There aren't enough outlets for our soul music artists.  Many of you have mourned the loss of "The Flow" on XM radio.  On BET J, "The List" is a tv program which serves as a great outlet.  Now, BET J is threatening to take it off of the air.  Please read this letter from one of the hosts, Myoshi and take a second to help us fight for it.

Our show, The BET J List, may not be returning for a third season!


Hosted by former WWE wrestler and Surreal Lifer Maven Huffman and songstress Myoshi Marilla, The J List is a two-hour countdown show featuring the top 10 Soul Music Videos as well as a top 10 list focusing on pop culture and lifestyle in New York City and the world. The series also features up-to-date music and entertainment news and live performances by well known and up and coming artists like Aaron Neville, W. Ellington Felton, Ruben Studdard, Bilal, Mikki Howard, Maysa, The Brand New Heavies and many more.

Success Stories VII: Anthony David Featured in People Magazine

Many of you are familiar with HNL family member, Anthony David.  He has graced the Harmony In Life stage many times.  This week (January 22^nd issue) he graces the pages of People magazine where he is mentioned as one of the elite soul singers alongside Brian McKnight.  He was also featured in last month's Ebony magazine.

"Chemical" is featured on a Jane Magazine/Maybelline Cosmetics compilation released in November 2006.  The ladies will be featured in Jane magazine soon.

Don't forget the "Harmony In Life" show is this Saturday, October 14^th at Sugar Hill Lounge in the Underground Atlanta.  The doors open at 8pm and the show starts at 9pm.
