Hello my friends was just wondering what your opinion is on what music is Torah Observant.
Personally in my past life I used to like classic rock like Beatles, Rolling Stones, Elvis ... Etc.
However since becoming a believer in Yeshua I have given all that music up.
Why?
I dont think it honors YHWH and think the following verse of scripture applies to the type of music I mean:
Jer 10:2 - Thus saith the LORD, Learn not the way of the heathen, and be not dismayed at the signs of heaven; for the heathen are dismayed at them. ... keep reading
Sorry folks lots of people are still attached to the ways of the world, which includes music, entertainment, books, movies, ...etc
Shalom Mike

What day was Yeshua's Crucifixion? Resurrection? - commonly supposed Yeshua (Jesus) crucified on Friday and his resurrection was early about sunrise on Easter Sunday morning - most people don't ever question the "Good Friday" and "Easter Sunday" tradition - there were no eye-witnesses of the resurrection as it was occurring - doubting Pharisees asked Yeshua (Jesus) for a sign of his Messiahship - here is Yeshua's response: Matt 12:38-40 "An evil and adulterous generation seeketh a sign; and there shall no sign be given to it, but the sign of the Prophet Jonas: For as Jonas was three days and three nights in the whales belly, so shall the Son of Man be three days and three nights in the heart of the earth." - this is the only sign given to prove Yeshua (Jesus) was the Messiah - the proof was not just the resurrection itself but the actual time he would be in the sepulchre - Yeshua (Jesus) staked his claim of Messiahship with proof that he would be in the sepulchre 3 days and 3 nights - If he was not in the sepulchre 3 days and 3 nights then he should be rejected as an imposter and not Messiah at all - This only proof of Yeshua's Messiahship have bothered many commentators and higher critics - simply traditional Christianity say the crucifixion was on "Good Friday" and the resurrection on "Easter Sunday" - Friday to Sunday sunrise does not equal 3 days and 3 nights so the "Good Friday" and "Easter Sunday" traditions collapses if biblical evidence is accepted - One commentator states, "Of course we know that Jesus was actually in the tomb only half as long as He thought He would be!" - Some expositors ask us to believe in Greek language, the language the New Testament was written, that the saying "3 days and 3 nights" is an expression that means parts of 3 days not litterally 3 days and 3 nights - They say Yeshua (Jesus) was placed in tomb Friday night and he rose at sunrise Sunday morning - some theologians say the saying "3 days and 3 nights" is a Jewish Idiom which means parts of 3 days - Higher critics admit that in the Hebrew language which the book of Jonah was written "3 days and 3 nights" litterally means 72 hours or 3 twelve hour days and 3 twelve hour nights. - What does the book of Jonah say? - Jonah 1:17 "And Jonah was in the belly of the fish three days and three nights!" - Critics admit this is a 72 hour period - Yeshua (Jesus) in Matt 12:38-40 is litterally saying as Jonas was 72 hours in the belly of the whale so shall he be in the tomb for 72 hours - Friday night to Sunday at sunrise is roughly 36 hours - Yeshua (Jesus) was saying he would be in the tomb same length of time as Jonas was in the belly of the whale - Jonah was in Grave (belly of whale) attn reference commentary for Jonah 2:2 72 hours, then supernaturally resurrected by being vomitted up to become a savior to Nineveh - In likewise fashion Yeshua was to be in grave 72 hours, supernaturally resurrected by YHWH to become the savior of the world - What was Yeshua's (Jesus') concept of what consisted a day? - John 11:9-10 "Are there not twelve hours in a day ... but if a man walk in the night, he stumbleth." - Bible definition of the expression "the third day" scripture after scripture tell us Yeshua (Jesus) would rise on the third day - the Bible gives criteria to fullfill the third day - Genesis 1:4-13 "YHWH divided the light from the darkness. And YHWH called the light day and the darkness he called night. And evening (darkness) and the morning (light) were the first day... and the evening (darkness) and the morning (light) were the second day ...and the evening (darkness) [attn 3rd period of darkness or night] and morning (light) [attn 3rd period of light or day] - this is the Biblical definition of what comprises the third day that is 3 periods of darkness and 3 periods of light - Yeshua (Jesus) said these periods contain 12 hours each - How do the theologians know that Yeshua (Jesus) died on "Good Friday" and rose again on "Easter Sunday"? Yeshua did not these traditions are not true - It is a tradition most people never question - Yeshua (Jesus) says not to make the "Word of YHWH" of none effect through your tradition - Mark 7:13 - 4 more scriptures that prove Yeshua (Jesus) was in tomb for 3 days and 3 nights or 72 hours - Mark 8:31 "And He began to teach them that the Son of Man must suffer many things, and be rejected of the elders, and of the chief priests, and scribes, and be killed and after three days rise again." - a second grader could figure out if Yeshua (Jesus) died on Friday and rose after one day it would be Saturday, or if after 2 days would be Sunday, or if he rose after 3 days it would be Monday. - For this verse to be true Yeshua (Jesus) would had to rise after 72 hours not one second sooner - Mark 9:31 "... they shall kill him; and after that he is killed, he shall rise the third day." - Matt 27:63 "After three days I will rise again" - John 2:18-22 "Jesus answered and said unto them, Destroy this temple, and in three days I will raise it up ... but he spake of the temple of his body." - all these scriptures conclude that Yeshua (Jesus) was in the tomb for a 72 hour period - If Yeshua (Jesus) was in tomb for 72 hours then he rose, then just after the time he was put in the tomb 72 hours earlier expired at same time of day, which means his resurrection had to be just before sunset 72 hours later not at sunrise as most theologians suppose. - if we can prove the time of day he was put in the tomb that is the time of day his resurrection occurred 72 hours later - Yeshua (Jesus) cried on the cross soon after the ninth hour or 3 o'clock in the afternoon (Matt 27:46-50. Mark 15:34-37, Luke 23:44-46) - crucifixion day was called the preparation or day before the Sabbath. (Matt 27:62, Mark 15::42, Luke 23:54, John 19:14) - this day ended according to Torah (Lev. 23:32) -Yeshua (Jesus) was burried before this day ended before sunset (Matt 27:57, Luke 23:52-54) - according to Jewish tradition all dead bodies must be burried before the beginning of Sabbaths or Feast days. - Scripture shows that the burial of Yeshua (Jesus) took place between 3 pm afternoon and sunset - Yeshua's (Jesus') resurrection had to occurr same time of day 72 hours later just before sunset - If Yeshua (Jesus) rose at any other time then he would have failed to fullfill the only sign he told the Pharisees of in Matt 12:38-40 and could not be Messiah - Either he rose at sunset or he is not Messiah - day of Yeshua's (Jesus') resurrection as proven with scripture: Mark 16:2, Luke 24:1, John 20:1 Mary Magdalene and her companions were first investigators of the tomb on first day of the week (Sunday) very early was still dark before sunrise. - when the women arrived at the tomb the tomb was already open and Yeshua (Jesus) was not there. He was not rising but he was already risen Mark 16:6, Luke 24:3, John 20:2, Matt 28:5-6 - Yeshua was already risen Sunday morning because he rose in the late afternoon before sunset on Saturday of Sabbath day - There was no Sunday resurrection even though the women nor the apostles found out about the resurrection until on the Sunday nevertheless the resurrection occurred before sunset on the Sabbath day -

Every soul that has ever lived must appear before the High Court of Heaven to be judged. (Ecclesiastes 12:14, Romans 14:12, Hebrews 9:27)
By divine decree Jesus Christ has already been appointed the Judge.(John 5:22, Romans 2:16, 2 Corinthians 5:10)
The eternal Law used in the great Day of Judgement will be none other than the law given by God through His servant Moses and magnified by Jesus. (Matthew 5:17-19, Romans 2:12-13, James 2:11-12)
Every motive, thought, word and deed will be under close scrutiny in the Day of Judgement. In view of this we should take heed as to how we live. (Matthew 12:36, Revelation 20:12-13)
The severity of the examination and the expectations of the Judge will be in direct proportion to the opportunities a person has had to learn and practice Yahweh's Law. "To whom much has been given, from him much will be required." (Matthew 11:23-24, Luke 12:47-48)
Judgement will begin with the Household of God (the Church). Unbelievers will be judged later. (1 Peter 4:17-18, 1 Timothy 5:24, Revelation 22:10-12)
The Day of Judgement has already been fixed. We cannot hasten or postpone it. It has been fixed. (Revelation 14:6-7, Revelation 11:18, Acts 17:30-31)
The sentences passed at the judgement will bring joy to believers who will obtain mercy for their sins. But unbelievers will leave the judgement in terrible anguish. (2 Thessalonians 1:7-9, Hebrews 10:26-30, Matthew 13: 41-43)
The first signs of the coming judgement are already apparent and their warning messages should be heeded by all students before it is eternally too late. (Ezekiel 14:19-21)
The only way to escape being condemned at the judgement is to seek mercy and forgiveness NOW; to trust and obey Yahweh NOW - before the decree goes forth. Yahweh's mercy, incidentally, is the only thing which will enable repentant sinners - and this includes all the church - to rejoice on the Day of Judgement.
