Hey guys,

So Myspace is continuously slowing down and it seems that Facebook is winning the battle of online social sites. Good news! I now have a fan page for all you Facebookers to join http://www.facebook.com/pages/Patrick-Pitu/58732498623
Just copy and paste that link into your browser and become a fan!

This page is for all you wonderful supporters to keep track of what I'm doing on Fbook. I will of course be keeping my Myspace up but that may change some day if Myspace continues to lose users. So please come be a friend, fan, supporter... whatever!

Thanks!

Current mood:  hopeful
Hey guys,

As some of you may know, I lost my grandfather from complications of Alzheimer's around this time last year. It's a devistating disease to have to experience and my grandfather was one of my favorite people.
Anyway, LDI Casting is doing their annual Alzheimer's walk and taking donations because they rock. I like to spread the word every year for those of you in RI who want to walk or if you want to be a couch potato that's cool too. You can just send a check from wherever you are for any amount! Every little bit helps.

I cannot stress how important it is to help find a cure for this disease. It could affect all of us someday either personaly or a family member. The more we give, the faster they can stop this. Meanwhile Alzheimers has moved up to the 5th or 6th cause of death in the U.S.

If you want to help please send a check made out to Alzheimers Association to:

You can find info and join Anne Mulhall's team for the walk here:

I would love to hear that Patrick Pitu's Alzheimers Crew kicked ass!
Spread the word and forward to your friends!

Thanks for all your help!!

In other news, I'm working my buns off to catch a break this year.
Brotherhood is starting up their third season and I'm crossing my fingers once again!
Please send some positive vibes my way!

Current mood:  determined
Hello friends,

I’ll be attending a signing at the FYE store at 485 Arsenal St.in Watertown Massachusetts on Saturday April 12th. I’ll be signing copies of the newly released Divine Intervention with some of my fellow cast members and Director, Rufus Chaffee, in case any of you find my autograph of any value whatsoever. Divine is a wacky horror/comedy that doesn’t take itself too serious so if you want to come down and check it out, you are more than welcome to. I had a great time making it.

Other than that, your buddy Pat has been working hard and attending auditions. I came really close to a role in the new Scorsese film Ashecliffe but no dice. I also just auditioned for a small part in "Bride Wars" starring Kate Hudson and Anne Hathaway.  It’s a tough racket when people can’t easily put a label on you, which they love to do in this industry but I’m busting my ass and I’m determined to catch some breaks.

Happy Spring!!!

Current mood:  grateful
Well the writer strike appears to finally be coming to end and thank God! It's been a rough few months for actors and everyone in the industry. Hopefully things will get back and booming and our favorite TV shows can keep cranking out new episodes.

Speaking of favorite shows, has anyone been catching the new season of Lost? SO GOOD! That show never ceases to amaze me. It's completely captivating but what's up with the commericals every 5 seconds? Is it just me or have they become super gratuitous? Anyway, I'm looking forward to more episodes and maybe a secret or two revealed (come on for Christ's sake!).

Not much else to report. This month, I'll be heading over to Rhode Island to lay down some ADR for a short film I worked on just about a year ago called Making the Picture. Don't ask me why it has taken this long but I'm psyched that it's nearing completion. It's one of the best projects I've ever had the pleasure of working on. It should be hitting festivals at some point.

Anyway, hope everyone has a wonderful Valentines, filled with hot dates and chocolates!

Love and happy labor unions,

Patrick

Current mood:  sad

I just wanted to write a quick note regarding the sudden and very tragic loss of Heath Ledger. He was one of our most talented actors and I'm deeply saddened that the world must go on without such a tremendous and insightful performer. His passing will truely leave a gaping hole in the entertainment world. I would have loved to see where his career would take him next.

Rest in peace.

Hello friends,

It's been a while so I thought I'd leave a little something. Last week I was honored to spend a day on set with Christopher Walken and Morgan Freeman. Two amazing actors I have admired for quite some time. I also had a conversation with Marcia Gay Harden who is the sweetest, most down to Earth lady you'll ever meet. I didn't work with them directly but it was great to just stand next to them.

I've been traveling from state to state as usual. Auditioning here and there and scoping out work. The WGA strike needs to end. It's been going on far too long and it's affecting work for everyone.

Did everyone catch the season finale of Brotherhood on Showtime? What a great show! If you haven't seen it yet, make sure you check it out! Support a great show that's filmed entirely in Rhode Island and gives the actors there lots of work! Season 1 is available on DVD and Season 2 is on demand right now. If you liked Sopranos, check this show out! It's one of my favorites! I'm sure Season 3 is on it's way and I can't wait to watch and hopefully perform. Just gotta get that right part! Give Blake Masters a call and ask him why he hasn't hired me yet.

That's all I have for now. Hope everyone's holiday season is going well.

Love and Irish mob assassins,

Patrick

It's been a while. I've been totally focused lately and busting my ass non-stop but all the hard work has seemed to pay off. I've just been signed with the Carson-Adler Agency and now have my own agent! I'm very excited to be working with them and everyone at the agency is super nice. I've learned that determination (and a little stubborness) can get you anywhere, you just have to have incredible amounts of it and always find a way to get back up when you're down. I think my gramps would be proud. I only wish he were here to help me celebrate. I'm psyched to see where my career will go from here. I'm going to work extra hard now and do my best to take it to the next level.

Thanks for all the love and support!

A couple of things to announce...

First and foremost, thanks to everyone who messaged and or commented me to wish me a happy birthday! I was overwhelmed by the amount of notifcation emails my inbox received. You guys are the best!

In film news, I've just been cast in "15 Minutes," a short drama from writer Kevin J. Bergeron and Blank Pictures. I'll be playing "Colt." If you attended Boston Film Night last year you may remember one of their shorts starring Vic Clay as an over-sized cat which, by the way, was the product of my good friend and FX artist, Ben Chester. It was really well done so I'm amped to work with these guys. The short should hit festivals upon completion.

Secondly, I have a new site up! It's a lot simpler and to the point. It just needed to be changed and most of it is way more operational now. It's still undergoing a few tweaks but it's pretty much there.

That's it for now. The next few weeks are looking to be pretty busy and exciting for me. Hope to bring you guys some more news soon!

Stay warm,

Patrick

Hello friends! It's been a while. I've been busy attending some auditions and working on small projects. Last week I met comedy legend Steve Martin and Andy Garcia. Pretty cool, eh? I'm also getting mentally prepared for turning 25 next week. Yikes! Quarter of a century old! Well, at least I still get carded at the liquor store, clubs, movie theaters...

Anyway, more importantly, the new season of Brotherhood is airing on Showtime! If you haven't seen it already, check it out! It's a great show. I have a bunch of friends on the cast this time around. Check out the new episodes to see my buddy Peter Berkrot as Detective Jonesie and Scott Winters as Ahmet Zahadi. They both did a great job and I'm psyched for them.

I know you're disappointed - no Pitu. Maybe next season you'll see my shining face.
