Hello All,

We have added yet another song to our profile.  We just finished it yesterday.  You might call this one a medley of musical devices from the last 30 years.

White Pine has a song in a movie released this week
called "Que Viva La Lucha!" The film is by Gustavo Vasquez
about La Lucha Libre wrestling in Tijuana, Mexico. (Mexican "Free
Wrestling.") Our song "Activate Your
Emergency Equipment" was chosen as the theme song for the infamous wrestler
"Extreme Tiger" in the film. "Que Vive La Lucha" premieres this week in
the US at the Mill Valley Film Festival.

No that's not a typo! We're actually playing 2 shows in 1day! First, we play at Noon at the Alameda Point Skate Park with Superfinos VTO and Bong. (For info: http://www.caliskatz.com/v4/skateparks/alameda_skatepark.asp ) then we're crossing the Webster Tube & Bay Bridge to play in San Francisco at the Edinburgh Castle with Icebird, The Weather Underground and The Countless Others...(visit  http://www.castlenews.com/ for info.) Also, don't forget about our Free In-Store Performance at the Berkeley Rasputin Records on Friday October 5th @ 5PM. So I guess this is a record for White Pine-- 3 shows in 48 hours! Make it to all three shows and our guitarist Chris will give you his guitar pick!

We recorded 4 *new songs over the weekend (09/23/06&09/24/06.) *OK, so one of them we've recorded before-- "Grab assing in Cabo-Wabo" but no one has heard the first version, yet. And, the new version will feature Tom Petersen doing his best Cabo-Wabo style guitar (Eddie Van Halen eat yr. heart out!) We also recorded "Fabric" (a song recorded& written by Tom Petersen earlier in his Mylar Ensemble) "Sleepy Demons are the Creatures of the Street" and "How I Started Smoking, again."  We should have them up for grabs very, very shortly!
