Here are some of the photographed memories I have from our recent tour of Japan w/ Spencer Doran
& the irreplaceable Thanksgiving Brown. We met so many wonderful people, very few of which we
could communicate through words with, so thru music we spoke. A lot of these flicks are just pieces
of our downtime, skimming the overall experience. We were only in Tokyo, Osaka, Kyoto and Nagoya (6-7
shows in total). There are so many more places I'd like to discover in Japan the next time I'm there.
Enjoy.

----

*First night was dope, we ate tons of unbelivable sushi and drank the coldest of Yebisu's from these incredible metal mugs (a must have), it seemed like the drinks never stopped (love that). Interestingly
enough my old friend Jeffery 'jel' Logan (Subtle/anticon) was in Japan for a short solo tour himself. Thankfully we brought together our promotional entities peacefully and were able to break bread together.
Jel is the man BTW. (sorry the photo is fuzzy, not my camera)

*"Osaka: I rocked you, I rocked you" (Bonus Cut: Peep The Sty in My Eye)

*Tradtional Osaka Teppanyaki = Osakanyaki (I'm not spelling it right, but was amazing)

*The show in Osaka seemed like it was going to be off tha wall, it was packed.
Alas, we went on last and were the only pale-faced Americans in the building.
When we got on most of the crowd backed into the corners of the venue. I even
jumped down on the floor & rapped as to engage concert goers, but they mostly
politely backed away from me. So, in turn, we all went out afterwards and
the promoters got me wasted. Bonus, my man Jel had a show in Osaka the
night before (w/ Twiggy). We went to a decent sushi spot, but primarily drank.
They served sake in this odd 2 cup-combo that had the
tradtional square cup holding the shot-cup - and that they both had sake in it -
but it just looked like it was runoff or something. Didn't translate to me.
But I drank both regardless, and after countless cups, (as I do) I laid down on
my seat and quitely fell asleep talking (shit about the industry. Here is a funny
photo of Jel offering me more.
NEXT DAY (?):

*Turtles @ the Temple - Kyoto (we also went to the ill Samurai nastle in later Nagoya - not pictured)

*Kyoto was my favorite, peep the GLK T too!
*2 Way View ...

*Redslippers Is a Must

*We had the ill temple right outside of our telly room!

*One of countless ill-eating-experiences.

*White Sunglasses Band soundcheck @ Japonica - Nagoya

*Spencer Doran on drums @ Japonica - Nagoya

*Bean Ice-Cream. I opted for the Bean Sandwhich and also the Ice Cream on Toast (not pictured).

*Back in Tokyo, my man T (formerly from Green Milk)'s birthday! Let the muthafuckin (drinkin) games
begin! T is my man! We ate yummy Horse meat right before this.

*(LEFT) Tetsa' (of the band Dmonstrations) in the HOUSE. He's from and currently lives in Tokyo. But
spent a lot of time in San Diego and Santa Cruz (and has toured the world with his band).

*By the last day I felt like the bottom of a shoe. But the show must go on!

*The Stash

*Last night of the tour, Spencer signing some girl's iPod.
Well, that's a lot of memories. Couldn't of asked for a better trip and experience. Shout out everyone
that we met and that took care of us. Peace Satosi & Easel Records for actually bringing us out
and releasing Female Fun projects in Japan. Maybe I'll do a part two if I find some more goodies in my camera.
Thanks for peepin these!