But mercy must be sought before sentence is passed. (Zephaniah 2:2-3, James 2:13 (last part), Luke 21:34-36)

Pagan Roots of Christmas Resources Book 4
I am going through all my booklets I have on the topic so you can read my resources. If you want to write an article or book on the topic please feel free to use as you like.
Rough Notes -TPTAC
- Where did the world get Christmas? - From Bible or paganism? - What is the origin of Christmas tree decorated with tinsel, Santa Claus, mistletoe, holly wreath, and exchanging gifts, hanging stockings, Christmas eve. small toys, candies and nuts, presents hung on the tree and underneath the tree, - Parents tell their children the myth that Santa Claus came down the chimney and brought the presents - do we question these customs? Does the Bible command us to keep these customs? These customs just existed when we were born and never question them - Few people even research why they believe the things they believe, nor question the customs they keep and where they come from - by nature we tend to follow the crowd - does Christmas really celebrate the birth of Yeshua (Jesus)? Was Yeshua really born on December 25th? - Did the Apostles celebrate Yeshua's (Jesus') birthday on December 25? Did they celebrate Yeshua's birthday at all? - If Christmas is the Chief of all Christian holidays then why didn't the Apostles nor the first century Congregation observe it? - Why do people exchange gifts on Christmas? was it because of the example of the wise men or Magi giving gifts to the child Yeshua (Jesus)? Did they give gifts to the child Yeshua (Jesus) or the baby Yeshua (Jesus)? How old was Yeshua (Jesus)? - Most people assume a lot of stuff about Christmas so lets stop assuming and look at the facts - What do encyclopedias say about Christmas? - The word "Christmas" means "Mass of Christ," or, as it came to be shortened, "Christ-Mass." - The protestant denominations got Christmas from the Catholic Church - Catholics did not get Christmas from the Bible - not instructed by Apostles nor first century Congregation - Christmas crept into the Catholic Church out of paganism - Catholic Encyclopedia, 1911 edition article "Christmas" writes, "Christmas was not among the earliest festivals of the Church ... the first evidence of the feast is from Egypt." "Pagan customs centering around the January calends gravitated to Christmas." - Catholic Encyclopedia, 1911 article "Natal Day," writes, ".. In the Scriptures, no one is recorded to have kept a feast or held a great banquet on his birthday. It is only sinners [like Pharaoh and Herod] who make great rejoicings over the day in which they were born into this world" - Encyclopedia Britannica, 1946 edition writes, "Christmas (i.e., the Mass of Christ) ... Christmas was not among the earliest festivals of the church ...." - Encyclopedia Americana, 1944 edition writes, "Christmas .... It was, according to many authorities, not celebrated in the first centuries of the Christian church, as the Christian usage in general was to celebrate the death of remarkable persons rather than their birth ...." "... A feast was established in memory of this event [Christ's birth] in the fourth century. In the fifth century the Western Church ordered it to be celebrated forever on the day of the old Roman feast of the birth of Sol, as no certain knowledge of the day of Christ's birth existed." - these encyclopedias show that Christians did not observe Christmas for 2 to 3 hundred years after Yeshua's (Jesus') birth, death, resurrection and ascension - note longer than the length of the history of the United States - Christmas did not enter the Roman Church until fourth century A.D - Remember we are to prove all things and hold fast to what is good: 1Th 5:21 - Prove all things; hold fast that which is good. So by the merit of the Bible you are commanded to prove all things. All things is ALL THINGS even including Christmas. - Yeshua (Jesus) was not born on December 25th not even in the winter season - (Luke 2:8) "there were in the same country shepherds abiding in the field, keeping watch over their flock by night" This could not have happened in the month of December in Judea as the shepherds would corral their flock and bring them in before October 15th to protect their flock from the cold rainy season - scriptures that prove this: Song of Solomon 2:11 and Ezra 10:9, 13, proving the shepherds could not leave their flocks in fields in winter. - Adam Clarke Commentary (Vol. 5, page 370, New York ed.) writes, "It was an ancient custom among Jews of those days to send out their sheep to the fields and deserts about the Passover (early spring), and bring them home at commencement of the first rain," During the time they were out, the shepherds watched them night and day. As ... the first rain began early in the month of Marchesvan, which answers to part of our October and November [begins sometime in October], we find that the sheep were kept out in the open country during the whole summer. And, as these shepherds had not yet brought home their flocks, it is a presumptive argument that October had not yet commenced, and that, consequently, our Lord was not born on the 25th of December, when no flocks were out in the fields; nor could He have been born later than September, as the flocks were still in the fields by night. On this very ground, the nativity in December should be given up. The feeding of the flocks by night in the fields is a chronological fact ... See the quotations from the Talmudists in Lightfoot." - The Catholic Encyclopedia states that Yeshua (Jesus) was not born on December 25th - The exact date of Yeshua's (Jesus') birth is unknown probably September about six months after Passover. - If YHWH (G_d) wanted us to observe Yeshua's (Jesus') birthday why would he completely hide its exact date? - How this pagan celebration crept into the true Congregation: The New Schaff-Herzog Encyclopedia of Religious Knowledge in article "Christmas" writes, "How much the date of the festival depended upon the pagan Brumalia (Dec. 25) following the Saturnalia (Dec. 17-24), and celebrating the shortest day of the year and the 'new sun' ... cannot be accurately determined. The pagan Saturnalia and Brumalia were too deeply entrenched in popular custom to be set aside by Christian influence .... The pagan festival with its riot and merrymaking was so popular that Christians were glad of an excuse to continue its celebration with little change in spirit and in manner. Christian preachers of the West and the Near East protested against the unseemly frivolity with which Christ's birthday was celebrated, while Christians of Mesopotamia accused their Western brethren of idolatry and sun worship for adopting as Christian this pagan festival." - before Yeshua's (Jesus') first advent the Roman world was pagan in belief and practice, Christians were few in number are were actually persecuted by pagans. Constantine put Christianity on equal footing with paganism adopting observances of paganism into Christianity and making this mix of religions Christianity the state religion of the Roman Empire in the fourth century. Hundreds of thousands of pagans were evangelized into the Roman Church bringing their pagan observances with them. One of the chief observances of the pagans was on December 25th. a festival of merrymaking, special spirit, and they enjoyed it and didn't want to give it up. - The New Schaff-Herzog Encyclopedia of Religious Knowledge explains how Constantine adopted Sunday, the Sun G_d day of worship, into the Roman Church and how the pagan Manichaeism influenced the Roman Church to associate the Sun G_d with the Son of G_d. This logic lead to adopting the date of the birth date fo the Sun G_d with the birth date of the Son of G_d. - That is how Christmas came to us all even in the West. We may call it Christmas but it still stems out of paganism. You can call a rabbit a "lion," but it's still a rabbit, just the same. - The real origins of Christmas - If the Roman Catholic Church got Christmas out of paganism where did the pagans get it? Where, when and what was Christmas' origin? - It is the chief observance of a corrupt worship system called in the Bible "Babylon" it originated from ancient Babylon and Nimrod whose beginning was shortly this side of the Flood! - Nimrod, son of Noah's son Ham and was founder of this Babylonish system still present in the world sifted through all the ruling kingdoms of the world based on competition and profit creation system - these ruling kingdoms based on competition handed down this competition system through each ruling kingdom - Nimrod built the Tower of Babel as recorded in scripture Genesis 10, 10:10, 11:5-9 Nimrod organized the worlds first Kingdom building numerous cities which became the Kingdom of