We received this wonderful email today...check it out:

Dear Friends,

Last August my brother-in-law asked Sam to create a video to go on YouTube related to his two assisted living facilities in Southern California. They decided to do a singing group, which Sam titled RejuveNation. He hired a singing coach and got together about 25 residents of the two facilities - MOST OF THE PEOPLE IN THE VIDEO ARE IN THEIR 80's or 90's. The beautiful Asian woman in the front row is 94! None of them had any singing training, but were eager to participant. It was hysterical - wow, people that age are even more opinionated and obstinate than we are! Sam really earned his pay! Anyway, Sam just posted the first video on You Tube. We're hoping you will watch it and forward it to as many people as you can, as he's trying to get it out there.

And watch for Rejuvenation - Twist and Shout (adorable!), which will be posted next week. The Residents of the facilities loved doing this so much it's going to become a regular activity for them, so the next videos he shoots will be more professional because the group is going to practice more than two days, as they did here.

Here's the link:

If this link doesn't work, go to YouTube.com and type in RejuveNation - Happy Together

Thanks, Cherie

Hello everyone
Just a word to bring you all up to date

Many of you might know that we canceled some shows this past year for some health related issues. These are the first dates in our career that we have had to either cancel outright or, for some of the shows, have to reschedule for the new year. You can always go to our website for up to the minute shows in the future.

Howard and I felt that it was in the the best interest of our fans to try and reschedule rather then to play the shows and not be at full strength. The health issues were never life-threatening but necessary, so with that in the past we move forward scheduling dates as I write this.

We finished up the year performing to more than a million people doing over 50 concerts in the United States. We had a blast doing 22 cities in 31 days with "HippieFest 2007" and look forward to the possibility of doing more dates next year under the title of "HippieFest 2008."
Last year (with Mountain, The Zombies, Felix Cavilere, Joey Mullond, Mitch Ryder and Country Joe McDonald) HippieFest was one of the best tours we have ever been a part of. The members of the tour, which numbered close to 42, was really fun and getting to share fans with all these great acts really brought in so many 60's music fans that supported the show. Thanks!

We are also happy to finally say that the music we made under the names Flo & Eddie is finally available! We are releasing the first two records, "The Phorescent Leech and Eddie" and
"Flo & Eddie," (The 2nd Record) for the first time ever in CD form.

It has been over 33 years since they were out and they can be ordered through our website in a 2 CD in 1 package. Also through our site you can order autographed limited edition versions of the 2 CD in 1 package release of our other 2 albums "Illegal, Immoral and Fattening" and "Moving Targets." It has been a long time coming but the projects are finally out and available.
The re-mastering on all of the CD's sounds amazing and the repackages are done of the original artwork with extra added comments.

And, finally, thanks to all of you for constantly writing in wonderful comments and friend requests to our myspace. We also appreciate your patience when we don't get to check our profile all the time. We DO run this ourselves, so cut a little slack as we've got a lot of other things going on in our lives...so we try to do it all. It just doesn't always work.

Thanks for continuing to support our tours and we look forward to seeing you in the upcoming year!

Hello to all!
Just coming onboard here to welcome all of the new friends we have. And say hi to some of the old friends, too.

We are busy finishing up the final legs of our summer touring. Many of you know and some might not, we play about 60 live concerts a year. They are everything from full concert theaters to city festival, state fairs, theme parks, private events and just about anything that we deem worthwhile. The flying really has become the hardest part with the security at such a peak and the fact that few planes fly direct anywhere anymore. If you have traveled at all in the past 3 years you also know that prices are not getting better, either. But of course, you dont want to hear us whining about how hard life is for a musician.

My school term at Belmont University will start in August so I am excited at the large classes I have to look forward to. I teach three classes and they are all filled up. My music business class is very much a part of my Professor Flo website and if you check that out and have any questions get in touch through there.

Howards album Dust Bunnies has received good reviews from both critics and fans alike and you can find information on how to get it at his site.

Hope you have a great and safe rest of your summer and keep writing us. We try to write back to everyone, but sometimes time does not allow it (and I have a mac...myspace must not like macs all the time). We appreciate all your kind comments and messages! You guys are great!

Wow! Many of you have been writing in asking if we can make Happy Together available for you to add to your profile. At first, we didn't know what you were talking about. We're new. But we figured it out...and now you can. And we will assume you know how to do this on your own...because we sure as hell don't.

Enjoy....

Well, Well, Well

Back, yes, we are back.

My space for some reason had us shut down and we lost everything.

They actually wrote us and said we could never come back, so we wrote a letter to them trying to find out what we had done to deserve such a fate. For a moment I felt like Natalie Maines. But they said they were sorry and we were welcome to come back. I hope we can keep moving forward with this space and keep you all up to date on our future as well as our past.

As you see our tour schedule is getting full. We only choose to do about 55 to 60 shows a year due to the travel and the amount of time one show actually takes to do. Such as today I will fly to Walker, MN....to arrive at about 12:30 am, spend the day eating reading, rehearsing the song "Keep it Warm" (which we want to add to the show) and then play at about 8PM tonight at the Casino n Walker MN. I will sleep about 4 hours arise at 3:30am and then drive from Walker to Bemidji to fly back to Minneapolis and then arrive back in Nashville on Sunday at 12:30 PM.

Yes Bonnie, I will miss church and I am so sorry that our Youth group has ended for the summer! (My wife and I are the youth advisors at the church and we have such an awesome group. Bonnie, Hannah, Sarah, Alan, Natalie, Luke, Danny, and the rest of the guitar army. I will miss them for the summer.)

As you see, it takes me about three days to do just a 1 hour show. That wears you down.
Not when your 18... but now at 59.

I hope you all will join us from time to time if we make it to where you live. Come see the show. It is a good one.

We have just found out that we NOW own all of the masters for the first two Flo & Eddie records. For those who dont know Flo & Eddie, Howard and I released 5 albums as Flo & Eddie. The first two are now going to be made ready for iTunes and also for CD releas.
If you have never heard them, they are worth hearing. I think we were on to something when we made our fourth Flo & Eddie record, Moving Targets, and we were really getting better as producers and writers. Yet I think the first two records were good records as we were trying to find out what we did well. Look for their releases soon.

I will come back from time to time to read and respond, so I hope you will, too.
