The DJ is the MOST important of all of Hip Hop Elements. Period. The roots of Hip Hop are a very sacred time, and that time was birthed by the DJ. In order for the MC to do his thing, it starts with the DJ. The attitude of a graffiti artist (nowadays our graphic artist) come from the beat of the DJ. The dancer cannot dance without the DJ. Somebody has to press play in order for Hip Hop to be heard. And that person my friend, is the DJ. So in my newest song (Click Here), I salute you and all that you all do to push that new sound, that unheard of smash. Continue to break hits and at all times Keep it Trill. Much Luv, Flyboy P.S. Check out Diddy's "Message to the DJ's" down below. Chuuuch!

TRUE STORY
Ever since I started publicly endorsing Senator Obama, I have received note after note from people (and they all coincidently happened to be white) telling me that I should think about my choice and not just vote for Obama because he is a man of color. Some have even went to the extent of calling me and my entire race "dumb", "ignorant" & other derogatory terms because of our support for Obama. They feel as if minorities don't have minds enough to make an EDUCATED choice. They feel that we just see a black man so we get behind him like he's the new rapper with the hottest single out or something.
I'm not a racist at all, but these type of things REALLY upset me and make me wonder how far have we really come if they percieve us in that light? I don't know about you but I'm sick of being treated as if I don't have a mind of my own, or being judged by my skintone. The last time I checked, the 60's have been long OVER. I know that evey white person isn't like this, so in fairness I will not generalize them like they do us. I'm only speaking to the one's who have disrespected me, and the one's who feel that all Blacks are "dumb" & "ignorant".
Has a white person ever been accused of "just voting for a President because he's white"? Oh wait, they couldn't have been, because EVERY president since the 1700's has been white. And Blacks weren't even allowed to VOTE until 1965. At least not FAIRLY. If we tried to before then, the Klan would show up at your door.
The Fifteenth Amendment to the Constitution, one of three adopted in response to the American Civil War, prevented any state from denying the right to vote to any male citizen twenty-one years old or older on account of his race. Particularly in the South, however, many practical barriers were erected to this becoming a reality. Most abused was the literacy test. The ability to read and write the English language was not banned as a basis for determining voter eligibility by this amendment and blacks were often denied the right to vote on this basis. Even literate blacks were often told they had "failed" such a test, if in fact, it had even actually been administered. On the other hand, illiterate whites were often allowed to vote through a "Grandfather clause" which waived literacy requirements if one's grandfather had been a qualified voter, which for most blacks in the immediate aftermath of the Civil War was an impossibility. Selective enforcement of the poll tax was frequently also used to disqualify black voters, a fact which led to the eventual adoption of the Twenty-fourth Amendment. Intimidation tactics were employed to bar blacks from voting as well, such as "night rides" by the Ku Klux Klan. Economic tactics such as eviction from rental housing or termination of employment were also used . Such practices did not fully end until the American Civil Rights Movement scored one of its greatest triumphs when it encouraged the passage by the United States Congress of the Voting Rights Act of 1965.
Now once again I AM NOT RACIST. This is merely me stating FACTS. And it was brought on by people messaging ME. I wasn't even gonna go there. I was doing quite well supporting my candidate and expressing my opinion when I was was presented with disrespect. So all I am doing is responding, and defending myself and my race. If we don't defend ourselves, who will? I actually forget about color until somebody reminds me I'm Black. I see us as the HUMAN RACE. When will you?
Just so you know, there are Black Teachers, Lawyers, Doctors, Engineers, Judges, Presidential Candidates, Mothers, Fathers, Sons, Daughters and the list goes on and on. Will there ever be a time when people are truly judged only by the content of their character as oppossed to the color of their skin?
So in closing I just say one thing. I am not voting for Obama "The Black Man." I am voting for Barack Obama the best CANDIDATE in my opinion for what the United States of America needs NOW. He just happens to be a Black Man. I love the fact that Women are making history in this election as well, and I am proud that these doors are being Knocked down. This is History! I just wish that it wouldn't have happened in the SAME election year. How ironic is that?? By the way did you know that the First WOMAN to run for President was a BLACK Woman? Yes, it's true. Shirley Chisholm ran in 1972.

So we continue to make strides, and will continue to push on. I know there are alot of people out there that make us look bad. But we can't be held accountable for every person. I know alot of good people who are Muslim, and they get treated as if they were in on the World Trade Center plotting. Timothy McVeigh blew up the Federal Building in OKC, but we can't look at every white male as a potential bomber. So don't look at all Blacks as Thugs, Gangbangers, and hoodlums. Most of the Black people I'm associated with have careers or are in College or trying to better themselves in some form or fashion. That's why Obama is my choice, because maybe he is the Catalyst to show that it doesn't matter who you are, what color you are... if you believe it, you can acheive it! Thanks for Taking the time out to read this and don't be shy, leave me a comment and let me know how you feel about the issue.