Babylon. - The name Nimrod in Hebrew is "Marad" which means "He Rebelled" - Nimrod married his own mother named Semiramis. after Nimrod died Semiramis, his mother/wife propagated the survival of Nimrod in the spirit, She claimed a full grown evergreen tree sprung out of a dead tree stump symbolizing Nimrod resurrecting from the dead. On the anniversary of his birth Nimrod would re-enter the evergreen tree and leave gifts on the evergreen tree. December 25th was the birthday of Nimrod. This is the origin of the Christmas tree. - Semiramis deified herself as "Queen of Heaven" and deified Nimrod as "Divine Son of Heaven" reincarnated as Tammuz (Eze 8:14) - Tammuz (Eze 8:14) became the false messiah son of Baal, the Sun G_d - this whole myth started a false system of worship of "Mother and Child" starting from the original Semiramis and Nimrod/Tammuz (Eze 8:14) reborn. - this corrupt system spread throughout the world under different names: Semiramis & Nimrod/Tammuz (Eze 8:14), Egypt - Isis and Osiris, Asia - Cybele and Deoius, Rome - Fortuna and Jupiterpuer, - other names for Nimrod/Tammuz (Eze 8:14) was Ahura-Mazda, Astalluhi, Baal, Ballim, Bel, Enki, Haoma, Marduk, Mars, Melech, Merodach, Ninus, Adon, Adonai, Adonis, Aeneas, Attis, Bendis, Cupid, Mithra, Nabul, Nebo, Osiris & Serapis - other names for Semiramis are Anaita, Aphrdite, Astarte, Ishtar (Easter in english), Ashtaroth, Ashtoroth, Atys, Ceres, Cybele, Demeter, Eostre, Eastre, Freya, Inanna, Ostera, Venus and wife of Baal - counterparts of this Semiramis & Nimrod/ Tammuz (Eze 8:14) "Mother and Child" corrupt worship system can be found also in Greece, China, Japan, and Tibet - In the fourth and fifth centuries the pagans of the Roman world were being evangelized into the Roman Church by hundreds of thousands bringing their pagan customs into the Roman Church so the Roman Church began adopting these pagan customs into the Roman Church giving these pagan practices Christian names. - There are similarities between the "Mother and Child" worship and the veneration of Miriam (Mary) and the child Yeshua (Jesus) - The Roman Church in reality is reversing what YHWH (G_d) views as unholy and making them holy and sacred - Sorry my friends YHWH (G_d) views these forms of worship as pagan idolatry; read further for proof - some people take offence to the truth but the truth isn't always pleasant. here is YHWH's command: Isa 58:1 - Cry aloud, spare not, lift up thy voice like a trumpet, and shew my people their transgression, and the house of Jacob their sins. - this "Mystery" Religion (Revelations 17-18:4) has gripped the whole world since ancient Babylon and the Roman Church brought it into the Christian Church. - always believed son of Isis (Egypt "Queen of Heaven") was born December 25th. This birthday has been celebrated through paganism for centuries before Yeshua (Jesus) was even born - recap: Yeshua (Jesus) was not born on December 25th, the Apostles did not observe December 25th, did not celebrate Yeshua's (Jesus') birthday, nor did the first century Congregation celebrate December 25th nor Yeshua's (Jesus') birthday - There is no command in scripture to observe December 25th nor celebrate Yeshua's (Jesus') birthday in fact observing birthdays is also pagan. - What about Jude 3 - Beloved, when I gave all diligence to write unto you of the common salvation, it was needful for me to write unto you, and exhort you that ye should earnestly contend for the faith which was once delivered unto the saints. - Logic should dictate that if the Apostles nor first century Congregation did not observe it then it is not part of the "Faith delivered to the Saints" so we should not observe it - these pagan observances derived from Chaldean Mysteries have been sifted through the centuries and have found its way into the Christian Church -Origins of Holly Wreath, Mistletoe, and Yule Logs: - Mistletoe was used by the pagans in the Winter Solstice because it was considered sacred to the Sun, and because of its miraculous healing power. kissing under the Mistletoe was beginning stage of revelry and drunken debauchery . Winter Solstice in fact is the celebration of the death of the old sun and the birth of the new sun and Mistletoe is a parasite. - Holly berries considered sacred to the Sun G_d - Yule log in fact is a sun log. Yule means wheel a pagan symbol of the sun - The Encyclopedia Americana writes, "The holly, the mistletoe, the Yule log ... are relics of pre-Christian times." - The book "Answers to Questions", by Frederick J. Haskins writes, "The use of Christmas wreaths is believed by authorities to be traceable to the pagan customs of decorating buildings and places of worship at the feast which took place at the same time as Christmas. The Christmas tree is from Egypt, and its origin dates from a period long anterior to the Christian Era." - Where did the Santa Claus tradition originate from? - Santa's true character is not as benevolent and holy as many think. The name "Santa Claus" is a corruption of the name "St. Nicholas" a Roman Catholic Bishop from the 5th century. - Encyclopedia Britannica, volume 19, pages 648-649, 11th edition writes, "St. Nicholas, bishop of Myra, a saint honored by the Greeks and Latins on the 6th of December .... A legend of his surreptitious bestowal of dowries on the three daughters of an impoverished citizen ... is said to have originated the old custom of giving presents in secret on the Eve of St. Nicholas [Dec. 6], subsequently transferred to Christmas day. Hence the association of Christmas with Santa Claus ...." - during the year parents punish their children for telling lies yet at Christmas time tell their children the Santa Claus lie. Some children grow up and find out about the truth that Santa Claus is a myth and begin to question the reality about Yeshua (Jesus) and YHWH (G_d). What does YHWH (G_d) say about bearing false witness? Exodus 20:16 Thou shalt not bear false witness against thy neighbour. De 5:20 - Neither shalt thou bear false witness against thy neighbour. Mt 19:18 - He saith unto him, Which? Jesus said, Thou shalt do no murder, Thou shalt not commit adultery, Thou shalt not steal, Thou shalt not bear false witness, Mr 10:19 - Thou knowest the commandments, Do not commit adultery, Do not kill, Do not steal, Do not bear false witness, Defraud not, Honour thy father and mother. Lu 18:20 - Thou knowest the commandments, Do not commit adultery, Do not kill, Do not steal, Do not bear false witness, Honour thy father and thy mother. Ro 13:9 - For this, Thou shalt not commit adultery, Thou shalt not kill, Thou shalt not steal, Thou shalt not bear false witness, Thou shalt not covet; and if there be any other commandment, it is briefly comprehended in this saying, namely, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. To keep the Santa tradition may seem right to you and harmless but here is what YHWH says: Pr 14:12 - There is a way which seemeth right unto a man, but the end thereof are the ways of death. Pr 16:25 - There is a way that seemeth right unto a man, but the end thereof are the ways of death. - In England the term "Old Nick" is slang for the devil. you can find that in any reliable dictionary. Also Satan appears as an angel of light: 2Co 11:14 - And no marvel; for Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light. - What does the bible say about the Christmas Tree? Where the bible has been silent about the Apostles observing such customs certainly not silent about the Christmas Tree: Jeremiah 10:1 "Hear ye the word which the LORD speaketh unto you, O house of Israel: 2 Thus saith the LORD, Learn not the way of the heathen, and be not dismayed at the signs of heaven; for the heathen are dismayed at them. 3 For the customs of the people are vain: for one cutteth a tree out of the forest, the work of the hands of the workman, with the axe. 4 They deck it with silver and with gold; they fasten it with nails and with hammers, that it move not. 5 They are upright as the palm tree, but speak not: they must needs be borne, because they cannot go. Be not afraid of them; for they cannot do evil, neither also is it in them to do good. 6 Forasmuch as there is none like unto thee, O LORD; thou art great, and thy name is great in might. 