So.. as you can tell, there's some big changes happening around here. We're revamping the page and doing some other really great stuff to get our myspace home looking a little more spiffed up.
Things are changing amongst the board as well. These will be formally addressed at the next general membership meeting, September 14th.
We've got a lot of great things going on this month... all of those 18 or older are invited to join us at the American Legion Tuesday August 19th. We will be playing bingo and celebrating our "Little Shit" Jamie's 18th birthday officially!!!! If you've never played bingo before, us "Old fogeys" will be happy to teach you... if you can type numbers into a computer... you can play Bingo, we promise! Minimum cost for this event is $25. More if you want to play more games or buy food!
Don't forget... August 31st is our "Don't Wear White!" Water Wars/Cook-Out!!! We'll be starting about 3(ish) and while we'll supply SOME ammo, you may want to bring something that holds water if you want to participate.

Also, we will be supplying the meat (ribs, porkchops and hot dogs) if you want to cook something different you'll need to bring it with... and as always... please bring a dish to pass.
Once everyone has gotten a good soaking (probably around 5 or so) we'll start the cooking and sit down for a good ole fashioned Jaycees Cook-Out!!!! How can you pass up an invitation like that?!
*in the event of rain, this event will be moved to Sherry and Dan's house and will be a card night/potluck, there are movies for the kids, we'd love to have them here too!
The 75th Anniversary party WILL be held... date is pending. We need your help!!!!! Let us know if you want to help be a planner!
It's been a while since we've all gotten together and had time to talk, vent, brainstorm, play, laugh and just be a group. We will be planning a card night very soon, bowling is in the plans for sure and certainly some fishing trips to Sherry and Dan's will be in the works as well.
We want to personally thank you all so much for sticking with things while we went and continue to go through this time of major change. Change starts within. If we can admit and commit to changing ourselves, we'll be better able to change the community.
