Former SB3 bass player, Duane Davis is a full-time music teacher in Zelienople / Harmony, PA. One of his friends composed a Steelers tribute song to the tune of Pat Benatar's Heartbreaker.  Duane's son, Elijah and daughter, Electra have a  kid's band, Pop Rocks.  They worked out the tune, videotaped it, and have gotten tons of attention ever since.
Pop Rocks will perform at the Moraine State Park Regatta at Lake Arthur on August 1 at the North Shore. Don't miss it!  These kids have talent!

WTAE did a story on it. (click on the link, or copy and paste it to your browser)
Now they've got a Penguins song. See the links below.

We've lost a good friend, Jim Weber. He had pancreatic cancer and passed away on Friday, May 1.
He was a warm, loving, caring friend.
He loved the blues and promoted it in many ways and in many places. He was president of the Westerm PA blues society. He supported the local bands, and worked very hard for countless hours to help spread the good word about the Blues and it's growing popularity. He was diplomatic, selfless,  and was successful in moving the blues society forward.
He loved his wife, Jonnye and it showed. He was sincere, down to earth, and a joy to be around.
We'll miss Jim's smile, his passion for the music and the people, and his willingness and desire to get people involved.
He was a man of faith who lived his life to the fullest. Jim Weber will be remembered and honored by his family and friends with great affection and love.

On Saturday, October 11 we'll perform at WOOLEY BULLY'S in New Brighton - Beaver County.  Former Sweaty boy, Matt Kaunert will also sit in. Lotsa call and responses with Matt and George Kalantzis, I'm sure.

..............................................................................................................................................................................................

On Sunday, October 12 we perform at Cefalo's in Carnegie at the third annual Women of the Blues event. Proceeds benefit breast cancer research and health care for Western PA women.

The W.PA blues society is a sponsor of this all-day event with local bands.

It's also our salute to a great friend and bass player, Duane Davis, who is rocking out with the Davis School of Guitar Performance.

Don't miss this fantastic day of live music. We're on at 5pm but we'll be there early to see the other performers.  We're really looking forward to this.
