Hi Folks,
To celebrate my recovering from a life-threatening illness, and to celebrate our troops and their families, the song "Let Them Go First" is now available as a free download on this MySpace page.
Download all you want - and encourage your friends and families to do so, too. Let's get "Let Them Go First" around the world so that everyone let's our troops deplane first to see their waiting families without delay - because every minute matters when you're home again!

Hi LTG1 Friends:
I'm sorry that I've been away so long, but I was tied up with other life things. I hope to get back to promoting LTG1 again as the summer rolls out. Stay safe, everyone!

Hi All: Here's a great note from a friend who's taking "LET THEM GO FIRST" in his hands and acting upon it. Way to go Johnnie!
I'd like to know more about this. I happened to be at the airport in Nashville on Sunday 9/10/06 and there was a soldier there returning from Iraq. I asked him if he had seen the emails going around or any info on this and he said "no". So I took it upon myself and went to the front of the line and made an announcement about this very thing and got him to the front of the line AND got him a standing ovation from all the folks there. I didn't have any authority to do a thing like this, I seized the moment! I figured that the worst that would happen is I get laughed at or shouted at or something. Quite the contrary! He was also made an announcement of by the Captain onboard over the plane's PA system. He was bought drinks and/or anything else he wanted. To make a long story a bit shorter, the folks abord that flight tried to make his flight a memorable one. One gentleman shouted out, "He does what he does so we can do what we do".
Best wishes friend!!

Hi Friends!
Well, my young friend Charles McDaniels and I had a fun time with our interview on "The Lowdown" talk and gossip show at WDVR FM in Sergentsville, NJ, one of our hometown radio stations. Charles is entering 4th grade this year! His dad, Rick, sat in on the interview with program host Victoria Ann Davis and her sister and mom. Rick was once a program host on WDVR, so it was especially enjoyable for him!
Charles is fearless in his wish to spread the word about Let Them Go First and helping the soldiers and their families. His parents told me that his teacher, Brian, reported that Charles has really blossomed since Let Them Go First was born. Charles and his classmates are learning that everyone can do something to help our soldiers and their families cope with the stress and sacrifice of war - even youngsters! It was a blessing to be in the studio with them
Victoria and the staff of "The Low Down" are terrific and have always been supportive - thanks so much for having us on your show!! If you are a WDVR listener and supporter, your can support WDVR by making a donation on their site at www.wdvrfm.org
I hope to have a podcast of some our discussion soon!
Thanks! Anne

Why should we let soldiers go first when they return home? Read this beautiful account of SSGT Ollie returning home from Iraq, which he just posted on his blog. It says it all! http://www.myspace.com/team_shubby

Hi Friends!
Doc Walker, host of the Elvis Radio at Graceland in Memphis, TN. As he sat in his blue suede chair, Doc interviewed me on his radio show on Thursday. He did a terrific job! I am thrilled to have been a part of his program.
The interview was in several parts, and we discussed how LTG1 started, what we're trying to do, who is involved, and how you can become involved.
After each segment, Doc played patriotic and soldier-based songs. It was quite moving!
I so appreciate Doc Walker's kind words and support, and for helping us get LTG1 off the ground. Thanks, Doc! May the blue suede be with you!
Even if you didn't get to hear the show, a word of thanks to Doc Walker At Elvis Radio on Channel 13, Sirius Radio, for supporting and promoting LTG1!. docwalker@elvis.com
Best regards,
Anne Freeman, Let Them Go First!
