Important update for Tomorrow Now!
For those of you panting with avarice at the release of our first "true" album, your wait is going to be a wee bit extended.
Due to many concerns (capital, schedules, life in general), the release date of Tomorrow Now has been postponed indefinitely. What is not indefinite is that we are actively working on a great album that is geared for release as soon as we can muster.
The brass tacks of this situation goes as such; we utterly refuse to release a shoddy product. It is most definitely within our capacity to quickly finish the final tracks, mix them even more quickly, master little, burn Memorex CD-R's of the material and slap on inkjet, peel-off sticker CD labels and try to hawk that. That's just not acceptable to us. We want to bring you a well-mixed, well-mastered album with great artwork, artisty, design and concept; all with professional presentation, as well.
Were the perils of modern, domestic life taken out of the picture, this album would be done by now. In order to devote the time necessary to making this album as much of a masterpiece as we can make of it, these ends need to be tended to. We ask that you not lose hope during this trying process. We want this thing to rock just as much as you need it to, folks. It is our solemn promise.
As Mr. Lennon once said, "Life is what happens when you're busy making other plans."

Hello everyone.
Meddle hasn't done too many blogs but I think it's time to keep everybody a little more updated.
The shows have been going good. Mike and Meryl are great musicians and pick the songs up quickly. But for now we're going to be slowing down shows, practicing more and hammering out the hard technical songs. We want to be as tight as possible for you guys...give you an more excellent show. We will still be playing....probably once a month or so. When we start back up "full time" we will have most excellent merch for you to purchase. Everything from a new full band EP to shirts to stickers, to well....whatever we can get to you. Maybe we should bring the Meddle tote bag back, what do you think? Perhaps you folks have some merch ideas. If you do, we would love to hear them. Keep us posted!
We might have a second guitarist as well. Here's to hoping. What we would like to do is get a second guitarist AND keyboardist. It's all about the live experience. The closer we can get to the "fullness" to the albums, the better for all of you. So if you're in the FM area and play keys, let us know...hell...you don't even need to be that good! Just let us know. Our next show (and the only one so far in July) is July 14th at "Nedgefest". We will be among the enormous list of bands playing with Facecage. I hope to see you all there. The list of bands is on our myspace. So if you see one that you're familiar with and like...go see them. Support your local music scene!
Thanks for reading, and we'll keep you updated on everything Meddle.
Topher
PS A big shoutout to Ken. Thanks man.

Good Day to you wonderful folks who read this Blog. Leiland Moore & the Scene, in a very short time, will be no more. Scare ya? Huh? Well....it's true! There will be a name change. We have decided to go back to the former name "Meddle". Due to the change in style of music, we would like to have a name we don't feel is too "poppy" Plus we need to pay homage to the wonderful folks in Pink Floyd. If you haven't listened to that album....you've never lived! We've been playing a lot of the old material from Meddle, and it's been going somewhat well. So for all you Meddlers out there who used to follow us, and hounded us to keep the name...you got your wish. Chris

To those of you loyal enough to visit the site or to even read these blogs,...here are some updates on the world of Leiland Moore & the Scene. We are in the process of writing a song for an Indie film called "Meaner". Charles Hinton, the writer/director had some lyrics, and a melody for one of the scenes, but not any actual music. He asked us to write the music for it and it's coming along nicely. Make sure to check out the local film festivals. It's going to be a great short film. (If you've seen the first one than how can it not be). There are also talks of a musical in the near future....so keep your eyes and ears open.

Hey, everybody. Well, this is our first blog entry, like, ever. I guess I should give you a lowdown on what's going on in the world of Leiland Moore & the Scene. A, dare I say, "insider look" into one of the greatest, most popular rock groups amongst seniors! Well, nearly every Tuesday, Chris and I can be found at the Sidestreet Bar & Grille. Starting at around 10 P.M. the striking songstress, Beth Lucille Black, rips it up like the chanteuse we know her to be. Afterwards, talent starts to get up and then, literally, the building sets ablaze with rock! Go just because such cool people hang there, seriously. Secondly, we often find ourselves at the Red Raven Espresso Parlour on Roberts St. here in sunny Fargo. That's a Wednesday, for you would-be visitors. A little more reserved, but it's not a bar, so minors are welcome.....VERY welcome. Ha, ha....just kidding, parents! Anyway, finally, our real rock teeth are being cut every Sunday at the House of Rock in Playmaker's. The band, Training Wheels, hosts a jovial evening of decadent bliss. It's part Ded Walleye and part $3 Molly but all face-melting rock and or roll. Butter, the soundman, is quite adept, by the by. If that's any consolation. It rules. Drums, a riser....the works. Lights and fog, too! Anyhoozits, no covers for any of these things. I'm not saying we're ALWAYS found at these places, but we often are. We're still very bandless at this time. We've entertained numerous prospects for various positions, but alas, all have fallen short of the goal. But, on a brighter note, we've been working on a ballad-esque song for an independent film, titled "Meaner". So far, so good. Plus, more visual/audial media-crossing works ahead, by the sounds of it. More as more develops. Peace out, me buckos!
Bud
