Prove me Wrong(a letter to a tele-evangelist)
This is a letter To you enemies I've never met It's a blunt invitation To come teach me what I don't know yet I hope you're offended, yes I hope I get put in my place So if it's righteous by all means defend it I have been known to make big mistakes
I'm a skeptic, a critic I'm quick to admit it It's stupid depressing and dumb But I've yet to discover the good in you brother To offset the damage you've done stop trying to confuse me, instead won't you prove me wrong....
So now I'll just say it, with out any further a due Your actions they disgust me I'm up hauled by the grace you abuse You can dismiss this as slander You can go tell your mother I'm mean You can hid in the corner go confide in your cowards and thieves
You're a joke that's not funny I'm saving my money for anything more worth my rent But the malice you gave me will keep and sustain me long after your money's been spent You may be only human but look what you're doing It's humans that scare me the most At least monsters stay hidden forgotten forbidden forsaken by even the ghosts but you're out in the open so clean and well spoken I find you more frightening by far Your words they don't move me, Still I wish you would prove me wrong...
And I'd love to be shown I was wrong all along and it's not all as bad as it seems but you haunt every station trade guilt for donations you're selling what you got for free I'm not joking or kidding it's crime you're committing don't let me insult you again If you've got some correction please teach me my lesson come save your good name if you can speak any truth to me Oh I wish you could prove me wrong....

Good evening all, A few months ago, we told you about this "silo project thing" and promised journal entries picture updates etc......With the exception of the trailer we've posted nothing......And I'm sorry. We didn't forget those you who were following along, nor did the silo project sease to exist......it's not you it's me. Once we began the filming/recording process things simply moved faster than anticipated and we ceased communication with the outside world.....until now. So heres a very belated update, the album is recorded, the documentary is filmed, the editing has commenced. The first blogs and clips are up, let us know your thoughts. cheers David http://thesiloproject.blogspot.com/

The wonderful people over at Rock Om ( www.rockom.net) have named "Hide and Seek" by Stukenberg as their featured track of the week. On top of that, they took the time to analyze the lyrics and post a video blog about their findings. Very interesting stuff if you care to take a look. Watch Now

Some bands break into the market via Apple commercials, some are background music on MTV teeny bop shows, we, on the other hand are looking to break the Japanese cooking blog market, which in our opinion is an untouched virtual cornucopia of opportunity. Check out the link below to see what we mean ... Watch Now

