Hey -- so our debut full-length album is out in the world now! Limited run of 25 copies, though there will be many more.... as fast as I can make 'em, and as long as people keep digging them.

Due to the laborious act of making them, there is relatively little information on the CD cases themselves. Here is the full "info" for those curious!

Stefan Zeniuk (tenor sax), Brian Drye (trombone), Mike Gamble (guitar), Joe Exley (tuba), Greg Stare (drums & percussion)

1. Pink Elephants, Pt. 1 (Oliver Wallace/Ned Washington, arrangement Stefan Zeniuk)
2. Red Light (Stefan Zeniuk)
3. All Purposes Rendered Void (When Absent Of Swing) (Duke Ellington, arrangement Stefan Zeniuk)
4. Isobel (Bjork, arrangement Joe Exley)
5. Tango/Mango (Stefan Zeniuk)
6. Happy Unmotivated (Stefan Zeniuk)
7. Across The Rainbow (Mike Gamble)
8. Pink Elephants, Pt. 2 (Oliver Wallace/Ned Washington, arrangement Stefan Zeniuk)

Produced by Stefan Zeniuk
Recorded & Engineered by Greg Stare, Mixed & Mastered by Greg Stare

Album Art by Stefan Zeniuk

hope you all enjoy the music. Hopefully we'll be getting some reviews comin' in soon, and then maybe try and get our asses on the road to travel/tour a bit.

Hey -- our first bit of "press" from the Miscellany News, up at Vassar College where we played earlier in the week. We were called "Jazz, peppered with Latin, punk, and classical influences." Is that good? bad? I think I might have told them those exact lines, but I can say that they said them, right?

Hey folks -- I (Stefan) just put together Gato Loco's first series of recordings, recorded live last month at Bar 4 (10/23) and at Zebulon (10/24). It's a 7-track thing, with live spontaneity madness included along with the bad-ass playing. I'll start having them at shows, and on my person at all times, so if you see me, ask for one. word.

It's most certainly a preemtive strike towards the ever-elusive studio recording of this material. Hopefully we'll be nailing that down before the new year, though. so.... stay tuned.
