Hello there,
Imagine I had Hands have decided to call it a day.
We have to say thanks to everyone who gave a fuck about our band and helped us along the way. We never quite got going but we enjoyed every gig and made a lot of new friends in the process.
We have made the final four songs we recorded available for download as they will not be released officially.
All the best,
Adam, Jens and Simon

Hello there,
Well I have just posted another of our new songs. This time its a song called Six Reasons. As I have said before we really have to thank the main man behind the production, mixing and mastering on these tracks. Take a bow Mr Jakob Hvitnov.
In other news we played a gig on Saturday. I was a little "tipsy", the sound was "unusual" and we broke a bass string. This combined with our two rehearsals this year equalled THE MOST FUN I HAVE HAD AT A GIG IN AGES. Obstacles, Up In Arms and Little Yells Alot were all excellent. SO thanks to the guys at Take the Money and Run for putting together such a great gig.
Thats it really. We will submit more new songs when we get the finished mixes. Now we have to go into rehearsal world and write 20 new songs and become 200% more tight.
All the best, Adam and the Hands

Hey there,
A good friend of mine was kind enough to involve my brother and myself in his music project a while back. Basically he wrote the music and we came up with some vocal melodies on top. He came up with the name Cocks Don't Cry for the project and some of the music we have made together can be heard on his MySpace (he is linked in our top friends). You can vote for our song "these guys are older than me" at the following link:
http://www.dr.dk/p3/karrierekanonen/
SO VOTE FOR COCKS DONT CRY AND MAKE THE WORLD A BETTER PLACE!!!!
All the best, Adam

HEY PEOPLES,
We have added a new song to our profile! Its called "Hellbent on Holding Out" and it aint pretty. We will also be playing at Studerhuset at the end of this month at a math rock night with Up In Arms, Little Yells Alot and Obstacles. We have not played live or even rehearsed this year yet so we are sure to be entertaining to say the least.
Cheers, IIHH

Hello there,
IIHH are back! We have just completed the recording of four brand new songs with Jakob Hvitnov (http://www.myspace.com/hvitnov) as producer/engineer. I can’t say enough good things about the amazing work Jakob did over the two weekend sessions (five days in all) and we are very excited about the results.
We are unsure in what form to make these songs available yet but there will be new songs up on our profile very soon.
Simon has returned from his trip to America so we are a complete band again. Rehearsals will begin shortly and hopefully we’ll be ready to get out there and play some gigs sooner rather than later.
More news will follow soon.
All the best,
Adam/IIHH

Hello there,
Just a little update on our musical activities during the hibernation of IIHH.
The split that Stéfan Koekemoer and myself have been working on is finished and to my ears it sounds great. Its called Silvering Moon/ Half Hearted Gestures. The track listing is as follows:
Silvering Moon (Stéfan Keokemoer) 1. Intro 2. Stayed In 3. Felt 4. On My Way 5. Silvering Moon Half Hearted Gestures (Adam McCormack) 6. New Clown In Town 7. Chant For The Paper Characters 8. Christmas 1989 9. Lily Balleby 10. People Spinning Webs 11. Tristan 12. All Year Round
Its just under 40 mins in total. Anybody interested in getting a copy can contact us through the IIHH profile or Stéfans profile.
I have also just begun to add vocals to some songs by Inspector Salmon or Adam as I know him. He is a super talented and hugely productive guy. He has also made some music with my brother Anthony McCormack. You can hear some of the results on his profile: http://www.myspace.com/inspectorsalmon. I strongly recommend Inspector Salmon. His MySpace profile is constantly being updated with new songs ranging from the chaotic to the beautiful. There is a strong possibility that Adam, my brother and myself could collaborate on an as yet to be titled project which is pretty exciting for me as I am a huge admirer of both these guys.
Jens has continued to play bass in his other band "Feet Don’t Fail Me." They seem to occupy the pop/rock territory and they have just added music to their new myspace profile so check it out to give them a listen.
IIHH should be back to rehearsal in April if all goes to plan.
All the best, Adam

Well hello there,
Just a little blog about our plans and intentions for this fine new year we're faced with.
Well Simon (or Junior as he is known) has recently left the kingdom of Denmark but before he left he managed to get some fantastic drum tracks recorded for some new IIHH material. Yes, we have begun recording. Jakob Hvitnov is our man behind the sound again and we are very excited about how the songs are coming together. When Simon does come back we will hopefully get straight back into gigging and we aim to have a cd to promote by the start of the summer. SO if all goes to plan IIHH will get off to a slow start but have a great '08.
But its not that that just leaves Jens and I waiting in Copenhagen for Simon to return. We will be finishing up recordings and writing some new music for IIHH. I plan to record some more solo material (although I haven't picked up a guitar yet this year). And I'm still working out the practicalities of making the split album Headache and myself have just completed available to the public. There is also the very strong possibility that Shlow (a project involving Paul from Sylvan and myself) may take the giant leap from being just a cool side project to being a full-on band this year. Paul and I will be living a lot closer together very soon so by mid march we will be a drummer away from beginning rehearsals (any interested drummers check out Shlow and leave a message -Shlow are linked in our top friends).
SO all in all, with Simon off filming Indiana Jones 5, Jens working on other band projects and beginning his acting/modeling career and myself being wrapped up in enough music to make you puke, it seems like 2008 could be EVEN BETTER than the amazing year that has just gone.
SO thats it! Hopefully there'll be some new IIHH audio up here soon.
All the best,
Adam/IIHH