7 Who would not fear thee, O King of nations? for to thee doth it appertain: forasmuch as among all the wise men of the nations, and in all their kingdoms, there is none like unto thee. 8 But they are altogether brutish and foolish: the stock is a doctrine of vanities." That is a perfect description of the Christmas Tree and YHWH (G_d) says not to learn the ways of the Heathen and calls it vain, brutish and doctrine of vanities. - Is there a command in the bible to exchange Christmas gifts? Is exchanging Christmas gifts the continuation of a tradition that the wise men or Magi started when they gave gifts to the child Yeshua (Jesus)? - Bibliotheca Sacra, volume 12, pages 153-155 writes, "The interchange of presents between friends is alike characteristic of Christmas and the Saturnalia, and must have been adopted by Christians from the Pagans, as the admonition of Tertullian plainly shows." - Would you go to a party and exchange gifts with everyone but the person's who's birthday it is? So how does this honor Yeshua (Jesus)? That is what the majority of people do in the exchanging of Christmas gifts every year. They think they honor Yeshua's (Jesus') birthday by scrapeing together every dime, some people even steal Christmas gifts, get caught in the crowds and hustle bustle. Best thing is when the credit card bills come in after the festive season.Do many give much thought to Yeshua (Jesus) and his cause? Why do believers and unbelievers celebrate Christmas? Most Christians use the example of the wise men or Magi as the reason for exchanging gifts. - Matthew 2:1-11. "Now when Jesus was born in Bethlehem of Judaea in the days of Herod the king, behold, there came wise men from the east to Jerusalem, saying, Where is he that is born King of the Jews? ... And when they were come into the house, they saw the young child with Mary his mother, and fell down, and worshipped him: and when they had opened their treasures, they presented unto HIM gifts; gold, and frankincense, and myrrh." - Notice king Herod inquired about Yeshua (Jesus) the King of the Jews. So did the Magi give gifts to Yeshua (Jesus) because it was his birthday? Absolutely not. They gave him gifts because he is a King. Was it Yeshua's (Jesus') birthday? Absolutely not. it took many days for the Magi to get there and actually Yeshua (Jesus) was 2 years old and was a child not a baby and was in a house not a manger. Were the Magi at the manger at the same time as the shepherds? Absolutely not. The Magi were never at the Manger but at a house and Yeshua was two years old.proof? Mt 2:16 - Then Herod, when he saw that he was mocked of the wise men, was exceeding wroth, and sent forth, and slew all the children that were in Bethlehem, and in all the coasts thereof, from two years old and under, according to the time which he had diligently enquired of the wise men. Does the fact that the Magi gave gifts to the child Yeshua (Jesus) initiate a tradition of giving gifts at Christmas? Absolutely not, the Magi gave gifts to Yeshua (Jesus) not exchange gifts amongst themselves. - Adam Clarke Commentary, volume 5, page 46 writes, "Verse 11. (They presented unto him gifts.) The people of the east never approach the presence of kings and great personages, without a present in their hands. The custom is often noticed in the Old Testament, and still prevails in the east, and in some of the newly discovered South Sea Islands." - The Magi did not give birthday presents to Yeshua (Jesus) but rather were following an acient eastern custom to bring gifts to a King. Another example of this is when the Queen of Sheba brought gifts to Solomon 2Ch 9:12 - Does Christmas really Honor Yeshua (Jesus)? some say: "Even though we dont know Yeshua's (Jesus') birthday we should still pick a day to honor his birthday." Absolutely not! Catholic Encyclopedia writes "Sinners alone, not saints, celebrate their birthdays." So plainly the celebration of birthdays is a pagan custom observed by sinners. Some say: "Even though we understand that the pagans have had similar observances in the past but we do not worship Yeshua (Jesus) the same way the pagans worshipped the pagan gods like they did. We do it to worship the true G_d." What does YHWH G_d say? Deut. 12:30 "Take heed to thyself that thou be not snared by following them, after that they be destroyed from before thee; and that thou enquire not after their gods, saying, How did these nations serve their gods? even so will I do likewise. 31 Thou shalt not do so unto the LORD thy God: for every abomination to the LORD, which he hateth, have they done unto their gods; for even their sons and their daughters they have burnt in the fire to their gods. - YHWH G_d clearly states he will not honor that kind of worship even if it is done in his honor. John 4:24 "God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth." John 17:17 "Sanctify them through thy truth: thy word is truth." What does the Bible say about vain worship? Mt 15:9 - "But in vain they do worship me, teaching for doctrines the commandments of men." Mr 7:7 - "Howbeit in vain do they worship me, teaching for doctrines the commandments of men." Mr 7:9 "And he said unto them, Full well ye reject the commandment of God, that ye may keep your own tradition." - sorry folks Christmas is a tradition of man with its origins based in paganism - you can go ahead and keep your tradition but here is what YHWH (G_d) says Ga 6:7 - "Do not be deceived: God cannot be mocked. A man reaps what he sows. - Truth is Christmas is part of the Mystery Babylon worship system that YHWH (G_d) calls us out of Revelation 17:5 "And upon her forehead was a name written, MYSTERY, BABYLON THE GREAT, THE MOTHER OF HARLOTS AND ABOMINATIONS OF THE EARTH." Revelation 18:4 "And I heard another voice from heaven, saying, Come out of her, my people, that ye be not partakers of her sins, and that ye receive not of her plagues."

The True Meaning Of Christ-Mass
They tell us that it is the season to be jolly. It is a time of ornaments, red and green decorations, silver bells, holly, mistletoe and colored lights. It is also a time of department store Santas calling out their universal mantra, "Ho ho ho, Merry Christmas." Nearly all of the realm of so-called "Christianity" join in and repeat this same greeting, "Merry Christmas!"
Although we hear these words constantly as they resonate millions of times throughout the land, almost nobody understands what they are really saying. It is the purpose of this tract to take the words, "Merry Christmas" and examine the true meaning and essence of those words.
A true Christian would want to examine everything they say, because Jesus said in Matthew 12:36-37, "But I say unto you, that every idle word that men shall speak, they shall give account thereof in the day of judgement. For by thy words thou shalt be justified, and by thy words thou shalt be condemned." We will now set aside all of the customs, glitter and traditions of Christmas, which were taken from pagan witchcraft and popularized by the Roman Catholic Church, and we will focus on the true meaning of the words, "Merry Christmas!"
The word "Merry" is simple to define. It unquestionably means to be happy, joyful and light-hearted. The word "merry" fits into the ambience of laughter and frivolity. This word "merry" by itself is innocent and innocuous enough, but as we will now see, it becomes heinously blasphemous when used with the word "Christmas."
Here let it be noted that most people think that the word, "Christmas" means "the birth of Christ." By definition, it means "death of Christ", and I will prove it by using the World Book Encyclopedia, the Catholic Encyclopedia, and a book entitled, The Mass In Slow Motion.
If you are an honest, sincere and discerning Christian, please read on; if not, you might as well stop right here. The World Book Encyclopedia defines "Christmas" as follows: "The word Christmas comes from "Cristes Maesse", an early English phrase that means "Mass of Christ." (1) It is interesting to note that the word "Mass", as used by the Roman Catholics, has traditionally been rejected by the so-called Protestants, such as Lutherans, Baptists, Methodists, Presbyterians, Pentecostals and so on. The word "Mass" is strictly a Catholic word and thus, so is "Christ-Mass."
It would stand to reason, that since all of these denominations love and embrace "Christ-Mass", that December 25th is the great homecoming day, when all of the Protestants become Catholic for a day. It would seem that all of the so-called "wayward daughters" of the Romish church return to their mother, the scarlet harlot. Thus, all of the so-called Protestant churches could sing to the Pope that popular song "I'll be home for Christmas."
As previously stated, the word "Mass" in religious usage means a "death sacrifice." The impact of this fact is horrifying and shocking; for when the millions of people are saying, "Merry Christmas", they are literally saying "Merry death of Christ!" Furthermore, when the fat man in the red suit laughs boisterously and says, "Ho ho ho, Merry Christmas", he is mocking and laughing at the suffering and bleeding Saviour, who died for our sins. He does this while parents place their little children into his waiting arms to hear his false promises of gifts that he says he will give them. Consider what you are saying when you say "Merry Christmas."
