Anyone know knows me knows that I am a private individual by nature.  However, O have decided to comment on something that has been bothering me for months now.  It means that I had to break a literal silence.




Sorry, to go all emotional on you all, but a girl is surely allowed one breakdown, isn't she?

This is just a short note to say that I will be a little more accessible through MySpace than I was previously.  Up until today, I had no clue that you had to opt-in to receive e-mail notifications of people sending you messages.  As a result, people would send me messages left and right, and I'd have no idea of their communication until months later.

Now, I should get back to you in a few days at worst.  I'll be notified of your comments as soon as you send them to me, so the days of two months or two years between messages are over.

Sometimes I wonder if it's worth keeping my MySpace account open, given all of the other services out there?  But then again there are a few people, most notably fellow Blade fan Andre, who wonder about me, so I guess I should find something to do with this space.

I was half tempted to post screenshot comics on here, but then I realized no one would care but me, so I gave it up.

I keep forgetting to use this service, which is somewhat sad, because MySpace has gotten a lot better than it was in the past.  I'm just upset because there are so many things I want to write, but I keep defaulting to LiveJournal instead.

So if there's anyone out there, please let me know.

So I was watching the inauguration on Headline News, listening to the new president speak, when all of a sudden, this happens...



...just why.

First of all, let me just wish a Happy New Year to everyone out there.  Even though the weather is frightful, I am fortunate enough to have electricity, heat, and abundant water.  Sadly, there are many people around the world who lack these luxuries that I take for granted.  However, instead of worrying about what I cannot change, instead I will focus on what I can change, which leads to the subject matter of this post.

With the new year comes resolutions, many of which I have already broken.  One of which is to use services that I have neglected, such as MySpace, in an effort to reach out to people.  I've spent too long focusing on petty individuals who hold grudges and greet me with acrimony.  Instead, let me look toward the future and forget about the past.  Baggage is too heavy and while it kept me grounded, it's time for my spirit to soar on the winds of liberty.

I've been thinking of making the transition to MySpace for a variety of reasons, mainly due to the fact that this service does offer a better interface that it did previously.  However, I worry that I will be perhaps the only person on MySpace who will actually be disconnected, as many of my closer friends do not use MySpace.

Can I make some new friends to fill the void?  Or will I be posting to myself here?

Since there's a handy theme editor that now comes with MySpace, I think I will be using this service much more often, now.  I still love my other site, though so who says I can't have both?

In case anyone is out there, yes I still live.

I have My Space, and I have nothing on it.  This is probably the way it will be for the time being.  Maybe I'll throw something together.
