CAOS EMERGENTE 2009 - Newsflash 4.0

Dear Iberian Metal Legions,

As promissed, here we are, bringing to you the last news concerning Caos Emergente 2009 confirmations.

We must confess that at this moment we're very exicited and at the same time absolutely proud of the bill we've came up so far. So we'll save our words, we won't say that we're the best, the bigger, amazing, beautiful, mainstream or whatever fucking self atributted adjective we can remember on the moment! Most of you knows perfectly for what do we stand, and to label us the best or the worst is not our job. Our job is to work hard every year, to grant you memorable moments during these three days party! 

But one thing we can guarantee to you this will be strongest Portuguese and CE line up ever! Just killers no fillers!

So let's skip to the interesting part:

In first place we would like to announce that our fellow countrymen GWYDION, will invade Caos Emergente 2009 stage on Saturday to prove that they are one of the best folkish acts you can experience live!

SARGEIST will come directly from the deep pits of hell to desecrate for the first time portuguese soil. The Black Metal Ritual will happen on friday 11th. All Black Metal fans invited!

Now, to end this announce like it should be, closing this bill with golden key, we're very honoured and proud to welcome the Folk Metal kings that will transport all the audience to the middle age. Sunday night FINNTROLL will perform their king size show right on top of the mountain!

CE2009 Newsflash v3.0

First of all, we would like to profoundly acknowledge all people that already elected Caos Emergente as foremost choice for 2009! 

To behold that, our most optimistic expectations concerning the pre-sale have been totally overcome, hit us as a great wave of energy and support. 

It's encouraging to realize that, much before the festival date, pre-sale numbers already triumph over half of the capacity of the new prepared arena for 9000 braves that have chosen to test their endurance through the challenge of surviving Caos. 

In order to avoid last minute panic to get the low-priced 3-day ticket or the usual queues at the festival door ticket-sale, we suggest you to acquire the tickets on the available selling points. 
The enthusiasm seems to be spread through all places and events that Caos Emergente's staff and Street Team organized, visited and promoted the festival. 

To all that support us, we assure a mythical edition that will remain imprinted in your memories! More news will be added in the next few days!

A região litoral de Vagos, nas proximidades da cidade de Aveiro, será palco da primeira edição do Vagos Open Air, nos dias 7 e 8 de Agosto.
Do cartaz desta primeira edição fazem parte AMON AMARTH, THE GATHERING, DARK TRANQUILLITY, KATATONIA, EPICA, CYNIC, KATHAARSYS e DAWN OF TEARS nas confirmações internacionais juntamente com os portugueses PROCESS OF GUILT, THEE ORAKLE, F.E.V.E.R. e ECHIDNA.
Este festival consegue assim, a fusão de duas organizações nacionais como a Prime Artists juntamente com a Ophiusa Eventos que regiam os respectivos anteriores festivais, Alliance Fest e In Ria Rocks. Com o objectivo de se firmar como o festival de Verão de referência no metal em Portugal, o Vagos Open Air constitui-se como um dos grandes acontecimentos dos próximos meses.
O espaço do festival facultará de todos os meios necessários para a permanência no local durante os dois dias, como área de campismo (gratuito para os possuidores do passe geral), espaços de lazer (Paintball, Tiro ao Alvo, Slide), zonas de restauração, merchandising, assim como o acesso a outras áreas de lazer fora do recinto do Festival.

Bilhete diário = 25 euros
Passe dois dias = 40 euros
 
Jovens até aos 12 anos têm desconto de 50%, excepto na campanha de passe com oferta de T-shirt.

Malevolent Creation and Vomitory pulled off.

We're terribly sorry that due to their agency unprofessionalism, we've have been forced to cancel both bands from this year's edition from Caos Emergente.
First of all we would like to clear that both bands are completely innocent. This situation was caused by their agency, which built up their European tour thinking mainly of Caos Emergente.
All the touring itinerary was drawn 3 months ago having the festival as one of the tour highlights.
Initially we were reluctant concerning Malevolent Creation, as most of you know they were supposed to play in 2008 and their agency at that time cancelled their European tour, so we're expecting what how would their fans react with a new scheduled date in our festival, we accepted the challenge anyway ignoring what would comes next. After three months of the contracts been signed,the agency just drop us an e-mail blackmailing us to pay more than the double, otherwise they would cancel the show. We really don't enforce this kind of behaviours, not just for a money question but because we can't develop business relations with "rip off's" with bad intentions. So we took the hard decision of abdicate from Vomitory and Malevolent Creation, otherwise we wouldn't sleep in peace thinking of what would happen next. We passed the case to our lawyer which is already taking the necessary procedures.
Anyway, at this moment we're only working with serious and responsible companies, so we assure you that this was the first and only cancellation on this year edition.
Probably most of you have noticed that Caos Emergente is developing in many ways since the previous editions. We're paying attention to every single detail so we can archive the preference from you all. You won't be disappointed with the next confirmations which are about to be announced. You can't believe what's coming next, so keep tuned in our site which will be frequently updated with fresh news.
