Current mood: pugnacious
This song was loosely inspired by the tragic events recently discovered in Austria pertaining to Josef Fritzl. It never ceases to amaze me the extremes people will take to maintain. Never let me speak his name again.
Fortunately much hope can arise from tragedy, it is merely our responsibility to ensure it does.
Musically, this electro-rap club banger was composed mostly in garage band, and later laden with samples and complimentary drum loops I stole from the government.
The rap verses attempt to capture the feelings of the modern "Everyman" and the questions and doubts he faces today. The 'chorus' is Mr. Pulcher's response to man, attempting to emanate hope through a slightly different perspective of classical historical ideas.
And we must remember, sometimes, all one can do, is get down.

Here's your first preview of new album tracks. About 85% completed, still lacking vocal and sample tracks, 'Astone Beflex' shows some of the power potential of my new toy, the microKorg.

Current mood: thankful

I have Disorder to thank for this one. Though it took me over a month, a glorious month in which I had laptop power supplies and external hard drives die on me, I could not be happier with how this turned out.
I am going to have to do many more remixes. Check out the original, Stone Empire, along with many other amazing "progressive industrial" (though I hate to slap labels on thing, these humas beings surely like their labels) tunes free for download, at the home of the very talented, Disorder.

This track, on the upcoming album Simulacrism from the Jazz Robot, (the first album production under my belt), features Mr. Pulcher on percussion as well.
Robot poetry by The Jazz Robot himself. This is jungle love.

Current mood: okay
This track, featured on the upcoming album Simulacrism from the Jazz Robot, (the first album production under my belt), is highlighted by robot poetry written by my good friend, Louis Kroeck.
The music consists of myself spinning 8 organ tracks on vinyl. This one's a one way ticket to space. Likely to cause dizziness, light-heatedness, and confusion in the uninitiated. This is a good thing. Download 03 Global Guts...

So I've decided to set the Merkaba release circa Christmas, 2007. Christmas Day would be good, everybody rejoice. But until then I would love to work together with some artists on MySpace in as many ways possible.
Let me know what you are trying to do and I would love to throw in my two cents. I'll rap saxophone, space out the pops, or glitch showtunes, whatever you may need. Coauthoring situations ideal. Big up.

Well times are good on Penny Lane. I've been in the lab with a pen and a pad and the upcoming album, Merkaba, is taking prime form. So for the handful of fans I've gathered, and the throngs of musicians I have met via MySpace, I decided to give you a taste of what is to come, by bashing your brain in with a sledgehammer. Metaphorically, of course. I have taken 12 of the album tracks as they stand to this day, in various stages of disrepair, mixed them all together in a rather haphazard, yet insanely methodic manner, and a 6 minute 42 second mega-mix has emerged for your listening pleasure. If you listen, I will rap. Disclaimer: Mr. Pulcher is not responsible for any auditory/mental/spiritual damage/anguish/enlightenment that may occur from successive listenings. Tell your friends.
