Wow, We had an awesome turn out to see me sing Rock and Roll and play drums. I don't think a lot of folks believed that drums are my PRIMARY instrument and I thank all of you for coming out and seeing the show! We mixed in some country songs from my CD and even a little James Otto cover for ya! All in all it was a fantastic night and to see everyone out supporting was incredible! I look forward to seeing everyone again in the future and as always you are VERY appreciated!! :) I hope everyone has had a great Holiday Season and got the chance to see all of your families! Best of luck toward the New Year!!
Love you all,
Nick

Oh Where to start??
Handle Bar J's was an absolute party! Mark Wills came out and tore up a couple of the new songs on his new cd and of course did a couple of hits from radio's past none the less he is an awesome artist and a pretty good friend! The food was fabulous and the Herndon Brothers band were great and it was nice to finally meet and jam a couple with them although Ray I will repay the favor one day my friend! lol! You know what I mean!! Ha! On the inside here talking about Ray saying to me after the festivities had been rolling for quite sometime asks me to come up and do a couple! All was well but I wasn't sure! But we made it thru!
Then onto the "Holdem for Heroes" This was a 1st class benefit for such a wonderful cause of fallen officers families and it was as always an honor to have been a part of all of it! Phil Helmuth the 11 time bracelet holder of the "World Series of Poker" was the host and an awesome coach I might add passing on some of his wisdom of the game and really helping me "A NON Poker Player" stay in the game longer than to be expected! I had a blast all weekend long! Met a ton of wonderful folks in the entertainment, Art, film, and sports industry plus a lot old friends again as well! Taser Foundation and Fort McDowell Casino really put on a fantastic benefit and we raised a boat load of cash for the cause! I look forward to next years event and I am hoping it is bigger and better than ever!!
It was awesome meeting everyone and I had a BLAST!
Till next time,
Nick

Current mood: excited
Hey! Last night was really cool...we were out at Cooperstown playing in the "Proof is in the Pudding" band competition to be an act on Alice Cooper's Annual Christmas Pudding show. (It's going to be at the Dodge Theatre December 13th.) All of the waiters, waitresses and bartenders at Cooperstown wear black mascara on their eyes, just like Alice...kind of creepy! I had a blast and met some very good local rock bands out there. Being the only "Country" act, I am proud to say we have moved on to the final round of the competition!
We played two songs, and kicked it off with a little "Somethin' Somethin'" and finished up with an Elvis Christmas tune "Santa's Back in Town." The event is a benefit for the Solid Rock Foundation supporting Arizona's youth and I am just honored to be a part of it.
Be sure and stay tuned in for information on the next round, I'd love to see you there...and will send you the information as soon as I get it, but I'm pretty sure we'll be back at Cooperstown competing on December 1, so plan to bring your NN country pride with and root us on.
See you out there! Nick
P.S. - if you're looking for any of our music, it's now available on CdBaby.com, so grab a copy...or two...they're the perfect size for gift wrapping!