What is so amusing about our Saviour's painful death? What is so funny? Why is Santa laughing? Why are you going along with it? Your words do count and Satan knows it. Yes, the word "Mass" does mean "death sacrifice", and to cement that fact, we will consider the definition of the inventors of the religious application of the word "Mass." I am looking at page 537 of the Catholic Encyclopedia, which says, "In the Christian law, the supreme sacrifice is that of the Mass." It goes on to say, "The supreme act of worship consists essentially in an offering of a worthy victim to God, the offering made by a proper person, as a priest, the destruction of the victim." (2) Please note carefully the word, "victim" of the Mass. The Latin word for victim is "Hostia" from which the word "host" is derived. The Mass, by definition of those who coined the word, is a sacrifice involving a victim. There is no other meaning for the word "Mass" or "Christ-Mass." On page 110 of a book entitled "The Mass In Slow Motion", we find the following words: "It is only with the consecration that the sacrifice of the Mass is achieved. I have represented the Mass to you, more than once, as a kind of ritual dance." (3)
In essence, the Mass is the ceremonial slaying of Jesus Christ over and over again, followed by the eating of his flesh and the drinking of his blood. The Mass is the death sacrifice, and the "Host" is the victim. This is official Roman Catholic doctrine, and "Christmas" is a word that they invented. Again, I ask, what is so merry about the pain, bleeding, suffering and death of Jesus Christ? Satan has done quite a job of getting millions of so-called "Christians" to blaspheme. What a deceiver he is. Now you know the true meaning of the word "Christmas" or Mass of Christ. There is much more to know about this pagan holiday.

Pagan Roots of Christmas Resources Book 3
I am going through all my booklets I have on the topic so you can read my resources. If you want to write an article or book on the topic please feel free to use as you like.
Rough Notes -CATBTI
- the Apostles and first century Congregation took the Gospel to the known world - as pagans were being converted into the true faith their old pagan customs were being mixed into the faith - characteristics of pagan deities were being applied with the true characteristics of YHWH an His true Messiah Yeshua (Jesus) - pagans preferred pagan practices but wanted salvation too - Christmas is an observance that has its roots in these pagan practices - people in the Western world spend lavishly for gifts they can not afford - indulges include parties including drinking alcoholic beverages, seasonal delicacies, traditional practices to celebrate the birthday who they profess to be their king. - Through false doctrine they worship their king based on their own human reasoning - does YHWH and Yeshua (Jesus) honor the Christmas celebration? - amongst the non-scriptural based practices is decorative lights, hanging of evergreen leaves, mistletoe, holly, holding a boar's head festival, sending Christmas cards, having midnight mass, or church services on December 25th - there is no commandment anywhere in the Bible to observe a birthday - three times birthdays are mentioned in scripture and on all three occasions violent deaths occurred Genesis 40:9-22, Job 1:4, 19, Matthew 14:3-12 - the celebrating birthdays concept was unknown to primitive Judaism so is certain that Yeshua (Jesus) never celebrated his birthday - If YHWH wanted Yeshua's (Jesus') birthday celebrated He would not have so completely hidden its exact date - Many Christians confess that December 25th is not Yeshua's (Jesus') birthday - no one celebrated Yeshua's (Jesus') birthday on December 25th for 200 years after his birth. - Julius Sextus Africanus, a historian from Alexandria, Egypt was first to set the December 25th date for Yeshua's (Jesus') birthday in 221 C.E. - Yeshua (Jesus) could not have been born on December 25th or even in the winter proven by the scriptures - the priest Zachariah, was of the sect of AbiYah - correct calculations using the info about John the Baptist conception, the son of Zacharia, Yeshua' (Jesus') was conceived around the middle of December rather than being born at that time - Gospel of Luke states that the conception of John two months after the Feast of Unleavened Bread - the priestly sect AbiYah was eighth such sect to serve in the Temple 1 Chronicles 24:10; these priests served eight weeks after the spring sacred season see Luke 1 - The Two Babylons, by Rev. Alexander Hislop writes, "The first rain falls in the month of Marchesvan, which answers to the latter part of our October and the former part of November... from whence it appears that [the Messiah] must be born before the middle of October, since the first rain was not yet come." - Messiah was not born on December or even in the winter but rather when the shepherds were still in the fields watching their flocks by night near Bethlehem Read Luke 2 - logically Yeshua (Jesus) could only have been born in the fall not winter - crops were harvested and people were traveling to Jerusalem for the Feast of Tabernacles, weather was still agreeable for traveling women and children, and revenue was readily available for payment of taxes, and the recording of the annual feasts days recorded in Leviticus 23 - Bethel Edition Translation of the bible writes, "John 1:14 And the Word became flesh and tabernacled among us, (and we beheld His glory, glory as of the only begotten from the Father), full of grace and truth." - Yeshua came (tabernacled) to live amongst the human family He was appointed to save - similar traditions between Christmas and Roman Saturnalia; both are celebrated close to the Winter Solstice - December 25th has been celebrated as a holiday involving pagan worship from antiquity - another name for Saturnalia was Paganalia possibly the origin of the term 'pagan worship' and is referred as false unscriptural form of worship Read Larousse's Encyclopedia of Mythology page 219 - Saturnalia is an ancient Roman pagan celebration that was observed 7 days December 17-24 unrestrained festivity to honor pagan god 'Saturn' which followed immense gluttonous feast - the name 'Saturn' means abundance - McClintock & Strong's Bible Cyclopedia article "Christmas" writes, "Trynne says in his strong was (in histo-mastix) 'our Christmas lords of misrule,' together with dancing, masks, mummeries, stage-players and such other Christmas disorders, no in use with Christians, were derived from these Roman Saturnalia and Bacchanalian festivals, which should cause all pious Christians to abominate them!" - Colliers Encyclopedia article "Christmas" writes, "The choice of December 25 was probably influenced by the fact that on this day, the Romans celebrated the Mithraic feast of the Sun G_d (natalis solis invicti) and that the Saturnalia also came at this time." - Yeshua (Jesus) was not born at this time, and observance of winter solstice was derived from pagan superstitions. - Christmas not named in scriptures nor celebrated by Apostles or the first century Congregation - Mankind cant make it holy - In the Golden Bough Frazer states that Augustine and Leo the Great explained away the concept that the Sun was being worshipped but admitted that many Christians were associating the Son of G_d with the Sun G_d - ancient pagans saw the sun move south in the heavens and the days growing shorter, and they assumed that the sun was departing to never return. so they used decorations and religious observances to ensure the sun would return - they saw the sun slow then stop so they believed their petition had been successful which started unrestrained rejoicing, feasting and revelry and drinking alcohol beverages heightened the excitement - when the sun began moving northward and could determine the days were getting longer a new year was proclaimed - stones and poles are in earth to mark shortest and longest days, Stonehenge in England is an example - the 'Mother and Child' veneration, witnessed in almost every pagan culture, originated from Babylon, Semiramis and Tammuz the resurrected Nimrod which similarities could be seen in the veneration of Miriam (Mary) and the child Yeshua (jesus). - why make an idol out of the out of the crib nativity scene? it is the death of Yeshua at Calvary not the birth of the baby Yeshua in a manger that saves us - Why is an evergreen tree brought into the house and decorated with bright tinsel and lights? nowhere in the Bible is there a command to do this . This custom stems from worship of Nimrod - Nimrod was executed by Shem, Noah's son, for apostasy against YHWH and so Nimrod was pictured in mythology as a dead tree that had been cut down, which the serpent Aescalapius twisted itself around the dead tree stump which produced a new tree spring forth from the dead tree stump hence Aescalapius was called the life restorer. The serpent in the Bible is Satan the devil Revelation 12:9, Genesis chapter 3. this mythology of a tree springing out of a dead tree stump symbolizes the dying sun and the sun being restored to life at December 25th each year - Jeremiah 10:2 Thus saith the LORD, Learn not the way of the heathen, and be not dismayed at the signs of heaven; for the heathen are the people are vain: for one cutteth a tree out of the forest, the work of the hands of the workman, with the axe. 8 But they are altogether