We couldn't wait any longer... had to give ya a sneak peak of the new disc ahead of Friday night's launch!!  We've uploaded a couple of tracks for ya... a brand newie called LONG ROAD and an old live fave ROAD TO RUIN.  Hope you enjoy em!

LONG ROAD may seem like a bit of a change for Black Guns but it's indicative of some of the new material we've been working on.  We promised a few surprises and we'll be debuting some other new tunes at the show on Friday, can't wait for ya to hear it all.  LONG ROAD itself is a bit of an ode to being in a band... it's a bullshit cliche but it really is a long and winding road (adventure) that we're on... spending hours locked away in the rehearsal studio with your best mates, drinking beers with the punters you meet at shows, travelling all over with your guitar and a fistful of tunes and the never ending cast of characters who parade through your life... it really does kick ass most of the time.

2007 saw Black Guns spread their blood, sweat and tears all over the land touring their barnstorming live show with Aussie rock legends like Rose Tattoo, The Angels, The Celibate Rifles and more.  To commemorate 12 months of rock'n'roll shenanigans and give punters a taste of what's in store from their forthcoming album the lads hit the studio late in the year to belt out a couple of new tunes and collate some live material.  The result is an epic 8-track disk containing previously unreleased studio, live and demo recordings that mark a turning point for the band as they retire older material in favour of an explosive new set.

Black Guns launch their brand new EP "A Year In The Life" at The Tote on Friday 1st February.  They'll be joined by good mates Street Walking Panthers and My Dynamite as well as special guests and the obligatory beer shower.  A limited edition, hand numbered pressing of 'A Year In The Life" will be available for FREE to everybody at the launch so strap on your kidney belt and get your ass down to The Tote for a riotous Friday night of partying.

What a kick arse year 2007 has been!
We're gonna take some time out from the studio to play one last show for 2007 this Friday, 16th November at Ding Dong with Electric Mary. It's going to be a fitting finale for 2007 as the year closes out at the same place it began for us, at Ding Dong.

Oh, and don't get all teary eyed just yet… believe us when we tell ya you're gonna need the rest over Christmas... next year is gonna be a non-stop BLACK GUNS party. The new EP is has been polished off and a release show in January will be announced shortly. Stay tuned, the story's only just begun!

That's right folks. Black Guns have been locked away in the studio over the last month preparing new tracks which will be committed to tape for prosperity in November and released in the New Year on Black Guns debut ALBUM!! Oh yeah baby. It's been a long time coming and there are a bunch of people that we need to thank but all that will come in good time.

We promise this is gonna be a seriously kick arse rock'n'roll album with something for everyone. There's gonna be a few oldies for those of you who've been supporting us through the thick and thin over the last couple of years and a bunch of new tracks which kill everything else we've released up to this point. We can't wait to give it to you early in 2008.

Can't wait for the new album? Well neither can we so in the meantime we have some special releases planned to tide you over. All 8 TRACKS of the new Black Guns EP have just been completed and a release date will be announced shortly... stay tuned!!

Hey ya'll

We've stuck some new vids of some of the shenanigans from the Airbourne "Running Wild" Tour.  It was a fucken blast and the vids pretty mch say it all.  There's a nice clip of some highlights and then a second clip of "Road To Ruin" live at the sold-out Prince Of Wales show.  EPIC!!!