The Video Below is a prime example of how Education can turn things around. The interviewer clearly thinks that the Black man he is talking to is just voting for Obama because he is Black. By the end of the conversation, he extends his hand introduces himself and realizes, some of us actually have a thought process. That's all we can ask for, Respect.
Be Easy, Flyboy

You know what..I've tired of muthaphuckas thinking you have to kiss their ass in order to do biz with them. That's some real stupid shit to me. It's either we cool or we aint, I shouldn't have to call a muthaphucka every 5 minutes to say "hey, Im still down with ya".. to stay on their "friendslist" or for their support...
For what... Im a busy cat just like everybody else. I'm not much of a people person either. It just aint me.. I have a lot of "friends" but how many of em are real? How many of em are willing to still be down even if we havent talked in awhile? Is your Brother not your Brother cuz you haven't spoken in a few weeks? Ohh shit..take him off your frendslist!!!
That's why I made this bulletin.
Like the females on here...they claim to be "Down" and support you, but Usher or Chamillionaire are on a spot in their top 8 where I could be getting some exposure...Usher has 65 million "friends" and I hate to tell you this, even if your on his friendslist..your not his "friend" so why not put me on your top 8, somebody who'll actually respond to you, maybe become even better friends one day! So you can actually contribute to someones success. But if I aint talking about "hooking up" then I get moved down or you move on to the next rapper and dickride him...thats silly, then you are the same ones that say "we dont have respect for you". Yeah right..I get so many vulgar propositions on here from females..it aint even funny. But Im not going for a SEX championship..I'm tryna get Oklahoma some clout..get some money and Business in the "O" so we all can prosper...I need "REAL" support in order to do that.
Everybody always asking why Oklahoma hasn't blown yet? For starters, If you live in Oklahoma...why not put some Oklahoma artist on your top 8? so people browsing can check em out... Why not copy and paste their bulletins, instead of those wack ass "Surveys" and shit... There is a lot of talent from the "O" We got the "Traphouse", Kurt Dogg, Polo, Tramee, Infamous, Phillippian, Lega-C, Brok, Xianex, and ME!!(of course) and the list goes on and on and on....We got graphic artist, producers, all that shit...so why aren't we all networking amongst ourselves? And stop Gossipin'...I hear all the shit niggas say about me, the same ones smiling saying we cool...
Why am I one of the top 10 Myspace Artist in Oklahoma(number 1 in Lawton), but I'm still having to kiss ass to get a show or collab or some dumb shit? I won't do it..I don't give a fuck...I'm gonna make it happen regardless, Im just saying I'd rather do it with than without your support...
I get more Love on shit outta town than in the "O" thats why I stay on the road...
And how can you call yourself my "friend" if this is what I do..and you in no way show support?
I could go on and on, but I'm done..fuck this shit...
Flyboy "The Message" Dropping soon... Game over when it does...

Flyboy Has always had a love for Music that was undeniable. He has also traveled a Path that some consider unbelievable. Being raised in Chicago's Grimey Southside caught up with a lot of his friends but Flyboy seemingly remained Focused on one goal (even when he didn't know it)...To be the Best that ever did this. Not one of, ...But THEE. He started as a Kid making pause tapes back when Run Dmc, the Fat Boys and Micheal Jackson were what was coming out of every Boombox. Eventually at school he would become the resident Beatboxer for other lunchtable rappers, until one day they gave him a turn to "bust his rhyme". What came out his mouth made all his friends mouths drop and from that day on, they didnt want him to beatbox anymore, They wanted him to Flow! But at a young age Flyboys parents Seperated and he along with his Mother and brother, headed to Lawton Oklahoma (His Grandmother stayed there). It was a strange transition at first, Big City to Small Town, but the music he had inside never died. Naturally he got better as the years went by, But Lawton Oklahoma just wasn't a hip hop city. It didn't even have a Black radio Station. You had to listen to Top 40 or Country and Rock. But at school at the lunchtables and in the hallways Just as he did in Chicago he would show his stuff...that eventually led to local talent shows and meeting a few more people in town that shared his interest. Up to this point Rappin was merely a hobby or an unreachable dream. Until at the ripe age of 18 he met the first person that would put his voice on a track...From there on, it was a wrap. That was his career. Nothing else mattered. He became involved in Bigger Talent Shows, Met and started recording with other local area MC's.Eventually he Got a Job at his Cities ONLY Black Record store and made any and contacts he could. After doing a lot of work for producers who were satisfied only with "kickin' it and making tracks