brutish and foolish: the stock is a doctrine of vanities. Romans 1:25 Who changed the truth of God into a lie, and worshipped and served the creature more than the Creator, who is blessed for ever. Amen. - Xmas Wreaths - made from evergreens most frequently round, Evergreen means everlasting life, a never dying existance in pagan mythology - the round shape symbolized the sun like halos do also so round Xmas Wreaths stand for the everlasting sun or never dying or self-renewing sun, the round shape also corresponds to the female which is symbol of regeneration of life read Numbers 25 - Revelation 18:4 say to come out of Babylon which includes pagan symbols being discussed here - Christmas Spirits - many people indulge in drinking alcoholic beverages to heighten the excitement - many alcoholic beverage bottles are given as Christmas gifts - The Two Babylons, by Rev. Alexander Hislop pages 96-97 writes, "The feast, as regulated as by Caligula, lasted five days, loose reins were given to drunkenness and revelry (the Saturnalia). This was precisely the way, in which, Berosus, the drunken festival of the month of Tebeth, answering to our December, in other words, the festival of Bacchus, was celebrated in Babylon... the wassailing bowl of Christmas had its precise counterpart in the "drunken festivals" of Babylon, and many other observances still kept up among ourselves at Christmas came from the very same quarters." Where are the scriptures supporting drinking alcoholic beverages at Christmas parties? Did the Apostles do it? - Where did the custom of Santa and his reindeer come from? he was Saint Nicholas shortened to St. Nick. Nick is a name for Satan the devil research it in any worthy dictionary. Why do parents tell their children a lie about the myth of Santa Clause every year? Is telling your children falsehoods biblical? Saint Nicholas was a fourth century bishop - Webster's New World Dictionary writes, "4. Saint, 4th century A.D.; bishop of Myra, a patron saint of Russia, of Greece, & of young people, sailors, etc.: his day is December 6: cf Santa Claus." - Strong's Exhaustive Concordance lists it as 3531 (American Standard) Version corrected the spelling to Nicolaitans). The word is then traced to 3534 Nikos. Therefor the root word for Nicholas is Nike and the ending of the word is 2992 Laos - a people. The term Nicolaitanes is hated by Yeshua (Jesus) and YHWH. Revelation 2:9, 3:9 - May represent Nike Winged Victory - the puritans who came to the new world (1620) settled in New England - rejected Christmas - Encyclopedia Britannica, 11th Edition writes, " In 1644 the English Puritans forbad any merriment or religious act by act of parliament, on the ground that it was a heathen festival, and ordered it to be kept as a fast. Charles II revived the feast, but the Scots adhered to the Puritan view."

Pagan Roots of Christmas Resources
I am going through all my booklets I have on the topic so you can read my resources. If you want to write an article or book on the topic please feel free to use as you like.
Rough Notes -PTAC
- who was born on December 25th? - did the Apostles or the first century Congregation celebrate Christmas? - what does the Bible say about Christmas trees? - few people know where Christmas customs come from? - people are just born with these customs already existing and don't ever question them. - Most people assume that these customs to be chief observances of the true Congregation of YHWH - Assume that these customs were celebrated by the first century Congregation and the foundation of the true faith. - Assume Yeshua (Jesus) was born on December 25th - assume we exchange gifts because the wise men presented gifts to child Yeshua (Jesus) - Christmas means "Mass of Christ" which came to us from the Catholic Church - Catholic Church got the customs of Christmas from the Heathen celebration Sol the Sun God - these customs came from Baalism which the Bible condemns as the most abominable of all idolatrous worship - Christmas is never observed by the Apostles nor the first century Congregation - it is one of the fables that Apostle Paul talked about in 2 Tim 4:4 that would deceive the world in the latter days - Christmas is of Pagan Babylonish origin - Yeshua (Jesus) not born on December 25th not even in the winter - "there were in the same country shepherds abiding in the fields, keeping watch over their flock by night" Luke 2:8 - Shepherds could not be abiding in the fields nor could their flock be in the field in December in Palestine - the flocks would not be in fields in winter but no later than October 15th would be corralled and brought out of the cold rainy season and put in stalls - scriptural proof winter was a rainy season not allowing shepherds to abide in the fields: Song of Solomon 2:11, Ezra 10:9, 13 - It was an ancient custom among Jews of the day to send out their sheep to the fields and deserts about the Passover (early-spring), and bring them home at commencement of the first rain, says the Adam Clarke Commentary Vol 5., page 386 - this authority also states, "during the time they were out, the shepherds watched them night and day, As ... the first rain began early in the month of Marchesvan, which answers to part of our October and November [begins mid October], we find that the sheep were kept out in the open country during the whole summer. And, as these shepherds had not yet brought home their flocks , it is presumptive argument that October had not yet commenced, and that, consequently, Our Lord, was not born on the 25th of December, when no flocks were in the fields; nor could He have been born later than September, as the flocks were still in the fields by night. On this very ground, the nativity in December should be given up. The feeding of the flocks by night in the fields is a chronological fact." - see quotations from the Talmudist in Lightfoot - Catholic Encyclopedia states Yeshua (Jesus) was not born on December 25th - Yeshua's (Jesus') date of birth is unknown - Scriptures indicate mostlikelyhood Yeshua (Jesus) was born in early fall probably September. - If YHWH wanted us to observe Yeshua's (Jesus') birthday He would not so completely hidden the exact date - not one word in New Testament or Old Testament telling us to observe Christmas - The Apostles nor the first century Congregation never observed Christmas - no bible authority for its observance - Catholic Encyclopedia under caption of "Christmas" says "Christmas was not among the earliest festivals of the Church ... The first evidence of the feast is from Egypt" - continued: "Pagan customs centering around the January calends gravitated to Christmas." "...in the scriptures, sinners alone, not saints, celebrated their birthday." - From Encyclopedia Britannica "Christmas (i.e., the Mass of Christ) Christmas was not among the earliest festivals of the church..." - From Encyclopedia Britannica "Christmas It was, according to many authorities, not celebrated in the first centuries of the Christian church, as the Christian usage in general was to celebrate the death of remarkable persons rather than their birth..." "a feast was established in memory of this event [Christ's birth] in the fourth century. In the fifth century the Western Church ordered it to be celebrated forever on the day of the old Roman feast of the birth of Sol, as no certain knowledge of the day of Christ's birth existed." - Roman Church ordered Christmas observance in fifth century - Schaff-Herzog Encyclopedia states in article on Christmas, "How much the date of the festival depended upon the Pagan Brumalia (Dec. 25) following the Saturnalia (Dec. 17-24), and celebrating the shortest day of the year and the "new sun" ... cannot be accurately determined. The pagan Saturnalia and Brumalia were too deeply entrenched in popular custom to be set aside by Christian influence... The pagan festival with its riot and merrymaking was so popular that Christians were glad of an excuse to continue its celebration with little change in spirit and in manner. Christian preachers of the West and the Near East protested against the unseemly fivolity with which Christ's birthday was celebrated, while Christians of Mesopotamia accused their Western brethren of idolatry and sun-worship for adopting as Christian this pagan festival." - Constantine made Christianity the state religion of the Roman Empire in fourth century - Schaff-Herzog Encyclopedia also explains how Constantine recognized Sunday as the new Christian sabbath which was formerly Sunday day of Sun Worship and how influence of pagan Manichaeism which identified the Son of God with the physical Sun hence calling December 25th birthday of the Son of God (birthday of the Sun-god) - no matter what we call Christmas is still the sun-worshipping festival - from Encyclopedia Britannica "Certain Latins, as early as 354, may have transferred the birthday from January 6th to December 25, which was then a Mithraic feast, ...or birthday of the unconquered Sun ... The Syrians and Armenians, who clung to January 6th, accused the Romans of Sun worship and Idolatry, contending that the feast of December 25th, had been invented by disciples of Cerinthus..." - We got Christmas from Roman Catholics, they got it from paganism, where did it originally come from? - it is chief custom of corrupt system denounced in Bible prophecies and teachings under the name of Babylon which derived from Nimrod - Nimrod, grandson