Just wanted to thank everyone involved with the EVOLE FEST 2012 last Friday. We played about an hour set at around 2 in the morning and people got down...it would have been cool to hear it echoing through the ski slope mountain side as the filthy, funky grooves poured out the Ski Lodge windows, but it was much cooler inside
BIG THANKS TO ERIC for inviting us to EQUIFUNK. Seriously, this was a class act festival with all the trimmings...tickets included bungalow camphouse lodging, food and BEER and there was never a shortage of anything. From the chicken wraps at the pool to the rib/steak/chicken bbq to the midnight pizzas and of course the coffee and cheesecake. The Raditors tore it up and the New Mastersounds def showed us they are the MASTERS of funky Sounds.
Our own MUPPET got to sit in with them for a little jam and video of that will be popping up soon! Keep your eyes peeled
And last but not least the MEETING OF THE MINDS in Wind Gap. Fantastic site. Fantastic music. Fantastic PEOPLE!! I really don't think I saw anyone with a frown the whole weekend. Again video will be popping up of our entire performance there. Thank you Jon & Erin and all the bands. Again our in house MUPPET sat in with Agent Moosehead, Juggling Suns & The Backroad.
And WE had a VERY special guest sit in with us. A young lad by the name of ORION had gotten a hula-hoop lesson from Tina (SPIRIT HOOPS) in the childrens area. He practicing all day and asked if he could come up and hoop during some of our music. HE ROCKED!
Currently we are working on some new material for our upcoming album, two tracks are completed: Dutch Oven Pizza & On The Prime
We are working on a Halloween gig too!!
