"Is this the weight of being?" She asked. "Yes," Mostin said enthusiastically. "You must strive to overcome it! Destroy yourself a hundred million times." "And then?" "The gods will fear you."
Wow I’ve missed this story.... I’m glad he’s still writing. I always think of Murmuur. "We are forever lost, Ahma. Do you not yet understand?"

New life experience: It's v-day, which I like!
Then my boyfriend calls me to tell me my girlfriend's school just got shot up. Of course, the cell phone lines are jammed, so it takes about 30 minutes to get through.
How screwed up. I guess I'm still in shock, you can tell because I'm blogging!
Oh, er, my boyfriend is Hulva for those who didn't know.
It's just such a unique sense of... "so can I get to the school and murder the guy before the police do?" That kind of frenzied irrationality was wafting over me, that kind that ignores things like gun purchase waiting periods, and my paucity of firearms training. It's shock because I'm saying things like paucity.

So I finally asked the bartender who was covering Enjoy the Silence... that depeche mode song I guiltily enjoy... and it was Lacuna Coil.
So I emule... err, purchased it at my friendly local used music store, and it's good, and of course I can't put it on my myspace page, because nowhere is hosting the cover.
Can I listen to KMFDM and Depeche Mode? heh.
And why do goth metally bands have slow sappy badly written stuff about pain / individuality / blahbalh at the end of the album? Is this just the place for songs like Hurt? (which, ok, I enjoy.) Just amsuing -- I don't think a CD full of that genre would sell very well. It's more emo than emo.
haha, I remember why I don't blog about music. It's really hard to talk about it without sounding like a pretentious idiot.
I think I forgot to eat my breakfast and left it on the counter. This happens a lot.
