So 09 is with us?? so far '7days..' has progressed nicely since the 'birth' as an idea a couple of years ago; 2007 saw the real birth as a musical force with 'actual' songs, which made it on to radio and clubs and also won a number of accolades online, and then 08 continued that success and generated lots of interest  and more radio play and then the successful release party of the latest e.p. "Violence is Golden" which be the launchpad for what I hope will be a continuation of the progression, and mark a big year for sevendaysofnight.

As well as the promotion of 'Violence.....' as I'm sure many of you have seen there is also a remix project underway (see previous blog for more details), which so far is coming along nicely and will feature a rocking remix by Combichrist. While this continues to chug along I'm looking to get the live line up sorted and continue to work on new stuff, as well carry on with the promotional shizzle.

Hopefully the remix e..p. and live band will emerge around spring time, and then we'll be looking to get a show on the road. And then also work on an album for the end of the year!

Busy Times!

Anyway keep an eye out for stuff, the aforementioned Combi remix is imminent, and a page full of the other mixes is a definite possiblity!

Hi everyone as you already know, my e.p. "Violence is Golden" was released on December 1st, when working on that, i also had in mind a follow up...a remix collection of the tracks...which will be "Violence is Golden: Restitched", and will be ready around february time! This will feature a rocking remix that I've already recieved from Combichrist that I cant wait for you all to hear!! And mixes by myself and others....now for the competition part.....do u want those 'others' to be you?? If so check out the zipped remix stem collections below and send me your remix of either track or both: "Free Your Mind" or "Violence is Golden"! Best track or tracks will feature on the collection, alongside the Combichrist mix, and more!! Closing date is 1st of FEB!!

startin to wonder if thats gonna be the right avenue tho.....comin up with more tracks and some older ones are rearin thier heads..its an eclectic bunch of tunes...should be interesting

its hard goin but will be worth it!!

just a quick update while im online

was hoping for a mayday release for ’violence is golden’ but theres bin a lot goin on had a few problems...theres a few songs in the mix and some are near completion but others are still in demo stage...i think there’s gonna be a few more weeks of ironing out bits n bobs then a few more weeks recording after that so a summer release looks more likely at the moment...the extent of which im undecided on....

theres still loads of ideas goin round and bin talk about videos and stuff, also competitions to look out for...and the may edition of ’devolution magazine’ is to feature a seven days tune on the cover cd, so still bits goin on....keep checking back!!!
