I know we are totally different store, but we so share the parking lot so I better let you know that the parking lot is unavailable to those who park there when dropping off their P&L merch, but for a good reason.
MASSIVE SALE!!
New Bohemia and New Brohemia went through their "storage" and unearthed all kinds of crazy stuff. Some of it super good and some of it super bad. Bad in the "you look like my grandma from Jersey when she goes to play slots" kind of bad. If you shop at New Bo or Bro, you know what super good is. I must say some of the super good is western snaps that have a cig burn or ink on the pocket, but still totally rad..$12. super good.
The sale is all weekend. All kinds of stuff. Ladies be ready to dig.
Oh and we'll be there from 11am until it gets too dark.

So, we are opening our third store. Am I crazy? Maybe…. for sure. I am one of those crazies who loves anything old and cute (that includes people and dogs). I have tons of merchandise that has never seen the floor and I've decided to change that. Many of you may already know about New Brohemia on S. 1st street (no that's not a typo is says Bro), our men's store full of all of the great vintage snap shirts and cowboy boots that you can find on South Congress and tons more of just about anything else you may need. Anyway, we have opened a ladies vintage shop right next door (behind New Brohemia) that specializes in party clothes and children's vintage. There will be all kinds of great vintage dresses that require a special event, but also super cute day dresses and everyday clothes. Oh and crazy silly stuff that I just can't pass up, but have no idea when or where it could be worn. So if you love vintage as much as I do you should come check it out. Even if you don't you should at least come to our party.
Little Bohemia Pizza Party This Saturday (October 4th)
2209 S. 1st (between Live Oak and Oltorf)
2-8pm There will be pizza and root beer (please bring your own cup) and table tennis. Yep in the middle of the store. If you love to show off your culinary skills you are welcome to bring other snacks. We are a very children friendly bunch so please bring the young ones. Should anyone get bored or antsy the S. 1st art walk will also be happening so you can walk up and down the street and enjoy the art and other activities. I hope to see you there!

Ok I can't believe it has been so long since I've posted something but here is the big news...
We are opening another store for the dudes we know (and don't know).
New Brohemia will be full of rad mens clothes. Okay maybe not all of it will be "rad" but definitely cool clothes for just about any kind of dude. Regular dudes can find regular dude clothes that aren't all hip and fancy and you hip and fancy dudes can come find the awesome snap shirts and belt buckles and ankle boots (we'll keep an eye out for vests too). Oh and suits. We'll have a good assortment of those all of the time for when it is time to look sharp.
New Brohemia (Mens vintage and Resale) 2209 S. 1st (right next door to End of an Ear)
We'll be open noon until ten pm every day.
Expect t-shirts, western snaps, cowboy boots, work boots, dress shoes, belt buckles, suits, cuff links, dress shirts, ties, leather jackets, coats, pants, and some housewares and any other essential dude wear.
The doors will officially open this Saturday, but we may not be totally perfectly set up. If you are curious come check it out. You can even come give me ideas for what I need to try and stock if there is anything you want/need but have a hard time finding.
Hope to see you. Talena

Who wants to hear about Henry coming home?
Now I think he was totally kidnapped. I got a call from Town Lake that they had Henry. They said a woman saw him walking around yesterday evening and put him in her yard and then had Town Lake come and pick him up. When I went to get him they said it was a good thing I had him microchipped (see Cody!) because he didn't have his tags anymore. Now he has a totally different collar on and I know Town Lake didn't give him a collar. The jerks who decided to keep my dog (I am sure) took his old collar off, gave him a new one and then Henry escaped from their house. I think that is what happened. And I am super happy to have my Henry back (even though now I have to deal with my two dogs fighting over who is going to be the dominant one again). And he is really dirty and has a bunch of little booboos on his legs and in his ears. He was eating laying down like normal so I think everything is going to be fine. --talena
