commodity, an addition to your ever growing girth. Nothing more than a numerological face to a curse inherited at birth, and passed down at the hurse… I wonder what it must be like, to see with no light, while the masses are blinded you see through the night. with secrets to wisdom endowed with your right, all laws and opinions are made with your might. not money, in your world, this does not exist only power, for money is truly worthless just a tender, with nothing to prove it exists just a word saying unum, e pluribis One coming from many, and many make one but how does it feel being born of the sun? How does it feel knowing all of life’s truths, while everyone else, only knows your lie’s truths? Fabricating reality, and man’s own mentality I wonder how it must feel to emrace immortality? to pass over as an angel, smiting all who oppose and to feel no remorse, or to have any woes… I wonder how it must look from the 33rd floor looking down on myself… not even knowing what I am living for…

Tonight I am going to cry…
I am going to let my pain and my sorrows manifest themselves into salty drops of redemption… they shall purchase my liberation and my freedom from this weight that has until this point… Crushed my very spirit. I am going to cry… I will spill these tears like alcohol from a bottle as a respect for the dead I will allow this flowing stream to rush through my mind and purify me of my oppression.
My transgressions, my imperfections… Everything that has made me not good enough for whatever it is that I need to be I release it into this rushing rapid of despair to be washed away into a sea of forgetfulness. Tonight I am going to forgive… As this precious nectar of my soul escapes the orifice of my eye… it introduces a new chapter of my existence, I shall therefore never forget… The last tear…

I can’t help but wonder, would you mind if I stay? Would you mind if I told you all I have to say? How I’ve longed for your touch, to be here face to face, how, if I could, I would never leave your warm embrace. For your skin against mine is like petals from a rose, one touch sends a shiver from my head to my toes. Your lips dripping nectar as a soft ripened peach, Just a moment with you makes my pain obsolete. The softness of your body, like bathing in silk, your sweetness like rivers of honey and milk. With each breath I take in I inhale your sweet scent, and I’m closer to heaven with each moment spent. If you had any idea what was now on my mind, with such passion I can’t find the words to describe. So how can I express, what I’m feeling inside, without being consumed by this fire that abides? For you I would give all the Love I posses, cross oceans and journey for years without rest. But yet I must keep all these feelings contained, try to hold back the passion and suppress the flames. I can’t help but wonder if you see through my lies, if you see the truth when you look in my eyes. Each moment gets harder to keep it confined, but I must, for the reality that you are not mine…
Do you feel what I feel? I just can’t help but wonder, if you hide your own truth for you belong to another.

Look at me… Let me get lost in the depth of your eyes… let me admire the masterful genius of GOD. In all of my days, and all that I’ve seen, never have I seen such beauty… I’ve watched the waves of the sea crash against rocky shores as the setting sun’s warm hues dance a ballet over them. I’ve seen lush green meadows peppered with blossoms from spring’s gift of colorful enchantment. Waterfalls rhythmically cascading through mountains surrounded by nature’s most prized illustrations. I’ve looked down on the earth from beyond the clouds, and I’ve seen rainbows peer through the mist of blue falls Even the sea from atop a cliff as sunlight casts her reflection across the surface like a billion sparkling diamonds and beneath the surface, as tiny inhabitants swim about , clothed in colors of an artist’s pallet against a backdrop of purest blue From golden leaves swaying in an autumn breeze, to a starry night where a moons glow illuminates a frost covered ground. I have seen landscapes that stop your very breath yes, I have seen many of the wonders that this world has to offer But none of this, my love, can even come close… to rival the beauty before me in this very moment. Look at me… Let me explore the details of your making, for the very curve of your lips holds more beauty than the hills. Your cheeks make snow covered mountains appear as ruin, and your eyes hold more beauty than the sea in all its glory. The form of your body lay to waste any thing I have seen in nature and your soul reflects the very image of GOD himself… Look at me… and let me get lost in your beauty yet again.

The Door - Dedicated to Jazzie- I’ve been standing here… for what it seems an eternity, knocking and knocking while this loneliness burns in me. I wonder is anyone here? Or do they just chose to ignore, or at least acknowledge that I’m here at this door. I sit at the steps and question, maybe they couldn’t hear, they could be in the shower not knowing I’m here… I look out to the street just to give it more time, watching the people as they’re passing me by. How could this world be so crowded and I feel so alone, with all of these faces I feel so unknown. wishing that someone would stop to “hi” or at least, if I could just catch someone’s eye. I am desperate for acknowledgement, just to know I’m alive but no one even glances as they keep passing by. in my frustration I stand and knock more than before making sure that they hear me out here at this door I pound and I pound, but to no avail yet, turning back to the street I am filled with regret… I have been here so long that the streets are now empty a reflection of the person that is crying within me darkness has fallen and I stand here alone not even sure if I can find my way home Life has passed me be while I stood at these steps my loneliness mocks me with the sound of my breath Breathing… Then my eyes open up to an alternate scene, I realize in this moment, it was only a dream. Though the feelings may linger, I’ve stood in my mind, I WILL NOT stand around and let life pass me by. I will live, I will love, no longer wait at this door…
I will get up and go get what life has in store
This poem is dedicated to my Good Friend Jazzie – in case you may have missed it, the door represents a person, or a relationship, but it can have other applications, so it may apply to you in a different way… =) Hope you enjoy

I wanted to try something new, well at least new to me... I had alot of fun with this though... I hope it's not too deep... Let me know what you get out of it... remember this: there is more than meets the eye.
- The Parallel Dimension of Love - (subliminal propaganda)
The Earth has not seen such a beauty as yours Like open waters given to her rocky shores Like the sweet melody that birds sing to me Her Voice sweeter than fruit fresh from the tree Her eyes sparkle and gleam like a twlight sky GOD has sculpted her form with an artful eye her smile has given me an idea of His artistry and shown favor on me with this gift He’s imparted me His masterpiece is healing for my soul her beauty and my love with each moment grow being next to her is like lying in Eden’s meadows deep within her embrace brings death to my sorrows Every peace of my heart is now captivated and every emotion of mine has been elevated but I am not to resist, love’s apprehension I’ll savor each moment in this parallel dimension

I give you the benefit cuz I know something aint right??? trying to fight past your mindsets and show you some light… and it’s throwed cuz when you with me, you know you was trippin… but then all of a sudden I’M the reason that your life aint worth livin??? the source of all the stress that you feelin, all the dirt in your life… If you can move me out the way, then you’ll be free from all strife. Woman is you crazy???do you even hear what’s commin’ out your mouth??? Sometimes I wish you would just twist up a fat one so you could chill out… All I do try to bring you joy through all the bitterness you taste but you keep spittin all the love I give right back in my face… so now we both some dysfunctional summaguns, cuz I’m still here most cats woulda bounced way back a many of years… they say its insaine to do the same thangs and expect it to change I just be hopin this time you got it, and we can get on with thangs… cuz I know I aint perfect, I gotta long list of dung but how we ever gonna move forward if we stay on square one??? I can’t be this fantasy man girl this here the real world… wake up be a woman, stop actin like a lil girl… you gonna face some type of drama everyday of your life but it’s how you react that’s gonna make it wrong or make it all right… so pop you a couple Prozac, do something with yourself cuz this skitzophrenic nonsense bout to have you all by yourself… I’m just sayin…