just for the homies" Flyboy got burnt out on Music altogether. He gave it up and stuck to being a fan. In October 1996 Lawton Oklahoma finally got a Black radio station (KJMZ 98.1 FM) At first Flyboy didn't see the potential of trying to work there, he was just glad like everyone else that they could finally listen to what they watched on B.E.T! During this time Flyboy was holding down a gig at Footlocker as the Assistant Store Manager. And his former partner in music (Raymond "Goldfigga" Perry) would always come in the store and tell him "Man come back to the studio, they serious now!!" Speaking on the crew they used to do music with. At first he didn't, but after months of persausion he was back, but this time on his terms, He started his on imprint CSC BOMBTHREAT ENTERPRISES. Nothing but words on a piece of paper, but it was HIS. He decided against working with the former crew, and asked Golfigga to join him at Bombthreatt. Goldfigga agreed and they formed there group "Mista, Mista" and immediately started preparing their Debut album. The first Single they recorded (with a broken Mic and a four-track recorder) was gonna be their entry in the game. Flyboy had a plan and they were gonna do it. He was gonna get a job at a tire plant (Goodyear) that paid twelve bucks an hour to fund their endeavor, which he applied for and got the job. The first day of work He quit! "I aint doing that slave labor!!" he said from the payphone at work to his mom. 12 hour full on labor work days just weren't him. So that very moment he made up his mind. IF IT WASN"T MUSIC HE WASN'T DOING IT! The very next day he took two things to the Radio Station, Him and Goldfiggas single "with or without you" and his Resume'. He was hired on the spot, and the song was the first "Local" song that was played on air in Lawton. It was number one for two weeks until Terry "Big Daddy" Monday pulled the local flavor show because the dj's were playing their song in place of songs that were on the playlist because of the amount of request! Flyboy went on to become very popular in his time slot for two years 98 -99. He became immensely popular in his city, but had stopped recording for about a year and a half due to radio responsibilities. So at his peak at the station, he did the unthinkable, he stepped down from his number 1 spot and refocused on Rapping and producing... This time solo. The first album he released in Lawton (FLY2K) came out in 2000 and it did more thanFlyboy expected and thats when he realized that he could actually do this professionally. So he wrote and recorded a new album in his home studio and released it in 2001. It was called (Undisputed) it did so well that Flyboy actually didnt need to work for awhile, He could fully focus on music. But Lawton is very small and Flyboy knew that if he really wanted to get out there, he would have to go elsewhere. He choose Atlanta... Flyboy packed up his music and headed to the ATL. Atlanta's scene was spitting out stars left and right, Flyboy figured his Demo in the right hands was his ticket...So he hit the streets and Clubs. The same album that was for sale in the stores in Lawton, Oklahoma (Undisputed) was what Flyboy used as his demo in Atlanta...He pressed up a couple thousand and hit up every industry event and celebrity he could... He appeared in Jermaine Dupri and Ludacrises Video "Welcome to Atlanta" and participated in different events and functions the "dirty south" had to offer. To his Surprise, Celebrities were everywhere. So he was not only able to give them his Demo, he was able to party and chill with them as well. One of the many People he met was an Artist that had a name in the Atlanta area but hadn't quite hit the rest of the world yet name "Lil Jon"... Lil Jon expressed interest in Flyboys Music and said he'd keep in touch. Over the next couple of months Flyboy would see Lil Jon at several events and give him the "exact" same Demo each time, hoping it would show persistence. Still months would pass and no response... In the Meantime Lil Jon was starting to Blow up and he was getting worldwide recognition. At this time Flyboy was an absolute Fan, especially since he knew the cat before all the success started poppin off for him. He just didn't see why Jon wasn't calling when he said he would. But nevertheless Flyboy was a fan and purchased Lil Jons Music Faithfully... Well a couple of years passed and Lil Jon Officially became a SuperStar. He was preparing to release the first act from his newly aquired Label BME Enterprise " Trillville & Lil Scrappy". Flyboy was still going back and forth to Atlanta pushing Demos and entering open mic contest, going to conferences etc, etc... Well on one of those conference trips to Houston, Flyboy saw that "Trillville & Lil Scrappy" were set for release the next day, so the next day he was at the store Buying it!!! SUPER FAN...There was only one small problem.. As he listened to the album, he suddenly realized why Lil Jon hadn't called him back. A couple of Songs off his Demo (Undisputed) were on Lil Scrappys Album but it Damn sure wasn't Flyboy rapping em....WTF??????? At That moment Crunkkilla was born.
Part 2 coming....