of Ham, son of Noah, real founder of Babylonish corrupt worship system. - a system of organized competition, man-ruled governments and empires, based on competitive and profit-making economic system - Gen 10:6, 8-12 records the story of Nimrod and the building of the Tower of Babel, the original Babylon, Nineveh, and many other cities and created the first world kingdom. - Nimrod in Hebrew means "He Rebelled" - Nimrod started the the great organized worldly apostacy from YHWH which has dominated the world until now sifted through all the ruling kingdoms - Nimrod married his own mother named Semiramis. - After Nimrods death his mother-wife propagated the doctrine of the survival of Nimrod as a spirit being - She claimed a full-grown evergreen tree sprang over night from a dead tree stump which symbolized Nimrod being resurrected from the dead - on the anniversary of Nimrod's birth Semiramis claimed Nimrod would visit the evergreen tree and leave gifts upon it. - December 25th was the birthday of Nimrod - this is the real origin of the Christmas tree - through scheming Semiramis became "Queen of Heaven" and Nimrod under various names became the "divine son of Heaven" - as generations went by Nimrod became the false Messiah the son of Baal the Sun-god - this false babylonish system - Mother and Child - Semiramis and Nimrod reborn became chief objects of worship - The "Mother and Child" false babylonish system spread throughout the world under different names - in Egypt - Iris and Osiris - in Asia - Cybele and Deoius - in Rome - Fortuna and Jupiterpuer - in Greece, China, Japan, Tibet are found counterparts of the original Madonna (Mother and child false babylonish system - Rome was pagan before Christianity so the Roman pagans during the fourth and fifth centuries were converting to Christianity by the hundreds of thousands because they could observe their old pagan customs in Christianity as Christianity adopted them changing their names to Christian sounding names. - it was the habit of Christianity to overtake and rename certain forms of paganism and assimilate it into Christianity - we just never questioned whether these customs came from the Bible or from pagan idolatry - this babylonish pagan idolatrous worship system Satan has used for centuries to deceive the world - in Egypt was always believed the son of Iris (Queen of Heaven) was born on December 25th and paganism celebrated this famous birthday over most of the known world for centuries before the birth of Yeshua (Jesus) - The Apostles did not celebrate this famous birthday, Yeshua (Jesus) was not born on December 25th, there is no command in the Bible to celebrate it, and the celebrating of birthdays is Heathen custom - no where in the Bible does it command us to worship Mother and Child, the Apostles did not worship this Mother and Child - Sure Miriam (Mary) is written in the scriptures Luke 1:28, 42, 48 but no where is it commanded that we worship Miriam (Mary) - No where in Scripture is Miriam (Mary) commanded to be worshipped, deified, made a divine being. - erroneous doctrines about Miriam includes worshipping her as Mother of God, doctrine of Immaculate conception, her as an intercessor between God and Man, - the deified Miriam (Mary) originated from Semiramis the Queen of Heaven the wife/mother of Nimrod - this Chaldean Mystery founded by wife of Nimrod was handed down to Christianity renamed Christmas - how did we get Holly Wreath, Mistletoe, and Yule Log - was used at festival of Winter Solstice because was considered sacred to the Sun because of its miraculous healing power - kissing under the mistletoe was an early step in the night of revelry and drunken debauchery - celebrating the death of the old sun and the birth of the new sun at the Winter Solstice - Mistletoe, sacred in pagan festivals is a parasite - Holly berries were also sacred to the Sun-god - The Yule log is Sun log - Yule means wheel and is a pagan symbol for the Sun this is the origin of the so called sacred Yuletide season - The Americanna writes, "The holly, the mistletoe, the Yule log ... are relics of pre-Christian times" - Paganism the book, Answers to Questions by Frederick J Haskins writes, "The use of Christmas wreaths is believed by authorities to be traceable to the pagan customs of decorating buildings and places of worship at the feast which took place at the same time as Christmas. The Christmas Tree is from Egypt and its origin dates from a period long anterior to the Christmas era." - What about Santa Claus? - the name Santa Claus is a corruption of the name St Nicholas, a Roman Catholic bishop from 5th century - Encyclopedia Britannica Vol 19 11th edition pages 648-9 writes, "St Nicholas, bishop of Myra ... a saint honored by the Greeks and Latins on the sixth of December ... A legend of his surreptitious bestowal of dowries on the three daughters of an impoverished citizen ... is said to have originated the old custom of giving presents in secret of the eve of St Nicholas [Dec 6] subsequently transferred to Christmas day. Hence the association of Christmas with Santa Claus..." - throughout the year parents punish their kids for telling falsehoods but at Christmas they themselves tell their children the Santa Claus lie - Is it Biblical to teach your children Myths and Falsehoods? - may seem right to man but here is what Bible says: Pr 14:12 - There is a way that seems right to a man, But its end is the way of death. Pr 16:25 - There is a way that seems right to a man, But its end is the way of death. - Old Nick is a term for the devil and Satan appears as an angel of light so says scripture - 2Co 11:14 - And no marvel; for Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light. - What the Bible says about the Christmas Tree - Jeremiah 10:1 Hear ye the word which the LORD speaketh unto you, O house of Israel: 2 Thus saith the LORD, Learn not the way of the heathen, and be not dismayed at the signs of heaven; for the heathen are dismayed at them. - We are told not to learn the way of the Heathen and this scripture describes what YHWH views as Idolatry - is exchanging gifts Biblical? - Christmas Shopping Season - Bibliotheca Sacra, Vol 12 pages 153-155 writes, "The Interchange of presents between friends is alike characteristic of Christmas and the Saturnalia, and must have been adopted by Christians from the Pagans, as the admonition of Tertullian plainly shows." - exchanging gifts does not honor Yeshua's (Jesus') birthday or honor him. how does exchanging gifts and ignoring the persons who's birthday it is honor that person? - People honor a birth date that is not Yeshua's (Jesus') scrape together every dime they can buying presents to trade back and forth but do people give gifts to Yeshua and his cause? - consider this scripture - Matthew 2: 1 Now when Jesus was born in Bethlehem of Judaea in the days of Herod the king, behold, there came wise men from the east to Jerusalem, 2 Saying, Where is he that is born King of the Jews? for we have seen his star in the east, and are come to worship him. 3 When Herod the king had heard these things, he was troubled, and all Jerusalem with him. 4 And when he had gathered all the chief priests and scribes of the people together, he demanded of them where Christ should be born. 5 And they said unto him, In Bethlehem of Judaea: for thus it is written by the prophet, 6 And thou Bethlehem, in the land of Judah, art not the least among the princes of Judah: for out of thee shall come a Governor, that shall rule my people Israel. 7 Then Herod, when he had privily called the wise men, enquired of them diligently what time the star appeared. 8 And he sent them to Bethlehem, and said, Go and search diligently for the young child; and when ye have found him, bring me word again, that I may come and worship him also. 9 When they had heard the king, they departed; and, lo, the star, which they saw in the east, went before them, till it came and stood over where the young child was. 10 When they saw the star, they rejoiced with exceeding great joy. 11 And when they were come into the house, they saw the young child with Mary his mother, and fell down, and worshipped him: and when they had opened their treasures, they presented unto him gifts; gold, and frankincense, and myrrh. - did they present gifts because it was his birthday? They did not come on his birthday it took many days actually 2 years (Matthew 2:16) it took the wise men to get there. The wise men presented gifts to the Yeshua (Jesus) child not baby and did not exchange gifts amongst themselves. - Adam Clarke Commentary Vol 5, page 46 writes, "Verse 11, (They presented unto him gifts). the people of the east never approach the presence of kings and great personages, without a present in their hands. The custom is often noticed in the Old Testament, and still prevails in the east and in some of the newly discovered South Sea Islands." They were not instituting the custom of exchanging gifts for Christmas but rather following an old eastern custom to present gifts to a King. - Christmas is part of the Idolatrous Babylonish Worship System that YHWH calls his people out of. Read Revelation 17-18:4 - The Christmas Spirit is created annually to sell Merchandise

Rough Notes -PAPC
