Preorders for Absinthe Junk's debut album are open.
Disc has 10tunes in a swanky little 6panel digipak full of love. Plus
goodies of course. Discs will be released January 2010 but I'm hoping
to have the preorders out before Christmas. Go getcha some Junk! http://www.mypieceofjunk.comOn a sidenote, I'm on YouTube with the band now, posting our shenanigans. You can find me at http://www.youtube.com/absinthejunk. Hope you'll come be my friend and subscribe to our silliness. I'm hoping to post the new tunes soon. SCD's site is still having issues so I haven't been able to post nearly as much on there as I would have liked. Hoping to get that resolved when I get back Monday. Until then... how have y'all been??

Let me dust this off real quick:
Posted a bulletin about this too but thought I'd post it a place more permanent.
The SCD soundtrack is going to disc here soon! In order to produce it we're gonna have to do preorders. The disc will be released in late August for sure. The question lies in whether we will get to mass produce this disc or only make a few for those who end up preordering. So you see how important preordering will be! Preorders will open this week. The disc will be $12.95 plus shipping and will be available internationally.
If anyone has any question shoot me a note!
:) Look forward to this project seeing some life!
Best, Juno

Once you've been tagged, you have to write a blog with 10 random things, facts, habits or goals about yourself. At the end, you choose about 10 people to be tagged, listing their names and why you chose them. Don't forget to leave them a comment or message saying "You're It!" and telling them to read your blog. You can't tag the person who tagged you. Since you can't tag me back, let me know when you've posted your blog so I can see your answers...
1. I'm very oddly OCD. I won't let my bare feet touch tile floors so I'm either always in socks or pushing a towel around in the bathroom floor. If that's not an option I will only walk on my tiptoes.
2. I am probably the pickiest eater in the world. I blame how I was raised. My dad would always pair milk with certain foods, orange juice with others and soda was a lunch thing. Now it's engrained in my head that you can't have things like brownies without milk and it just gets weirder from there.
3. I play around 10 instruments, all at least at an intermediate level. My favorites include viola, sax and steel drum.
4. When I was a kid I wanted to be an artist and an author. Who in the world ever ends up doing exactly what they wanted to do as a kid?
5. One of my favorite pastimes with my dad is storm-chasing. This drove my mom nuts so we typically only did it when we went camping.
6. I've held just about every job you can think of besides cleaning toilets. I've taught lessons for violin and sax, was a waitress, worked in sales at Sears, worked in sales at a Bass Pro Vacation thing, did delivery, fast food, freelance graphic design, did rewrite for the newspaper, gigged weekly in a blues bar and was a web producer for the paper.
7. I cry at just about everything - Grey's Anatomy causes me to bawl just about every time.
8. I used to smoke! And shame on me, I started when I was 17. But I've been smoke free for over a year now. :)
9. I grind my teeth in my sleep, as well as talk in my sleep. Used to actually sing in my sleep.
10. I love thunderstorms. Sitting outside during them is probably one of the most enjoyable things in the world.
Tags
1. Mike - because he married into this even though I know he won't.
2. Sam - because she always has the most interesting things to say about her life. XD
3. Roxie - because she is the definition of random
4. Johnny - because his life is poem and I love the way he thinks
5. Adam - because I fucking said so. ^_- Love ya dear.

Current mood: calm
If you read this journal you need to know that this was a serious rough patch in my life. So I said some weird stuff. And I was severely emo and angsty. Not saying much has changed but hopefully if you read this you'll take that in to account that things may have changed. I've put most of these entries on private but the myspace blog system leaves a lot to be desired. I've missed a bunch and I honestly can't keep going through and trying to figure it out. It's just too poorly designed for my patience. So, that being said I've made some fresh starts. I've reopened my awesomely cool pad, Vague Inklings which has the best of my rants, writings and discussions. Commenting available on that and nifty RSS. I'd love to form a community there but not likely, I know. SO in light of that I've fixed my livejournal. I'm thejuno on there. So if you're on LJ look me up. And with that, this MySpace blog is now officially closed. Hopefully I'll see some of you elsewhere. I'll miss your love.

Current mood: blah
I haven't been here in a while. My other blog was lonely. I'm lonely. Maybe it has nothing to do with the blog. I think my hidden purpose in life is to study people and try to fully understand why they do the stupid things they do. Because there HAS to, in my mind, be a reason for it. Idiocy is just not a good enough reason, imo. My latest interest are people who say, 'Hey let's do this.' and you're dumb enough to believe it will happen. So here we have two stupid people I guess. The liar and the person who actually falls for it. The person who falls for it can't be completely at fault - they were just being trusting and giving life some optimism. The liar may not even intended to lie. It's a conceptual issue then. The liar doesn't understand the magnitude of his ideals in the eyes of the believer. So the believer is the sad person I guess. They do their best to smile when excited, to make people understand how much this thing may mean to them and aside from grabbing the other person and merely shaking them to death explaining it word for word they do a pretty good job of portraying their thoughts on the subject. This is purely my opinion but I think the other person is the idiot here. But I may just plainly expect too much from the world. I also know this scenario so maybe I'm biased. I'm doing my best to draw again. I'm getting places with it - better than January at least. It'll be nice when I can start coloring what I've done. I'm in the mood to do some more traditional canvas work but that'll most likely not happen. The Juno figure came in. It's so tiny! It's about 4in tall and just detailed all to hell. I am officially amazed. In other news the insomnia barrels on. Three weeks now but it's getting better...ish. Perhaps I'll post here again. Who knows. Depends on if anyone gives a shit.

Decoding this dream:

To dream that you are driving a race car, represents your fast paced lifestyle. You may be jeopardizing your health with your reckless behavior.
Car (it was Rally so it is general): To see a parked car in your dream, suggests that you need to turn your efforts and energies elsewhere. You may be needlessly spending your energy in a fruitless endeavor. Alternatively, a parked car my symbolize your need to stop and enjoy life. To dream that you cannot find where you parked your car, suggests that you do not know where you want to go in life.
Happy: To dream that you are happy, may be a compensatory dream and is often a dream of the contrary. You may be trying to compensate for the sadness or stress in your waking life.

It makes sense. Just wish it made more.
