It is a great sadness that we learned of Merl Saunders passing today on 10/24.

Merl was one of the tastiest players and was a perfect musical (and personal) foil for Jerry during Jerry's peak period of development musically.

He has obviously had a huge impact on the music we play and we will miss him greatly.

Kat (one of our legionettes :-) has done a wonderful job putting it together, there is a message board, some cool audio and video to watch (with more to be added) and a bunch of other neat stuff. It is a work in progress but off to a great start! Please bookmark it and visit us periodicaly for the latest in LOJ land. Also, come on into the message board, sign up and hang out and chat with some pretty cool people (well, I don't count in that list but others there do).