- we acknowledge the details of Yeshua's (Jesus') birth Luke 2:10, 11 -strangely no one knows the exact date of Yeshua's (Jesus') birth - was it December 25th? - is this birth date, December 25th taught in Bible? - Christmas is not taught in the Bible nor even celebrated by the Apostles nor the first century Congregation - What is the origin of Christmas and the December 25th date? - What is the origin of the Christmas Tree, lights decorations, and Santa Claus? - Where did these traditions come from? - Who authorized them and for what reason? - New Standard Encyclopedia Volume 4 Article "Christmas" (Chicago, Illinois: Standard Education Corporation, 1989), C-320 writes, "Christians began to celebrate Christmas about 200. But they observed it on varying dates, because the exact date of Christ's birth was unknown. In 354, December 25 was declared to be the birthday of Christ, and in 440 the pope decreed on that date. The Church at Constantinople, however observed it for years on January 6, and that date is still used in some Eastern Orthodox churches." "December 25 comes only a few days after the winter solstice (about December 22). the shortest day of the year in the Northern Hemisphere. This season had long been a period of celebration among the pagans in many parts of the world because it symbolized the beginning of a new year in nature. Christmas thus replaced a pagan holiday with a Christian one, while keeping the same symbolism - the birthday of Christ corresponds to the birth of the year. Many of the pagans customs became part of the Christmas Celebration." - Earl W Count, 4000 Years of Christmas (New York, New York: Henry Schuman, 1948, 18 writes, "Mesopotamia is the very ancient Mother of Civilization. Christmas began there, over 4000 years ago, as the festival which renewed the world for another year. The twelve days' of Christmas; the bright fires and probably the Yule log; the giving of presents: the carnivals with their floats, their merrymakings and clownings, the mummers who sing and play from house to house; the feastings; the church processions with their lights and songs - all these and more began there centuries before Christ was born. And they celebrate the arrival of a New Year." "For that day [December 25] was sacred, not only to the pagan Romans but to a religion from Persia which, in those days, was one of Christianity's strongest rivals. This Persian religion was Mithraism, whose followers worshiped the sun, and celebrated its return to strength on that day. The church finally succeeded in taking the merriment. the greenery, the lights, and the gifts from Saturn and giving them to the babe of Bethlehem." "It happened that the date [December 25] did fall in the midst of the Saturnalia. Far from being an invention to compete against Roman and Persian paganism, the birthday of Christ ran the danger of being swallowed up in pagan merrymaking. The [church] Fathers tried strenuously to keep Christmas strictly a church celebration. It was part of their unremitting struggle to break the grip of the pagan gods upon the people. And they broke the grip -- after a battle of centuries. The pagan Romans became Christians -- but the Saturnalia remains." - Here is the origin of the Christmas Tree: R. Brasch, How did it Begin? (New York, New York: David McKay Company, Inc., 1966) 332, 333 writes, "It is a fact that the Christmas tree stems primitive pagan customs. Its main features, green foliage and candles, were associated with the winter solstice when nature seemed dead, and green branches and trees were used in a magical rite to insure the return of vegetation and the victory of light over darkness." New Standard Encyclopedia, Volume 4, C-320 writes, "Nearly all American customs can be traced to other countries -- the homeland of the many nationalities represented in the United States. For instance, the Christmas tree, usually an evergreen , was first used in Germany. The mistletoe was sacred to the Druids, priests of ancient Britain and Gaul. The Norse used holly and yule log to keep away evil spirits." - Here is the origin of the gift giving: New Standard Encyclopedia, Volume 4, C-320 writes, "Gifts were exchanged during the Roman celebration of Saturnalia, a feast to the god of Saturn, held December 17-23. Gift-giving came to symbolized the gifts brought to the Christ Child by the Three Wise Men or Magi." Note the wise men gave gifts to Yeshua (Jesus) not exchange gifts among themselves. Adam Clarke, Clarke's Commentary, Volume 3 writes, "the people of the East never approach the presence of kings and great personages without a present in their hands." - Here is the origin of Santa Claus: originated from 2 Christmas traditions; 1. St Nicholas 2.Kris Kringle - Saint Nicholas was a fourth century bishop of Myra which is now in Turkey; Patron Saint of children; the Dutch call him Sinterklaas - In Germany reformers replaced Saint Nicholas with the Christ Child or Kris Kringle and in North America Kris Kringle became Santa Claus, in England he became Father Christmas - Santa Claus legendary figure who brings gifts to children on Christmas pictured as Joly old elf who knows if children have been naughty or nice - Children are taught to write to Santa to tell him what they want for Christmas or sit on his lap and tell him their Christmas wishes - Children are also taught it is Santa who brings the gifts and that on one night, Christmas eve, Santa encompasses the whole world to bring gifts to all children everywhere in the world and that he is in Sleigh drawn by reindeer whereby he goes from rooftop to rooftop and even comes down every ones chimney. Santa is a rival to Jesus in the Christmas celebration, Children are taught to pay attention to Santa Rather than Jesus - Is Yeshua (Jesus) honored by all this myth and deception? - Was the real Yeshua (Jesus) part of Christmas in the first place or is the Christmas Jesus a different Jesus? Read this: 2 Corinthians 11:1 Would to God ye could bear with me a little in my folly: and indeed bear with me. 2 For I am jealous over you with godly jealousy: for I have espoused you to one husband, that I may present you as a chaste virgin to Christ. 3 But I fear, lest by any means, as the serpent beguiled Eve through his subtlety, so your minds should be corrupted from the simplicity that is in Christ. 4 For if he that cometh preacheth another Jesus, whom we have not preached, or if ye receive another spirit, which ye have not received, or another gospel, which ye have not accepted, ye might well bear with him. - Santa is made to be a god knowing who's been naughty or nice, actually knowing all our actions all year long - Santa is a Myth and the real Yeshua (Jesus) is not - Yeshua (Jesus) is the giver of gifts and when he returns he brings our rewards whether good or bad Re 22:12 - And, behold, I come quickly; and my reward is with me, to give every man according as his work shall be. James 1:12 Blessed is the man that endureth temptation: for when he is tried, he shall receive the crown of life, which the Lord hath promised to them that love him. - Mixing religious practices has never been acceptable to YHWH. John 4:23 But the hour cometh, and now is, when the true worshippers shall worship the Father in spirit and in truth: for the Father seeketh such to worship him. Jeremiah 10:2 Thus saith the LORD, Learn not the way of the heathen, and be not dismayed at the signs of heaven; for the heathen are dismayed at them. 2 Corinthians 6:4 Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion hath light with darkness? 15 And what concord hath Christ with Belial? or what part hath he that believeth with an infidel? 16 And what agreement hath the temple of God with idols? for ye are the temple of the living God; as God hath said, I will dwell in them, and walk in them; and I will be their God, and they shall be my people. 17 Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing; and I will receive you, 18 And will be a Father unto you, and ye shall be my sons and daughters, saith the Lord Almighty. R. Brasch, How Did it Begin, 324 writes, "It is interesting... to see how the genius of the human mind has been able, through the centuries to give them [heathen customs] a different and sacred meaning" Ezekiel 23:29 And they shall deal with thee hatefully, and shall take away all thy labour, and shall leave thee naked and bare: and the nakedness of thy whoredoms shall be discovered, both thy lewdness and thy whoredoms. 30 I will do these things unto thee, because thou hast gone a whoring after the heathen, and because thou art polluted with their idols. 2 Corinthians 7:1 Having therefore these promises, dearly beloved, let us cleanse ourselves from all filthiness of the flesh and spirit, perfecting holiness in the fear of God. - Yeshua (Jesus) was never part of Christmas so we cant put him back into something he was never in. M. A. Smith, From Christ to Constantine (Dowers Grove, Illinois: Inter-Varsity Press, 1971) 150, 151 writes, "Christmas was generally celebrated in the West only after the triumph of Constantine, when the time of Christ's birth was reckoned with the day of the Unconquered Sun on December 25." The New Schaff-Herzog Encyclopedia of Religious Knowledge, Volume 3, (Grand Rapids, Michigan: Baker Book House, 1908), 48 writes, "The pagan Saturnalia and Brumalia were too deeply entrenched in popular custom to be set aside by Christian influence ... The pagan festival with its riot and merrymaking was so popular that Christians were glad of an excuse to continue its celebration with little change in spirit and in manner."
