Well Hey EVERYBODY! Just thought I would give everbody an update so I only have to do it once. Most everyone knows whats up with us but I know there are still some of you who don't.

The first part of July, OJ, Wyatt and I moved back to Washington! We left Idaho to be closer to family and friends. The move took forever, you don't realize how much stuff you have till you move! We've been staying with my mom to help save some money to buy a house. Our family has got to spend alot of time together, we have even got to spend about 2 weeks with ojs family which is more than we've done in the last 2 years so that was kinda nice.

We went to the Benton-Franklin fair everyday to support my sister and a few of the other kids. Wyatt loved it! He loves cows and is right underneath them if you don't watch.

OJ has started working for Monsanto for corn harvest running a picker. He has to work 7 days a week but it is really good money so I think I can live with it! He is going to hopefully work into a Seed Tech-full time position. I started classes to get my CDL, so I can drive school bus part time and make a little extra cash. I am also going to start school winter quarter at CBC. I want to get my dental assistant license and then work on dental hygiene requirements. I'm excited for both of us and our opportunities. (If you are in the Othello-Connell area call me, I will be there for the next 6 weeks with OJ).

Yesterday, Sunday the 7th, we had a combo bday party for Wyatt and his cousin Pepper and my uncle Ken. There were lots of people, lots of food, and lots of presents. (pictures to come soon!) We had a great time and it was a great way to celebrate birthdays.

OJ started work on Friday but harvest officially starts on Wednesday. Sucks he won't be home for Wyatts actual birthday but he won't know the difference!

Wyatt has also acquired many "favorite girls". He loves little blonde girls, and we know quiet a few so he is happy to see his girls at the fair, or when he goes to see Carmen, down the road. He is getting so big and my baby is already gonna be 1 on Wednesday.

Well I think that catches everyone up! Hope everyone else is doing good and had a great summer. I know we did!

And always remember, "know the facts before you start talking about something"

Category: Romance and Relationships

I've seen every kind of relationship I think there is. The marriage of convenience, to the cheating, to the best anyone could ask for. Alot of them I don't understand.

I was completely oblivious to what was happening with my parents till they finally told us. That was the hardest time in my life. I couldn't understand why, or why my mom was so civil about it. As time goes on she is still just as civil and never says anything bad about my dad. I don't understand him, and have a hard time keeping him involved, if he doesn't make the effort either. I may be wrong in doing that but it's just hard.

I've seen the women who stay in a relationship because they don't think they can make it without him. That is the biggest lie they have ever told themselves. I learned my lesson early. I didn't need a guy around. I didn't want to be tied to someone.

I graduated November 2, 2005. A month before I turned 18. I worked for the next month on the ranch. I wanted to move out so bad and I didn't really have a place to go but I knew I needed to get out. So I moved to Kennewick with my cousin, a week after I turned 18. Got a job at Ranch & Home.  I worked my butt off, paid my own bills, and did my own thing. I met a ton of new people, did things I shouldn't have, and learned life lessons. I know I wouldn't be the person I am today if I hadn't done my own thing and made the decisions I did. The next June I had gone through a couple bad relationships and break ups. I met OJ and didn't think anything about it. That night we spent together though, everything just fell into place. I didn't want to leave him. We were so good together. A couple nights a week we would go ride whatever horses he had training at that time, and then go lay in bed and watch movies. I rode one of his horses for the first time since he had gotten him. That's how much he trusted me.

A friend of mine told me awhile back that she thinks in Gods eyes, we have been married since we started dating. Which if you look at it, it makes sense. We didn't need the paper to tell us. I piece of paper isn't anything, except a document to get your name changed.

The purpose of marriage is the vow you take to eachother in front of God and your friends and family. I believe that the vows in your marriage ceremony are the most important and you should always believe in them, and follow them. We chose our vows and they meant so much to us. Another thing I believe in is the rings. The ring is a symbol of eternal love. The wedding band is meant to be worn on your left ring finger as to be closest to your heart. I always wear mine and very rarely ever take it off.

If a marriage is meant to be, it shouldn't be that hard. I understand that alot aren't meant to be either. People grow apart or realize that they didn't want the same things in the long run. In those cases don't drag it out. Don't make it harder than it is. Everyone doesn't find their soulmate the first time around. I was lucky enough too though.

I think more people need to respect their own marriages as well as others.

I love being married to my best friend, I am proud to have taken his last name (which I had everything changed in 2 weeks)!

"This committment is made in love, kept in faith, and eternally made new"

p.s. I hope I don't get harrassed for this blog too. I have a right to speak my mind about anything, and it doesn't always have to be against certain people. It's just part of my thoughts.

Current mood:  disgusted

So first off it's been awhile, and now I'm tired of being quiet about it. I hope the bitch sees this. If not then oh well I guess. If I ever meet her or see her, better hold me back cause I want to kick her ass for being so stupid.

Ok, so OJ and I have been together for almost 2 years, we have been married for almost 2 months, and we have a 9 month old son TOGETHER.

