Congratulations to WyoTech-Long Beach graduate Ashley Waller for landing a Technician apprenticeship at the Ferrari Maserati Beverly Hills dealership!
Ashley was a 4.0 GPA student with perfect attendance during her time at WyoTech. She says her instructors were a major influence in her success and that she doesn't mind the competition of being a female in a male-dominant industry.
Excerpt: “Ashley is a great example of dedication and determination. She knew what she wanted and was willing to wait for the right position to make her dream come true,” said Helene DeAlleaume, Director of Career Services at WyoTech Institute of Long Beach. “We are so proud of Ashley and are confident that other graduates will have the opportunity to follow in her footsteps.”

Finance Your Career Training With Your G.I. Bill
We Value Your Training and Skills
At WyoTech, we realize that your military training most likely provided you with valuable skills such as leadership, discipline and work ethic. We know that you have a lot to offer and a bright future ahead of you but you also have a lot of questions. Should you go right back into the work force or go to school first to get specific training? If you decide to go back to school, how will you afford it?
WyoTech offers a wide range of Automotive and trade career training programs, such as Residential HVAC and Electrician training. All of these programs can be financed with your G.I. Bill and most can be completed in about a year. With our hands-on training and focus on professionalism, you will gain the knowledge and skills necessary to succeed in your field of choice.*
We Offer Benefits to Military Veterans
In addition to using your G.I. Bill to pay for your WyoTech training, the WTI Foundation offers scholarships to WyoTech students, based on qualifications such as need and academic performance. All active duty members of the U.S. Military Forces, National Guard and Reserve Armed Services, as well as all honorable discharged veterans are eligible for our United States Armed Services Scholarship Program. These scholarship recipients are provided with savings equal to 15% of the student’s entire program tuition. The Veterans Administration offers additional educational assistance programs.
To get more info about using your G.I. Bill to finance your education at WyoTech, fill out a short Contact Form at GIBill.WyoTech.edu.
*Programs vary by campus.

Demico Rogers isn't your average WyoTech graduate success story. Rogers attended the Laramie campus and, for the past seven years, has been serving as the Master Technician for Mercedes-Benz in Bellevue, Washington. That alone would make for a pretty nice story about one of our grads, and would have made us proud of Demico for taking what he'd learned and turning that knowledge and experience into a fine career. But he didn't stop there.
Demico will be competing in this season of Spike TV's "Ultimate Fighter," a reality series that pits Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) hopefuls against one another in a competition to earn a contract to fight in the prestigious Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC). The 6'4", 235-pounder from Renton was a bit of a surprise entry, given his relatively small amount of fighting experience. "I really didn't think I had a chance, not because I wasn't good enough but just because of my experience level," Rogers told NW Fight Scene Magazine. "I just did what I was supposed to do. I did my job and I got picked."
Cheer on Demico as "Ultimate Fighter" premieres at 10pm EST tonight on Spike TV and follow his progress on Twitter & Facebook:

The latest WyoTech blog talks about how an engine can run on vegetable oil. Yeah, it's true. But before messing with your engine, read how diesel engines can do this.
