new week is just about to start

i have done this one in october last year,

i head into the studio w/ i might be wrong on january 2
since then up to one more month from now on it is studiotime.
i am recording with siva. at the moment, we start to post a bunch of things

i am really excited about this...

the music slut blog featured my remix laserlong's 'departure' as a free download for you all:

i did the remix this spring, starting it inside the tourbus, driving admidst the alps during nighttime.
there is even a bit of bus noise in the mix if you listen closely.
sampled, to make a tiny beat. fun times.

but there is more to be told...
laserlong just released a complete remix album for free

the departure remix is included there as well.
grab it and check their other releases while you are at it.

and now something really new to me...
there are two videos for the departure remix as well. wow.

i posted a new remix i did last week on the profile.
it's for the swedish instrumental postrock band versus each other.
i like them. yes. remixing was fun as i had to do it in very short time
so i started cutting up everything i could get my hands on.
and you can listen now to the result. i hope you like it.
finally myspace gave in and let me upload it.
i've been trying since the weekend...

the remix is out digitally in a few weeks time
but it is also included on their new single
which is limited & handmade. you can get it from them directly.

long time no see, i have been quite busy lately
finishing off two remixes i had the pleasure to tweek a bit.



first i did a reworking of uk electronic band laserlong.
i did a remix of their debut album's titletrack 'departure'.
work for it began back in march in the tourbus during the sdnmt tour,
in the middle of the night, second row left hahah.
be sure to check them out, they are great and really really nice as well!



last week i remodelled a song from upcoming american band senryu.
their song disco nap was just made availbale on one of their three brand new eps
all released silmutaneously. yeah. really!

just a short note
the corwood manual remix of norton’s "(your) balcony" will be released alongside the original as a single in portugal & spain. both the original as well as the remix will be available as a free download, too, next monday, 31st of march at norton’s myspace and portugese web radio cotonete. if you live in spain, portugal or japan AND have a tv set, you can watch the video for it on the telly. but i am sure the video is online pretty soon.
in other news: a lot to do here. and maybe some more concerts soon.

this is a short update for you all.
after two tours since january, i am now back at work.
a lot of things have been happening in corwoodland during the last weeks
so there are a lot of new projects to take care of.

for now there are many remixes to do as well as other projects
artists from us, uk, ger & canada are being remixed by me
stay tuned for some updates as the days and weeks pass*

original material is being completed as well
yet there is to chose what exactly to do with it, folks.