About time ehh?.....sorry for the delay guys, criticize away. Also for any of you who were keeping up with the silo, it hasn't stopped .We should have the first video along with more journal entries up before next weekend. Thanks for reading. cheers -David
Don't Mind I've been walking, been waiting, I've been right here I've been fighting, been brave, I've been full of fear I've been laughing, been smiling, been making amends I've been lonely and I've been surrounded by friends
CHORUS:
But if you don't mind, I think about you All the time I don't believe I have a choice I know you object, but it has no effect I've lost the one thing I enjoy I've been reading, been writing, mostly what I've read I've been singing while standing on my head (figuratively of course) I've been wishing my memories would just go away Been misspelling the things that I wish I could say
CHORUS
Bridge: I think I lost it, think I lost it again, ohhhh, I..I know I lost it, know I lost it again
CHORUS
Fights Don't you worry my dearest everyone Of course I'm still listening to you And don't you fret my only shining sun I haven't forgotten your smiling truth Could you just be direct you said to me Spare the intellect and the poetry We want a story we wanna sing along
And you, you're probably right I'm probably wrong and that's alright, Hey And we, we're probably friends and I know this will end That's what I love about fights
I've got a lot on my mind these days I know it's no excuse for the ways I behave Asking questions As if I want to know. So here's four chords and I'll do my best, To please them all with the utmost respect For anyone with an opinion or a name.
And I, I'm probably right You're probably wrong and that's alright, Hey And we, we're probably friends and I know this will end That's what I love about fights
BRIDGE: I told you all that I thought You told me that is what you would need I've got my soul but it's all that I brought In a box of honesty
And you, you're probably right I'm probably wrong and that's alright, Hey And we, we're probably friends and I know this will end That's what I love about fights
Hide and seek I'll count to ten, cover up my eyes again I know the rules and I can't turn around yet In hide and seek, you have to promise not to peek till the thing that you are searching for is hidden
CHORUS: Bigger something, won't you break me down I'll give my inhibitions to you Ohh and paint me hopeless and sketch me lost if it means you'll come looking for me I'll give you my heart all the pieces and parts forgotten, forgiven, in flames
I keep searching now, but you just don't want to be found I'm reading books you left as clues for me to find you I'll close my eyes, even pretend to be surprised I'll do anything to end this game we're playing
CHORUS
OUTRO: seek yeah and ye shall find I've been knocking on your door, I've been knocking on your door But did I misread between the lines, Did I get it wrong before, will I ever find you lord, I'm here
I see So I really thought I'd find a way to help them yeah, I figured I'd be sane enough by now but I see old men breaking down that look a lot like me saying that "life has passed them by and they don't know how"
CHORUS: I see everything around me it captivates and surrounds me And oh even now, I'm a memory somehow looking back on what's in front of me and oh I'll remain cause our hope already came and went away when there was still some time...
Well my best friend just said the world is ending And honestly well that just might be the case But I'd still rather be a fool who knows the truth is insane than a genius in an emperors parade
CHORUS: I see everything around me it captivates and surrounds me And oh even now, I'm a memory somehow looking back on what's in front of me and oh I'll remain cause our hope already came and went away when there was still some time...
February 20th Why would you say these things Is this what you really mean, what you really mean Are you sure are you sure, is this how you really feel, really feel? I guess I'll be alright, abolished for tonight
CHORUS: Hey and I don't think I need it No I won't be concerned You've drawn conclusions I just don't have time to fight with Life is far too short I've learned
Is this your last request Oh I can disappear, I will disappear So it's over now, you don't know how right you are, right you are I guess I'll be alright, abolished for the rest of my life
CHORUS
Hallelujah it's over, Hallelujah it's done Hallelujah it's over, Hallelujah it's done…..
Hypothesis Before your next big function Before the end grows near Before the mass destruction We'll all be consumed by fear
CHORUS: I've got it made and my hypothesis is great I've been afraid of this research I've made I love this place, and if only for today I've got it made, and I'll be quite ok
Thank God the globe is warming In time for world war three At least I won't be cold while I'm exploding My perspective's only up to me
CHORUS: I've got it made and my hypothesis is great I've been afraid of this research I've made I love this place, and if only for today I've got it made, and I'll be quite ok
BRIDGE: there is always gonna be bad news but today I'm gonna smile and there's nothing you can do
CHORUS:
Half Empty Somebody cried in my cup, and it's half full Guess I should be sad about it, or so I'm sold I changed my mind the other day, now I'm clean I spend my days awake in disinfected dreams
Chorus: And all I know is that I feel so bad right now And all I want is the smile that I once had It's so simple really
Read a self-help smile book at 2 am It said the problems in my head So I sat awake and thought about it til quarter after ten Just as I suspected they were right again
Bridge: Smiles can happen when there's rain on your face Sadness may occur on beautiful days
Chorus
Senses If all at once I couldn't speak May I write you a letter It might communicate it better written down If all at once I lost my sight I would color what I could not see If you swear to share your crayons with me Because what I mean To say.... Well I know I lack the senses to explain If all at once I couldn't hear May I sing you all my melodies So genuine and out of key And, if all at once I lost my mind may I Ramble to you endlessly about the Unicorns and apple trees I just met Because what I mean To say.... Well I know I lack the senses to explain If all at once we both grew old May I hit on you with pick up lines like Those dentures make you look so fine and... If all at once I forgot your name Would you banish me from your world if... I just called you beautiful Instead. Starbuck Algeria So you finally found a way to convince yourself Everything is not so bad It took another cup of coffee and two brand new shirts And some guy you pay to tell you that you're not mad And so you cry about your childhood cause your dad worked late And your mother spent her life on the phone Now you feel abandoned and you eat too much Life has left you fat and alone
You've been wasting your time You've been wasting your time (2x)
While you contemplate your happiness and peace of mind A six-year-old just opened his eyes To see his mother fall asleep with a firearm To guard the only thing she loves that is still alive And they have never heard of mortgages or self-esteem Sanity is just something to eat Freedom is a privilege in the rest of the world Self-absorption, pledge allegiance to me
I've been wasting my time I've been wasting my time (2x)
OUTRO: I'm so ungrateful, so ungrateful
Mrs. Barker's pew You'll be sitting still attentively learning at your will there you will remain for the rest of the lesson of the day hey, say hello does it apply to you you over articulated fool it should make you cry but it doesn't move anything inside oh no what's it like to be that way? you were screaming at the nearest face
You'll be singing along just loud enough to make an equal sound your expressions will be any emotion that you think that they should be you better make some noise if you're gonna appear to be over joyed oh and clap your hands to any rhythm that blends in any one will do at all what's it like to be that way? you were screaming at the nearest face
OUTRO: I've seen patience be so unkind To true love waiting so deaf and blind So while you're moving mountains my resounding friend If you should have a moment would you hold my hand?
Backslide I backslid today, or rather felt something not so great I wouldn't dare to complain, cause isn't sin what causes pain?
CHORUS: But if holiness is everywhere, then why am I by myself? And if godliness forgives and cares, where is everybody else? Somewhere we must've got human Somewhere we must've got real This is how it feels
They say that Jesus wept. I'm sure he smiled too I'm not ashamed of these things I'm not ashamed of you
CHORUS
Bridge/ ending:
If it stays this way, will anyone be left who hasn't made mistakes? And if we're all in this together will our self- righteousness never go away? (choir singing this) Otherwise I'd say that I'd do it all again But I don't believe in regrets I'd say that I'd learned my lesson well But what I have learned I forget Not very studios, I suppose I'm a lunatic, and no one knows da das
CHORUS: Good bad or otherwise I'll stay here, won't compromise I hope to grow more crazy every day Cause if we're lucky our eighty years aren't wasted on stupid fears May your every imperfection keep you brave
I'd say that I'd always had a plan But I'd much prefer to tell the truth I'd swear I won't screw this up again But then I might break a promise too You're so paranoid and concerned If we don't make mistakes We'll never learn da das
CHORUS: Good bad or otherwise I'll stay here, won't compromise I hope to grow more crazy every day Cause if we're lucky our eighty years aren't wasted on stupid fears May your every imperfection keep you brave
Consequences bring it on For I've been expecting you to come But it doesn't change a thing No it doesn't change a thing
