I am writing this, now, in the present time, on the most frustrating computer in history.
Of course, by the time anybody reads this it wont be 'present time', it'll be 'somewhere else' time, where admitedly this "blog" will still exist, BUT wont carry with it any physical sense of how fucking annoying writing it was.... Which, for me, is unfair for many reasons and only more furiously adds to the revulsion of writing this glorious SLOWFUCKFUCKINGSHITCOMPUTERSHITFUCK!!!!!!!!
Hmmm, but never mind.
I dont even like computers. Why am I shocked to encounter one so ridiculous? I take no satisfaction from any of them, however beautiful and streamline and silver and magnificent. So, I invite you now, to relax....For "blogging" or what have you really doesnt have to mean anything at all, does it?
It certainly doesnt have to carry such aggression and sorrrow. I added an extra 'r' in'sorrow' on purpose to sutlely emphaphize the 'sorrow'. As in the 'sorrow' I feel now. Because of this computer. And this "blog".
Sorrrow.
Sorrrrrrow.
Sorrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrow.
SORRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRROW!!!!!!!!!!

OK. Hello! I'm fine now.
This is an update-y sort of bloggaroo, seeing as I have a few bits in the acoustical drain of activity and felt I might share them with the entire world HAZARRR!
The main superdoops news of the moment is that I'm heading up to London to record some songs for my next E.P/Mini-Album (?) thing!
HURAHH!
My glorious friend Joe Dangerous (www.myspace.com/joedangerous Amazing music. Beautiful man) has offered up his ears and limbs to record some new songs and some older songs o' mine, and I'm crushingly excited :D!!!

The new E.P/Mini Album (?) is going to be called 'Not For Everybody'.
Among the older songs going on it will be new versions of:
'Trust Me, Kathryn.... I am a Tree'
'The Tin in the Moon'
AND
'Oh, Napoleon...'
Possibly some even older songs might get on there, but hmmmm...
Of the new songs going on are:
'Make Me Sad All Day'
'Someone, Please Help my Witless Heart'
and, maybe, hopefully,
'Drowning Man Hugs'

It all needs a litle bit of actual "OKwhatamIdoingthisisridiculousIdontknowwhatI'mdoing" help and nurishment, but when it's done I think it'll be super wizard, yeeeeeah.
I shall be posting some new songs/new versions of old songs in a couple of weeks after I've gone up to see Secret Danger Man, so, yes, please dont riot outside my flat, follow and hound me wherever I go, shoot me with any darts dipped in poisonous frustration, cursing any (inevitable) delays that (will) might occur and render you (totally) slightly heartbroken.

I have a feeling you'll be fine. Weird.

ANYWAY! Also, smaller thing, I going to change my name again!
I' not actually going to CHANGE my name to anything other than what my name actually is, and it's only for ridiculous, acoustical purposes...
I was billed as my actual name for one of the gigs with the amazing MIKE TV, and everyone sort of basically said they thought it sounded better then the 'Alexander' thing, which I guess I always sort of thought sounded a bit....rubbish, really.
SO! The 20th October is my last show as Jack ALexander, and then I'm changing it to......erm, Jack Wiseman.
Thats my name. My real name. Great.

So. Jack Wiseman. New E.P. And I didnt murder anyone trying to write this epic bastard, whcih has taken me nearly an HOUR.
PLEASE come along to the MIKE TV shows on

Friday 30th October @ the Five Bells, Buriton (Pre- Halloween dress up swashbuckery!
AND
Thursday 12th November @ Foggy's, Petersfield

MIKE TV are a fucking brilliant band (www.myspace.com/miketv ) and they are doing these rare acoustic gigs that are rare, so come along!?!

Blog over.

BYEEEEEE!

As the title of the blog would suggest, this blog will make everything else you've read/done this year appear miniscule and unimportant as I dazzle you with exciting "could be happening"s and "wouldnt it be nice, but no"-isms... Enjoy.

Umm, nothing is happening. Although, it almost certainly could, and at any moment... I have decided to concentrate more on "the music, maaan" so  have turned my back on the frivilous and crushing world of retail and am going to sell petrol to people to facillitate my inevitable rise to musical/global infamy and riches..... Help.

I DONT NEED HELP! I'm sure it will be fine, because of these reasons:

Reason the 1st: MR KAMIKAZE (the band I do the guitar in) have just released our first Mini Album and you can get your paws on it through here www.myspace.com/mrkamikazemusic  I'm excited, its really good, we're playing a couple of shows in September so if you's are around Brighton or London or have enough limbs to travel to said places, PLEASE come along!!

2nd Reason why things aren't shit: I have written enough NEW SONGS now to fill up an albums worth of material and should have a new E.P (or two) to sell in the next few months! I'm going to be playing some new songs ('Make Me Sad All Day' 'Catastrophic Intermission Love Song' 'Drowning Man Hugs') at my gig at the end of September supporting.......................................

3rd Reason: LUPEN CROOK AND THE MURDERBIRDS! www.myspace.com/lupencrookandthemurderbirds Very cool band, the gig is on Saturday the 26th of September so PLEASE PLEASE come down, if you need me to sort you out some tickets I will.......try.

I now have to run back to my frivilous and crushing retail job, but shall continue to dream of petrol, Lupen Crook, Mr Kamikaze and new songs and suggest you do too!

HURRAH! Hope all is well, byeeeee

JACK ALEXANDER: "The Tin In The Moon" (Myspace)
RELEASED?
Out now.
SOUNDS LIKE? We
hate to hate (this is a lie)
and having hated the
Sarah Grace stuff, we
listened in to one of her
myshite 'friends'. Now,
young Jack Alexander
lists himself as folk,
breakcore, punk and
this means annoying
early Bowie by making
him share a sandpit with
Jamie T. It's a clever,
middle-class waster sound. However, it's pretty fine and cheerfully free of the intellectual pretensions that make a joke of Doherty.
IS IT ANY GOOD? Yeah, he's hurting no bugger and could even help himself.

Erm, brilliant! Right? Right!

I'm going to go and gleefully find an early David Bowie to annoy. Tremendous.

MWAH!
