Laid down the rhythm track (and lead) with and for LM today - sounding good - sort of ZZ Top meets Jimi...also been working on DE's new album and will be doing an album with DD. All happening.

I know, I know, you think I've jumped on the Christmas band-wagon...well, no. I was inspired one summer in France to write this song - it came out of "nowhere"! It's been a long time getting together...the Roland drums had to be repaired and originally I tapped out the drum part from a keyboard! Then I decided to do the whole thing again. Then I went back to the original and laid a (now fixed) Roland part on top! But the story of its evolution was yet to be finished. Having played the song to guitarist PK - he suggested shortening the whole thing and going from the Middle 8 into the key change. That was fun to do! But, hey - here's the finished thing:

Great to see the track "Breathe Life" (although it gets an alternative title!) being played on an Americana FM radio channel - great to see it's in a line-up that includes Taylor Swift! Gram Parsons is there too and that spread covers a few decades...Waiting for the EPs Where is the Fighter? & Keep Christmas to be added to Spotify.
