....just noticing that tonight there has been 888 viewers to myspace/joydreaming.
been watching daily the numbers increase and i find it facisnating!

 i am kind of a later comer to this internet networking yet am developing quite an intimate and tender relationship to it....through it....to so many wonderful talented kind open inspired individuals who inspire me.  yay, i am grateful.

plus...i am seeing the possibilities to get art out to be seen....and sold!  the numbers are working something inside my skin.  888....hmmmm...something is brewing!

i know you all think maui is paradise ....and in a sense it is.....yet we all know paradise is a state of mind.  i have lived paradise everywhere i have been......new york raising a family was delightful delicious feast of autumn color rich grow anything soil along with the delight and new and fun of children......new mexico's sangre de christo red sunset mountains with little water only the seemingly unreal majestic rio grande of cold green and brown carved into my soul.... and texas, too.... big baby blue sky softest clouds and springtime delicious SOOOO sweet with bluebonnets horned toads fireflies and summertime locusts....all paradise!  need we only be awake to know that paradise is everywhere... if even.... in 4 square feet of where we are right now....and if only......we can look deeper and deeper.....into our breath with our heart brain instead of the judge.

here in maui....surrounded by miles and miles of turquoise, aqua, deep blue and soft green waters.....one is challenged in ways that, until you come here to experience,  you can't imagine the depth.  maybe it's the waters being so deep and also representative of emotions that brings it on?  whatever it is  have no illusions that maui is just a laid back challenge free kind of place as many of us here would have it.  it seems to me that from the folks i have met over the past 6 years, we would mostly all atest that maui is a place to grow.  i mean, if one finds complaints in paradise then one must have a pretty high expectation of life and of oneself which can be quite painful.  my desire to find joy within my pain is put to the test here on this magical island bliss.....and high point of reality separation.  there is much room for growth here....within and with out.

i ask myself everyday if i am home here in maui....missing my family who are spread all over the planet and far away......yet truly knowing that i am home and my family surrounds me wherever i am.  life is surreal.....only a dream that is expanding as myself....a mixed pot of dichotomies....fruit for the pickin'....art for the makin'....and when i can open myself fully and be in my moment.....maui is paradise!
