So I feel like a complete idiot right now. I drove to Indiana for a two week vaction but primarily to go to my 10 year class reunion.  However I got the date wrong and missed the stupid thing.  I was highly annoyed but I ended up spending the evening with my adorable nieces and nephew, so that kind of makes up for it.  Now I have no idea what I'm going to do the rest of the time I'm here.  I don't have a lot of money so I can't go shopping, or to the theme parks in the area, and there's not a whole lot to do in Indiana.  So now I'm just sitting at my little sisters house with nothing to do.  I've been spending a lot of time thinking about things and I've realized that when one aspect of a person's life is good the rest is crap.  My job is amazing but I have no personal life.  No surprise since I am at work 15 or so hours a day.  I am looking into graduate school but it's so expensive and I work for a Not-for-profit organization,  meaning my paycheck is next to nothing.  I'm just in a rut right now and I'm not sure where to go, or how to get there.  If anyone actually reads this and has any ideas please let me know cause I'm getting antsy and need a change in my life.  I feel stagnant.  I guess that's all for now.

So things have been crazy.  We had two groups out on canoe trips so there were less of us to supervise the woods.  The groups are back, but now they are sending a co-worker and I to one of the other camps for two weeks to help out.  It's called E-Kele-Tu and it's over in Silver Springs, FL.  I did finally get out of that old position, I'm a supervisor now.  I constantly have new and different projects that I'm working on and I rarely have time to do anything.  Sleep seems to be a thing of the past.  But it's great.  At the end of the day I feel great about what I've done for the girls at camp.

Well, I've been on vacation back in Indiana to see my family for Thanksgiving.  The part that really sucks is that I was never able to get a hold of my brother to go see him and his kids.  Ok so there is a lot about being in Indiana that sucks but not seeing my brother and his girls is the Biggest thing that sucks.  I fly back to Florida tomorrow and I can't wait to get back to a place that is warm.  I've been a bit out of sorts though because my phone hasn't been working right and keeps dropping calls and not ringing so then I miss calls.  I'm happy to be going back to work, Yes I like my job!  I just hope I get oput of the rut that I've been in.  I've been stuck in a position I should have gotten out of 6 months ago.  Hopefully it will all work out soon.  Well I think I've rambeled long enough, this was just a quick update.  I hope to do this more often.

So I just found out that my favorite band, Godsmack, is taking a "break" for a while.  This makes me want to cry cause who knows if they will ever be done with this "break".  It's a good thing I went and saw them when I did!  On a happier note I just rented a house with one of my co-workers.  We will be moving in over the next couple of weeks. It's only like 5 minutes from camp and a cop is my neighbor.  This makes me feel very safe.  For my friends in Indiana I'll be home for Halloween and Thanksgiving.  Hope to see you all then.

OH MY GOD!!!!! I went to a Godsmack concert last night and it was F#&%ing amazing!!!!!!  I can't say enough!  I know most of you(my friends) aren't that big into Godsmack, but I adore them and I wish the concert was longer.  Sully is hot.  They play amazing live!!!!  And they do this dueling drums thing that just Rocks.  I saw their tour busses including the trailer that houses Sullys' Harely's and I had the urge to break in, but i have good impulse control.  I wish I had been up close cause they kept throwing out guitar picks and drum sticks.  I was so jelous of the people that got them.  One lucky girl even got Sullys' water bottle. (sigh)  It was amazing and I can now die happy, well first I have to see Pink and U2 but I'm closer anyway.

So I recently got back from a 14 day canoe trip down the Suwannee River. It was amazing!!! I saw tons of alligators including a couple that were 7-8 feet long, beautiful springs, and amazing wild life. We went through rapids and had to portage (or walk) our canoes around some because they were so big.  I had the most amazing time!! These trips are one of the many things that drew me to this job.  I posted 2 pictures from the trip already and I will post more when I have time.
