We just got back from Austin. South by Southwest was incredible. We played at Maggie Mae..s Rooftop and at a Gay bar called Chain Drive. Both concerts were lovely. All the people we met were so wonderful. Before we went to Texas we played in NY. Stuart at East Village Radio was kind enough to let us play on his radio show. Then we went and played at this great party at 49 Ann Street. There we tried to put the fun back in fundamental. The following night, Sunday, we played at the Armory in a party called Agathe..s Dance Marathon. The people at the party already had there dancing boots on. On Monday Night we played at the Cake shop with the darlings from Reykjavik! http://www.myspace.com/reykjaviktheband that was fun and beautiful. We saw Reykjavik! twice at South by Southwest. If you don..t know them you have to look them up. Happy times. Now we just need a dictionary to look up more words so we can have more than just fun.

Bylarm and Porto were great great great. In Portugal we played in this weird house. It was an architectural wizardry of some sort. We managed to get lost in the building at least four times. All the people that came to our concert were so fabulous. The even danced so we decided to give them medallions. Múm and Bloodgroup played as well and they were both fun to see.
At Bylarm we accidently got a really fancy hotel. That doesn´t happen very often. We played Friday and Saturday nights at Bylarm and it was nothing but fun. The people that came to our concerts were so nice. They jumped and sang and made us happy.
We bought the cheapest plane tickets we could find which meant that instead of travelling for six to seven hours, it was more like fifteen hours.
One of us is lying down at the moment, drinking paracetamol tea.