I've come to accept the past. I know I can't change it and I shouldn't have to think about it, but there's one thing holding me up. OJs crazy ex is stupid. She has a myspace of course, I don't look at it often, but I admit I do. For 1 reason, she has posted numerous (like 50+) pictures of him, or that have to do with him. Stupid things like tickets from games, rodeos, and places that they went. Funny thing is, she's married to someone else now. As for him I'm not even  sure. He has a page too, but I wonder if he even uses it, or does she? Does he look at the pictures she posts? Why would someones husband allow that? I know mine wouldn't be too happy if I posted pictures of my ex.

Now I know I shouldn't care, but why would she do something like that, when she made a big deal about the yr anniversary of everything being final? Then goes and post a bunch more pictures. It's just irritating that another woman is posting pictures of MY HUSBAND. They don't have anything together, no kids, no animals, no property of any kind, they didn't even live together but for like 2 months and she couldn't handle it in Idaho.

All I know is I have the man of my dreams, who loves me for me, takes care of his family, and is so much more than words can even explain. I was the woman to have his baby. I saw him everyday for the first 1 1/2 years of our relationship. More than she saw him in the 3 years they were together I'm sure.

I know she's jealous of the life she could of had, but screwed up. We had the perfect wedding and everyone was there. We have a beautiful son together, (which she could never give him). We have unconditional love for only eachother. There was never a doubt from the minute we started dating. Neither one of us were looking, but it was meant. The night we met, we sat and talked, went spotlighting and just had a good time by the bonfire. Didn't even exchange phone numbers just said bye. A week later I saw him in Ranch & Home while I was waiting for a friend to get off work, and he was in to get horse shoes. We talked for a bit and I invited him to the rodeo we were going to in Colville. He said he could probably make it. He did and didn't leave till 2am. He made it back to the feedlot at 6am to saddle his horse and go work. He came all that way and stayed till the very end. We've been together ever since and I couldn't ask for anything better.

I have him for the rest of my life. I know I have nothing to worry about. We've made our life together and it will only get better as time goes on. I can't wait to see where life takes us and our children.

I could write all day, but I just wanted to let off some steam and tell her she's a stupid hooker and needs to move on. Keep dreaming because you will never have a life as good as ours. Pretend all you want but I have him and his love, you never had it or he would of stayed.

I have respect for other peoples marriages. I have respect for mine. There is nothing I wouldn't do to make my husband and family happy. I think more people need to be like that. We both ALWAYS wear our wedding rings, we ALWAYS say I love you, and we ALWAYS take care of eachother no matter what.

I LOVE MY HUSBAND

AND

PROUD TO SAY I AM MRS BARBER!

I've been watching, "What not to wear", today cause there is really nothing else on, and it is so amusing. So funny how many people I know or have seen that should be on that show. All the older women that think they are still 16. Things hanging out where they shouldn't. Bulges, and bumps where there shouldn't be. GROSS! There was a women on one today that was a mother of five, that had a tube top leopard print dress that was horrible. She also had lots of plastic clothes. Not even cute! Just funny how people think they can pull of clothes that aren't made for anyone but a five year old girl. Even if you have a decent body you still grow out of being able to wear skirts that don't cover your ass when you sit, or shirts that show way to much cleavage. Save that stuff for the bedroom, not the public especially when you have a professional job.

This show is a must see for alot of people. I think it's great. It really changes someone when they realize how bad they really look and what people are really saying about them. Everyone needs to see this show at least once. It's one of my favorites!!! Every day at work I see so many that need help. People I work with and customers. It's hard not to say something but I don't so maybe someone will soon!

Some people totally amaze me. They think the world revolves around them and their shit don't stink. Everything that has ever gone wrong, was someone else's fault and none of it was theirs. Those people need to wake up and smell the coffee because it's gonna kick 'em later. All they are doing is lying to them selves and everyone else. Everyone makes mistakes but one that i'm thinking of went of way to long. Had i known it wouldn't of, quite this long. People try and put all the blame on one person. People need to step up to what they did wrong and not act all innocent. You just know that they aren't because their reputation is so much worse.

Another thing is people who are wanna be's. It seems to be the ones that want to be cowgirls that i notice the most. They never were that type and no matter how hard they try, they never will be. Just because you where a hat, drive a cheap truck, and go to rodeos. There's alot more to being a cowgirl or cowboy. Can you get up before first light, work all day horseback, or building fence in 100 degree weather, get home after dark, and then get up the next day and do it all over again. Can you go days without a shower? Get bucked off and get back on without thinking twice, or get run over by a momma cow and still want to go back in the pen with her. There is way more to a cowboy than watching a rodeo and having a pet horse. It's people like those that just think they are that ruin the name cowboy, and are the reason that the real cowboy is a dying breed.

My life is by no means perfect, but I am happy. Lately there have been some interruptions that we are dealing with. It has not changed anything and isn't the reason for anything being changed or different. All the plans we've had are the way they are because we want it that way. A certain person thinks that their mistakes and making things drama packed is gonna change us then they are wrong. We are stronger than that and always have been. I will not let somebody else's misery and stupidity ruin my happiness, no matter how hard they try. I am...we are, stronger and bigger than that.
