Tour update for the Helstar European tour 2009

Direct support will be Swedish metal band Loch Vostok, apart from the first 3 dates, where Germany’s Lanfear will be carrying out the duty.

It has come to our attention that the Locomotive Records North American release for the new album, “The King of Hell”, contains a misprint.  The CD booklets and back track listing include the following Bonus Tracks: 10. White Witch, 11. Tormentor (Sins of the Past version), 12. Caress of the Dead (Sins of the Past version).  These songs are not on the Locomotive Records CD itself.  Only the AFM Records European release was packaged with the three bonus tracks.

Helstar apologizes to its fans for the mistake, although the error was on behalf of Locomotive Records and beyond the band’s control.

The main distributor for “The King of Hell’ North American release is Ryko Distribution.  Ryko has exceptional distribution throughout the U.S.  “The King of Hell” is available in many North American music stores, such as Best Buy and even Target.  If for some reason it cannot be found, a simple request to have the store order it should solve the problem.  In most cases, the store will drop ship the CD to your address.

Presenting the first ever HELSTAR music video: "Pain Will Be Thy Name"!!!

The band recorded the live video footage on December 6, 2008, in Baytown, TX.  The official video release date for "Pain Will Be Thy Name" is today, January 6, 2009.

The full music video will debut on Robb's Metal Works January 2009 episode, which also features an interview with HELSTAR guitarists Larry Barragan and Rob Trevino.  The program airs on Sunday, January 18^th at 10:00 PM on San Antonio, TX, Time Warner Cable channel 50.
