Category: Dreams and the Supernatural
Well, it has been a while since anything in the post Gamits world was worth mentioning but I think the goings on lately are worth a quick word or two. Here it is. I had put together this band of guys a while ago and we worked on some stuff. I was writing songs. We were sort of searching for a sound and practiced a couple times but then Dave, the drummer, went on tour in his band Drag the River and things were put on hold. Plus I just wasn't really all that happy with the songs I was writing. Anyway, I slacked for a while and then one night at work, Matty and I were listening to some metal and having recently played a Black Sabbath set for Halloween we thought it would be a great idea to start a metal band! It's more like "old metal" somewhere between Black Sabbath and the Kill em All album. I am singing and playing guitar and Ian O from Uphollow is on the other ax. Dave Barker ( Drag the River and Rocky Votaloto) on the drums and Matty Clark ( Sleeper Horse and Grace Like Gravity ) on bass. Anyway, the songs are coming together nicely and we are all excited. One thing I have noticed so far is that when you are playing music that has sort of an old or vintage sound it makes you feel younger as apposed to playing a newer sound when you are already too god damn old. There should be a recording out in the summer. We do have a name but I'm not spilling that until we are sure. We'll keep ya posted!

As I sit here eating cheese with crackers and drinking the best boxed wine money can buy, my fiance sleeps. Yes, I will be married 10 days from now. Me, Chris F. Mmmm cheese. So I guess I just wanted to make a little announcement for those of you who had no idea this was happening and for the majority of you who have no idea who i am even though you invited my band (which no longer exists) to be your friend. My space is funny in so many ways; stupid in even more. Still, the fact that I can sit here in my skiveez and send a message to a few thousand people who may or may not care is pretty amusing. Ok, congrats to me! I love you Melissa!
