Sepi the great just updated our profile layout to match the website... smooth and streamlined... i felt that a few new tunes would be in order... The version of "Freedom Fighter" is from the Sonic Pump Sessions from last December... Rockin HARD!!! eh? The other song is what could be called a "RARITY". "It's Over" is one of the first songs i ever wrote... and it ended up on the C-side of our second single "Immortal Life" that was released in 2001. Hope you enjoy these "new" additions...

the brothers were nominated today for two EMMA'S (Finnish Grammy Awards).

The latest album, "LOVE REMAINS THE SAME" was nominated for "BEST ROCK ALBUM 2008"

VHB was also nominated in the "BEST BAND OF 2008" category.

The previous album "APPROACH" was awarded with a GRAMMY in march 2007 as the "BEST ROCK ALBUM 2006".

Just before retiring for the Christmas holidays, we spent 2 days at the Sonic Pump studios here in Helsinki. We wanted to try to capture on tape the rawish live energy that some of our older songs have nowadays. "Experience" is one of the songs we recorded. All the instruments were played live and the rule was not to do any overdubs... this of course doesn't really mean that the end result is necessarily better... we just wanted to experiment... it's up to you to judge... i think it sounds pretty good. and since "Experience" is a song that most of you haven't heard before... I took the liberty of adding it to our profile. Hope you enjoy! love!mikko

hullo everybody.first of all thanks for showing up for the Dynasty Tour 2008. It was a memorable experience for us. As most of you remember, we only did five club gigs in the spring after releasing our new album. Called it "Love Remains the Same Tour - part 1".Then summer came (or did it?) and the festival season started... and the 60 minute shows... Then Dynasty tour started... and the 60 minute shows...Anyway,I just added the dates for the upcoming second part of "LRTS Tour". We are really looking forward to that. Nobody to throw us out from the stage... other than you, of course... if we suck... :DThis will be the last part of our touring here in Finland. I just added on our profile our new single "Faded Photographs". In a week or so, it wouldn't hurt to start requesting the song from the radio stations... hugsies,mikko :warmfuzzy:

Dynasty Tour kicked off already yesterday for the crew, who left to set up the first venue... i'm writing this from the tour bus that left this morning to follow the trucks that left yesterday... The production is... in one word: HUGE! i don't think this country has ever seen anything like this before. Only the lighting set up top of the line and absolutely outrageous. I have to admit that even i was a little bit afraid that the ticket price would be too much for many people. but. now that i've seen how much effort and dough has been put to create this thing... i'm sure the show is going to be every penny's worth... of course the bands might suck (at least us :smile:) but that's another story... no fault of the production... it's going to be a blast. rest assured. everybody is in a good mood here in the bus... well actually 13 out of the 16 are sleeping... just pauli and me chatting, browsing and doing whatever... joking around. Antti is (as usual) on the phone all the time, sorting things out. oh yea, and the driver is up of course... i just wanted to write a short note to encourage everyone who are still not sure if they should come to the shows or not... oujea, you should. because a world class rock circus is coming to town.... jiiihhhaaaaaaaaaaa! :smile: m
