The good folks at Amoeba Records in SF took time out of their busy schedules to do this nice interview with yours truly.

Hello from Switzerland. In after tomorrow we have two days off before our Paris show. We are hoping to find places to stay either there or in Switzerland or somewhere inbetween. If any of you have a spot for 7 travelers to sleep please get in touch. Many thanks for reading.

Hello all,

Just wanted to let folks know that most of the November European tour dates are in place and announced. Check back at end of week for the additional UK dates. This tour is to coincide with the November 2nd release of The Hive on Wichita Records. The album will be available in North America in February on Language of Stone.

Wowzers ... I'm pretty stoked to announce that in November of 2008 Marianne Faithful's new covers album, "Easy Come , Easy Go," will feature a duet with Rufus Wainwright of an Espers song called "Children of Stone." Its especially exciting to me being that I wrote the lyric and melody to that tune. The whole thing kinda blows my mind.

That is all.

Greetings!

Thanks to the industrious efforts of Golden Ball and Ex Reverie's David Chadwick my past and present releases (as well as those of the other projects I'm involved in) are purchaseable through my Language of Stone label site. Here's a brief rundown of items you may be missing:

Awake Like Sleep

Blood is Trouble

Fire In The Arms of The Sun

Bleecker Station EP

"Quiet Weather" split 7"

The Valerie Project cd/double LP

Espers

Espers II

Espers  "Weed Tree"

There's even a very special tour CD of Sharon Van Etten's up for sale. Sharon will be releasing her debut full length on Language of Stone in April. It's awesome!

Okay, all the best and I look forward to seeing you on the road over the coming year.

Howdy,

The tune "Made" continues to invent a life for itself. This month it appears in public courtesy of the Showtime program Weeds. Showtime paid me a record-breaking 75 billion dollars to use "Made" over the end sequence and closing credits of episode 12 (I think). That only covers half of the money I owe South Philly loansharks though, so for the love of god, please keep buying my records!

Hello all,

Thought you folks would like to know that a track from my forthcoming album The Hive will be available in the new issue of British music magazine Plan B on the B'Wichd free sampler cd. The album comes out in October on Wichita Records and a full European tour will commence in November (details on that soon to be posted). US release details soon to be revealed.
