Current mood: anxious
Category: Blogging
First off, I have to apologize for the hundreds of messages I didn't return over the last couple of months. So, I'm going to be an ass and not even attempt to respond to all of them--please don't hate me Starting now, I'm back to responding to as many new messages as I can.
Alas--I have been on a much deserved vacation from music. My sanity has returned.
A lot has happened since then: the Sopranos is over , the final Harry Potter book came out , and I've parted musical ways with Derek, Scott, and Jesse. Don't worry--we are all still very dear friends, and FFN is still very much alive.
What does this mean? Well, back to the studio for me.
First I'm recording the demo for my new solo project, Striking Back. There will be some more announcements on that soon. In the meantime, take your sweet asses to myspace.com/strikingbackmusic and send me a friend request. Warning for you metal heads: this project is me and my piano busting out some pop nuggets.
Second, I'll be recording the demo for FFN's first full length. There will be some more announcements on that soon.
Finally, I'm (informally at this point) taking on another rock project with another fabulous musician here in Seattle. We'll play this one by ear for the time being. I'll let you know when we work out the details.
Mostly, I just want to say "WTF is up people?" and "I'm back."
Peace,
Jordan
P.S. Sorry for the novel.

You read it right. Go to www.fightingfornothing.com and visit the downloads section. There you can download free ringtones of "Alcohol," "Today," and "What is Wrong."
They support most carriers and most phone makes/models.
Please keep in mind that your carrier may apply a small charge for the file download to your phone.

What a great time! Drunk ass Derek screaming into the microphone "Thank you very much!" at the end of the set was a classic moment in FFN history. We will cherish it forever...
Thanks to MEST for being cool to us, and thanks to all you crazy fans who made it out-- except for the one who jacked me in the mosh pit during Mest's set...

Hey we had a great time playing with Something Corporate at Gonzaga University. Did you all have a good time or what?! I ripped my jeans while swinging my guitar around my head. Fun times. - Jordan
