Hullo - we have just spent the past few days recording our debut album in CaVa Studios in Glasgow with Brian McNeill. It has been great fun and we're going back in a few weeks for some final recording and mixing. We hope Isobel Campbell leaves our stash of chocolate raisins alone in the meantime. Thanks to Erik and Bjorn for the bass amp. It is going to be 10 tracks of us playing music, some old songs, some new. It will be out in spring next year on Plastilina. We'll be sorting out some sort of tour - hopefully Sweden, perhaps Germany, maybe Spain. We can't wait to get back to playing in front of you. Bye for now. x

Bought and Sold, our new single, will be released later in December by WeePOP! The single will be on the 3"CD format, and will be available to order from WeePOP!'s website www.weepop.net. The tracklisting is Bought and Sold, The Love That Never Spoke Its Name and The One Who Got Away.
It took a while to agree amongst ourselves what should be the title track. This could mean that all the songs are equally great or that they are all equally terrible. We prefer to think the former. Anyway, Bought and Sold won out, although Neil prefers to call it 'Lights of London' as 'Bought and Sold' sounds like an accounting textbook. It's based on a few trips to London Andrew has had over the years. No matter how hard it kicked him down back then, he always arrived back with the same unwavering faith in the city. Now he is a bit more cynical, but secretly still gets excited whenever he visits. Some of the stories actually happened whereas others are more fabricated.

The 3-inch CD of Boyfriend Devoted released by Cloudberry has sold out. Thanks to all those who bought it - now look after it! But don't worry if you missed out. Fortunately we have normal sized CDs of Boyfriend Devoted available to buy directly from ourselves if you have a paypal account. Just click on the 'add to basket' button on our myspace profile. It costs £4 including postage and packaging and contains 3 tracks - Boyfriend Devoted, Not Tonight and Treat Me Gently. Look forward to licking those envelopes... The Felt Tips xxx p.s. Check out www.cloudberryrecords.com for loads of great indiepop singles by other bands. Finally, we should also add that there are copies of the single available for £3 in Avalanche Records in Glasgow and the excellent One-up Records in Aberdeen.

thought it was about time we told you that our new single, boyfriend devoted, is out on cloudberry records on the 15th of August. You can order it from www.cloudberryrecords.com for 5$ (US). (won't be able to get it in any shops I'm afraid). it will contain new versions of boyfriend devoted, not tonight and treat me gently - if you click on cloudberry in our friends list then you can hear the new recording of boyfriend devoted, and if you go to cloudberryrecords.com you can hear treat me gently. In fact, when we get round to it you will be able to listen to them all here as well. Andrew x p.s. thanks to Emma for the artwork (see IvyIvy in our friend list for more).
