Hey kids, You may have noticed we haven't done much in a while. It's because we haven't played as Plagiarists in a while. Check out the new band Rabbit Rabbit at myspace.com/rabbitrabbittheband where we do our new stomp.
It will just be Eric leading the ship in a little while, as the rest of us are moving to California, New York City and Norway in the next couple of months.
We had a great time playing with and for all of you, and we hope to see you wherever you may end up.
A big thank you to everyone who helped us out along the way, and an even bigger thank you to those who stuck with us from the beginning.
All the best, Mikael

The August issue of Metro Magazine has highlighted Literal Scene as their 'CD of the Month' saying: "The sophomore release from this quintet of recent St. Olaf grads combines twitchy guitars, lissome xylophone and keyboard fills, and big-riffed choruses to create an enticing blend of highly accessible indie-rock."Pretty cool. The issue is on newsstands now and the piece can be seen here as well. Hey, we like Dosh and Dance Band, too!

plagiarists are embarking on the first leg of our national tour this monday. we'll be venturing to Cincinnati, Baltimore, Philadelphia, New York and Cleveland. we're quite excited to sit in a van with each other for hours at a time (minus mike, he eats a lot of spicy food). we're looking for fun things to do in these cities, so if you have any ideas or would like to meet up with us, just send us a message or post a comment and we'll make it happen. also, if there is something you want to see the plagiarists doing just drop us a note and we'll try to catch it on film and post it. thanks to those of you who have helped to make this possbile - and to those who continue to support us. we'll see you on the road! yours, plagiarists

Hello online community, Well, it's happened. After four long years of intensely focused studying, all five Plagiarists are now proud graduates of St. Olaf College! We went through liberal-arts hell to get here and, boy, does it feel amazing now.
We know what you're thinking: "What? Graduate from college? Does this mean the end of Plagiarists? My life has no meaning anymore!!!"
First of all, wow, that's very flattering. Secondly, get a grip, weirdo. Just because we are graduates does NOT me we are parting ways. In fact, we'll be going at it even harder than before. Exciting, I know. Plagiarists now become priority number-one for all of us and we hope that this newly acquired focus will allow us to spread the noise we make even further.
Our first post-grad mission is to travel around the US to play some shows, so check out our page for posted dates and keep checking back for more as they're updated. Hey, we've got a van now so we'll be able to hop from city to city in style. Boo ya.
That's all for now. See you in another life, brotha.
