G’day Folks!!!
We need a bass guitarist! Nay, not just a bass guitarist; a bloody CHAMPION who can become part of the family that is our band
We’re an established, energetic, heavy, fun loving original rock band, with collective influences Live, Alice in Chains, Nickelback, Foo Fighters, Audioslave, Metallica, Tool, The Butterfly Affect, NIN, Stone Temple Pilots, and many others!
To check us out go to www.myspace.com/sparkiris or simply www.sparkiris.com where you can listen to 4 tracks off our EP and watch some live videos.
We love to have fun with the band; that said we’re also serious about it, having already invested a lot of time and money into it, thus we need someone who wants to go all the way with a step-up can-do attitude to join the team!
Here’s the skinny: we’ve just completed our first studio EP, we have a full set ready to go, we have all sorts of contacts and plans in the works, and we want to promote and tour the ass out of this band as far and wide as humanly possible yesterday!
We are already playing shows with a fill in bass guitarist, and we’re receiving many more offers for shows all the time. We’d love to be able to take these offers and of course start booking our own shows with a permanent and full line up.
We’re also currently working on lots of new stuff; collaboration and song ideas will always be welcomed from all band members!
All you will need is: your own transportation, to be between the ages 18-28, and a gig ready rig, and Bob’s your uncle! Also, you must be living in Melbourne Australia!
If you’re interested then please contact us at: sparkiris@hotmail.com with any links, demos, bio info, etc.
CHEERS!

G'day Folks!!!
After months of much talk, much work, and much turmoil: it is here. We have finally finished our debut EP Break The Chain.
As celebration, we have decided to temporarily upload all 6 tracks to our page for you to listen to and tell us what you think.
We will not be releasing the EP onto disk until early next year, but we will be organising downloading for certain tracks soon.
Cheers!
All the boys from SPARK-IRIS

Hello All! Whilst we've been performing on stages across Melbourne this year, we've also been hard at work recording our debut EP with Sam Lowe at Salt Studios.
The EP features 6 tracks including a re-recorded version of our currently home recorded demo "Can You Tell Me."
We cannot confirm a release date at the moment as we still have one final stage of production to go, however the EP has been mixed, and we hope to be uploading songs by mid next month!

Hi Everyone
I would like to spread the word on a benefit album called After The Fire.
After The Fire is a compilation CD that has been put together to help raise money for the survivors of Victoria's recent bushfire tragedy.
Many of the songs on After The Fire were written especially for the album. Some artists appearing on After The Fire include: Joe Camelleri, Renee Geyer, Dale Ryder, Tin Henwood, Shane Howard, and Nashville's Kane/Welch/Kaplin.
All artists donated their time and efforts to make this project work, and all proceeds from the sale of After The Fire will go to the St Vincent de Paul Society of Victoria's Disaster appeal campaign.
I would like to ask everyone if they could help spread the word by copying this bulletin and reposting it as a bulletin from their Mypsace account, as well as adding After The Fire as a friend and putting them in your top friends. I would also like to encourage all to purchase a copy of After The Fire to help raise as much money as possible.
The Myspace address for After The Fire is: www.myspace.com/afterthefirecd
If you go to the Myspace page, you can purchase a copy of the album from there. You can also have a listen to a promo edit, and watch a short documentary on the making of the album.
Thank you all for taking the time to read this.
Sincerely
Jake James
