Louisianna Show Cancelled!

Due to  circumstances beyond our controll tomorrow nights show (18.11.09) has been cancelled!

We are really sorry about this guys - we are as gutted as you are but the promoter has had to pull the show at the last minute. Hopefully all should be re-sheduled in the very near future, so we will keep you posted of course!

We will be releasing our Disharmonious E.P on 7.12.09 on Inner City Grit Records Bristol U.K,

Disharmonious is a remix E.P of Bristolian Alternative rock band and fellow I.C.G Label mates Avacate. Mike Smith basicly let us loose on the 'master tapes' and weve been going mental with it. we found lots of out takes and stuff that was never used by the band theres lots of Troy Ellis Improves which is fantasticly fun material to work with.
we cut everything up destroyed it all and then brought it back to life as our own alien creation.

We have put up two of the tracks for you to try out before release date.

Hey we would just like to say a MASSIVE THANK YOU to Wilb at the Wunder Bar (mid summer norton) for having us at his wonderful Independant Venue, a fantastic place its just like the places we play in Europe!! its very rare to find a venue this cool and welcoming on these shores.

we will be returing to play there again next year.

Hey hey our internet friends!

We have two reviews for you. One for the dutch speaking among us and an English one too!
The English review had been posted here before, but there was a discrepancy over where we had quoted from. This has now been resolved so please enjoy!

Dutch Version on 3Voor12:

"In de Exit was het zondag de beurt aan twee bands om zich te presenteren aan het Rotterdamse publiek. Als eerste speelde Ceremony, een 4-koppige band, die jaren ’80 wave/punk met stevige rock combineerde.  Deze combi zorgde ervoor dat de sound origineel bleef en nergens eentonig werd. Het optreden had enkele ijzersterke hoogtepunten.  De zangeres kwam af en toe zenuwachtig over. Tijdens de solo’s van de gitarist wist ze zich niet altijd een houding te geven. Dat is jammer, want ze beschikt over een goede stem en potentie om te groeien in haar performance.
De tweede band van de avond, Avacate, wist qua zang en performance het publiek meer te overtuigen. Avacate is een band met tegenstellingen. Aan de ene zijde een expressieve zangeres en een bij vlagen manische en drukke gitarist en aan de andere kant een “zenachtige” rustige bassist. Deze combi zorgt voor het yin-yang principe in de band. De zangeres wist met haar stem en podiumpresentatie beter te overtuigen dan de Ceremony.
Kortom: twee zeer verschillende bands met twee sterke frontvrouwen. Duidelijk is gebleken dat Avacate deze avond overtuigender was en een betere performance heeft neergezet. Avacate is een band die iedereen zou moeten checken."

Indeed we are back and have been a little slow in getting back into things of late after a much needed post tour holiday.....

Anyways Big love thanks and respect to all our new friends, all the cool Dutch people we met who showed love support and an enjoyment of our music.....

We can’t thank you all enough for your hospitality and incredible humour, if only the English could adopt the phrase ‘It’s no problem’ instead of ‘it might be/could be/should be’ then the U.K underground music scene would be a more vibrant place?....
