New legislation by the State of New Mexico,  places all tattoo and piercing studios under the New Mexico Board of Barbers and Cosmotologist for State licensure.  In addition to the city license, that has always been required, we are now also regulated by the State of New Mexico.  All studios and artists must be licensed on November 12, 2008.  Any un-licensed Tattoo Artist, Piercer, or Body Art Establishment that is not licensed on that date will be shut down and fined by the state.

As of October 22, 2008, this establishment, as well as all the artist therein are officially licensed by the State of New Mexico.
