a little note to inform you that PIAS will release a 'Singles and Rarities' + 'live in Brussels, Paris & Hamburg' album by An Pierlé & White Velvet.

The 'singles and rarities' part comprises all radio edits of the singles throughout the years + some extra's like 'Are friends electric', the much sought after legendary recording of An's very debut (a cover of a Gary Numan song), and of course 'Mud Stories' from An's the solo debut, a remix of 'Tower' and also 'As sudden tears fall', 'Sing Song Sally', 'Jupiter', 'How does it feel' etc. and then there's this strange, never released song like 'Mary's had a baby' - currently the single for this compilation...
The second cd in the package is appropriately entitled 'Live in Brussels, Hamburg and Paris'. And that's exactly what it is: live recordings from the past two years tours throughout Europe, in all it's sweetness AND roughness. At last there's a live document for our fans.

The 'Singles and Rarities'/'Live in Brussels, Hamburg and Paris' will be released in Benelux in November '08, however, a French and German release will follow in February '09.

Hello all,
Just to notify you that we're taking part in a project called "La Bande Originale". It's a special concert, instigated by the fantastic french festival Les Eurockéennes for their 20Tth birthday, with notorious french musicians like Seb Martel, Vincent Ségal, Cyril Atef etc. And of course, lots of guests: An Pierlé and Koen Gisen, Olivia Ruiz, Camille, Arno, Nosfell, Daniel D'Arc etc. covering some favourite songs by other artists.

Try-out is at La Cartonnerie in Reims (F) on July 3rd,
the actual show is at Les Eurockéennes in Belfort (F) on July 4th.

As some of you specifically requested, we've finally added the new song "Eldorado" to the Myspace player. You can find the videoclip somewhere in the middle of the page as well as in the blog-section. "Eldorado" is the title song we've made for Belgian director Bouli Lanners' new, and in the meantime, critically acclaimed movie... "Eldorado". Bouli's film was selected for the Quinzaine des Réalisateurs in Cannes and got three awards. The movie was released in France earlier this week
