staying at this venue i watched Moleck, who i had seen once before supporting That Fucking Tank in Wakefield. i can't remember that first time as i was pretty smashed, but this time more than made up for that fact! they created a proper wall of noise with two guitars and a 6-string bass, and an absolute machine of a drummer! i could easily compare them musically to the likes of Rolo Tomassi or The Quiet Kill, with "quieter" parts reminiscent of Battles or even 65daysofstatic. however, the vocals made them different from all the above, being more of a "standard" voice, which seemed to be their link to normality! i'll deffo be buying some material from this lot!
